- This year alone in the UFC there have been so many occasions where a fighter that everyone expects to climb the rankings and become a problem ends up losing pretty early on in their career, and some of these fraud checks are much worse than others, so i've ranked the biggest fraud checks this year on a tier list from S to D tier.

BSD was against dustin he wasn't completely a fraud it's just experience vs prospect

Staph infection, like everyone’s saying and he still showed that he’s dangerous. He was all over Poirier in that first round
He was doing pretty well in the fight until the knockout. I'd say BSD without the staph infection beats Dustin 6/10 times.

Saint Denis vs Poirier is d tier imo. He didn’t get completely outclassed and lost to Dustin Poirier of all people. Factor in the staph and jump in competition and I think it’s d tier.
BSD - lost to DP as a slight underdog who is a multiple time title challenger, former interim champ, and fighting for a belt next. BSD won the first round and then was KOd in the second after gassing out with staph infection
A tier
Almeida - lost to curtis blaydes as a huge favorite who has never held a belt or challenged for undisputed after winning round one and getting KOd in round two
C tier

Almeida didn't look bad against Blaydes, he just shot a bad takedown and got punished for it, or are you going to call people like Josh Barnett, who lost in the same manner in the UFC, a bum?
Dustin is old and lost by KO in the fight prior. Also Blaydes vs Almeida was a pick em fight in terms of odds. Jailton was NOT a huge favorite. He just shot a shit takedown.
BSD was winning against Dustin the whole fight until he got KOd, He should not be that high
won 1 whole round bcos of takedown and only took down because Dustin keep jumping the gilly

Dustin was being an idiot and going for guillotines and had 7 guillotine attempts and ends up knocking him out bsd was such an overrated fighter
I don’t think BSD was properly fraud checked. He had staph which significantly impacted his gas tank and even won the 1st round of the Dustin fight but the staph just completely ruined his stamina into the 2nd round.
That's fair but he was also getting hit pretty hard in the first. I don't think he can go 5 rounds anyways so I think Staph just made him lose in r2 instead of r4 or 5 tbh. Getting hit like that for 5 rounds is going to get you finished no matter what unless you're holloway
@@blakenilsen9852 you can’t just assume he would’ve lost anyway just because he got hit hard a few times. If anything an assumption like that would only be valid for BSD since he actually won the first round.

BSD in A when he was suffering staph infection, visibly slower with a worse gas tank, losing to a guy who beat 4 champions, was a former interim champion, and even had Dustin beat in the first round.
Almeida in C when he got brutally knocked out by curtis blaydes, who was never even a title challenger in arguably the worst display of fight iq shown in the ufc as a huge favorite.

Robelis could’ve definitely won that fight. Had he used his reach to piece up Waldo at a distance, let him get tired, waited for a mistake and then land the big shot that would’ve KOED Waldo. It’s not even his grappling his fight IQ was terrible in that fight too.

Is Alex Pereira a double champ? He became a champion in two different weight classes, but he didn't hold two belts at the same time.
UFCs definition of double champ, per their sight, considers 2 belts at different times as double champs
