Always thought she was an amazing actress as well as a great singer . What she could bring to the screen very few people have ever achieved. She twinkles like the one of the brightest star in the sky.
All magnificent ❤
Beautiful woman
Nós lindas e maravilhosas 💕 beijos 💋💋
The outfit she wore in Funny Lady while performing (It's Gonna Be) A Great Day is outstandingly gorgeous. How you omitted it is baffling.
That really was a great outfit, and I will include it in my video about 15 more iconic barbra streisand movie outfits.
Barbra has so many iconic movie looks, she deserves a second list.
“On a Clear Day “ was not a great film, but the costumes were gorgeous.
You should do her iconic looks in life. Some of the outfits she wore to premieres or meeting the queen were better than a lot of these. Anything from the jeweled pillbox period show her at her peak in design and talent. Wonder who designed those outfits for her.
Thanks for compiling!
Some of her best costumes were designed by Bob Mackie in Funny Lady.
If we are talking iconic outfits HOW can you miss her pussycat outfit in "owl and the pussycat"??? And black outfit in "Great Day" number was gorgeous!!!! What about some of the beautiful dresses she wears in "the way we were" too???
All those are great choices and I intend to add them to a new video that compiles 15 more of her most iconic looks. Barbra has so many iconic looks she deserves a second list.
The music is wonderful.
This is a total misuse of "iconic". An iconic outfit would be one that has made a widespread and indelible impression, one that many moviegoers would instantly recognise, even out of context. The gold Hello Dolly gown: certainly. The Leopard print coat & hat from Funny Girl: sure. The white, beaded Clear Day gown with turban: why not? And I guess you could make a case for some of the other Dolly or Funny Girl gowns. But all those Clear Day mini-dresses and matching coats? Only the most devoted costume or Streisand devotee would even recognise them. Also, they were completely unbelievable attire for a character who was supposed to be a regular college student, and therefore seriously bad costumes.
Yeah, I'm in agreement with you regarding the Arnold Scassi/Daisy mini get-ups in 'Clear Day.' Fashion-wise, they were pretty 70s ghastly. Of course, the Cecil Beaton/Melinda costumes were gorgeous and highlighted that fabulous profile of hers.
