I hope this EP will get famous aswell as Mellodeath's past songs
We need a wave of people who like this stuff from marshmellos stuff.. unless people really dont care about that stuff.. i just want our artists to get recognized because they deserve it
@@SayonaraFriend about marshmello I can say he lost his major chunk of audience in last 2 years , as of 2023 he made only 5% of edm songs, rest all of he just focused on Latin/funk albums like he wanted money, so he disrespected the EDM thing which bought him here and also he lost the audience, so how can he expect now this albums to become famous, he was never consistent with edm, this is his fault now you can see he has over 56 million massive subscriber base on UA-cam, but his album is struggling to get even a 100K views, he need to make edm and again get famous like before to get recognition like 2016-19 era....

Glad to see someone able to see the difference between both Mello and svdden death. That's the kind of unfortunate part of marsh going into dubstep. People gate keep him so much and he's such a talented producer. His mixes are always very clean and even though in a lot of the collabs he's done doesn't sound much like him he's still for sure put work into it. But thats just my perspective since I've been a fan of marshmello since Alone.
I've been listening to marshmello ever since skrillex shouted him out in 2015 so it's pretty easy for people who have listened to him for a long period of time to be able to actually notice his inputs in these heavier tracks. Most people fail to realize what type of music he made before marshmello. If they did know, they wouldn't be saying things like "he just slapped his name on the song" and all of that type of nonsense. The man is talented and people are reluctant to admit it just because he's mainstream. People just fail to realize that he's mainstream for a reason.
Really enjoyed the first two tracks as well as "Vortexblade". I would say they really make a good team with Marshmello's musicality and SVDDEN DEATH's snares😂
Absolutely love this EP,
Fireball probably being my favourite cuz i love metal,
Ceremony having one of the sickest 2nd drops ive ever heard,
Vortexblade would be awesome to hear live,
Burn It Down having sick af build up melody's imo,
And Triumphant being my least favourite but still quite enjoyable as a track within this EP
Overall id say a solid 8.5/10 as far as modern Dubstep EPs go :)
Can't wait to see what more these two legends have in store for us >w
I like Burn It Down but on the first few listens I kept thinking, "why does this sound familiar?"

im a bit dissapoint about the fireball that ive been waiting for so long. man they change the big juicy slap into that snare :(
im not mad , just dissapointed. 7/10 for the whole production. if the fireball like the first one im gonna give 100/10 ofc :(

Just started your vid, but I listened through the ep earlier, and idk if it was something on my end, but cool ideas are there, but half the ep is just not executed nicely to the ears.
I said something similar.. I do NOT think this was mastered very well

Yeah I've never liked that signature snare he uses its WAY too loud and not thuddy enough. Probably sounds sick live. But that snare has made me not like full songs from him quite a few times lol
5:10 he changed the snare to Fireball and I no longer like the song lmfao
Weeeeellll to be honest I think that Svdden Death's style gets a little bit oversaturated at this point... and it hurts me to say that! VOYD II was one of the most exceptional albums I've ever heard, and I would never thought that his style will become this boring this fast. Maybe boring is wrong word, but the thing is that so many recent tracks of him feel like they've been done on some kind of template. For every track of Mellodeath Tapes you can easily point out to which of his previous tunes it is similair. You can hear it in the drums his using, like I love his style of snares, but when I hear it in most of his tracks it's getting quite annoying. And you can say "it's his style it's obvious these tracks sound somewhat similair" but I can't agree with that, as imo VOYD II was pure Svdden Death's style yet none of the tracks in it felt like it's copying any of his previous work. Just an opinion. I really admire Svdden Death as an artist, so big respect for him, but for now I feel like his on a severe downfall...

I think burn it down bring alot from the EP but still not enough favor and not enough style that can bring close to let's say Space Laces
Ain't gonna lie, not a fan of the ideas of this ep. (Note: I am a bass head) But the ideas just don't hit for me. the only track i find decent is "Ceremony". Don't get me wrong, the production in the entire EP is outstanding, but just can't get behind the vision for most of these tracks.
Quite repetitive to be honest, but then again I’m not the biggest SD fan in the first place
?? all 4 songs definitely have different ideas and drops so im not sure what you mean by repetitive
