I'd love to visit again, but with the pandemic I'm not certain when that will be. I have been wearing Chanel makeup for over 20 years. The foundation and concealer are wonderful!! After wearing Chanel makeup you'll never like wearing other (cheap) brands again!!

Because I am unable to travel overseas just now I'm really enjoying going along on your shopping trips and seeing what you take home. Thank you for letting us join you. We have far too few lovely little shops and far too many chain stores here. I wish it were more like France in that respect. At least you allow us a glimpse of your wonderful little shops that are just full of tempting items including, of course, macaroons which I enjoy eating too many of when I'm able to get them. We lack good bakeries but I've become good at making my own pastries, cookies, candies and cakes.

There is a Laduree in Holt Renfrew in Vancouver, and it is right beside the shoe department. Every year on my birthday, My tradition is to get a beautiful pair of shoes, and then stop for a few macaroons and some tea. It is heaven.

Samples are the best way for try new products, my dermatologist always gives me samples of french products, Avené, Laroy, Vichy and others, or when a buy some perfume, they do the same, I love them. Your jeans are absolutely chic. I really enjoyed your videos about the Paris Fashion week.
I'm really enjoying window shopping with you in this video! Paris truly is the City of Lights...the most elegant city in the world. I loved that Chanel chain belt...very simple...yet such a statement (elegant). My favorite slacks are those with a side zipper. They are flattering and so easy to layer pieces over without a bump at the highest arc of my abdomen. Next, I love high waist, wide leg jeans, pants and culottes. If I wear my vintage Persian Lamb jacket from a Parisian designer back in the late 1970's,...it follows the curve of my figure and is cropped into a petal shape at my waist. There a very slight shoulder pads that manage to make even my waist look miniscule. So, high waist skirts and pants work for me just fine. I love your jeans! They look amazing on you and are so stylish. I love the darker wash and the rolled cuff. You have an excellent eye for fit and silhouette. Now...back to the make-up...oooh so many treasures! I am a strident fan of Hermes scents, though. I have not wavered in 40 years. I have two favorites and will not wear anything but Hermes scents. It is about the only product of Hermes that I can afford to purchase new!

When buying makeup I like to pick up some samples. I use them when traveling with my son and his fiance rather than packing full size makeup and skin care products. My son's fiance immigrated to the United States so he is showing her around the country. They often invite me along or we just go to his vacation home which is right between the white sands and the Sacramento Mountains.

Give it a try.

More Paris! This is so lovely, thank you. That Chanel eye pencil is my preferred one - in the dark brown Espresso because I have a lighter hair colour. I also enjoy a simple makeup and would love to know what you think about the concealer. My absolute favourite perfume of all time is Chanel No 5 L'eau :0)

It is interesting how you comment on the people in the shops being nice. In the U.S, there is a stereotype that Parisians are rude but I never found that to be true. I think that if you just greet people properly and in French-even if you don't speak much other French, they are actually extremely helpful and friendly- even at very touristy places.

My son was in Paris for in exchange in a family. The mother bought 18(!!!) macaroons for me, when he got back home - from LADUREE 😍💕🤤 later we visited them again together an I realised how EXPENSIVE they were 🙈they taste so gorgous!!

It’s my understanding that the correct pronunciation is macaron, ending with an “awn” sound. When I hear people in the US pronouncing it macaroon with the “oo” sound, I’m thinking they’re confusing it with a macaroon which is a chewy coconut cookie often available at a delicatessen. I’m now confused since you seem to be pronouncing it macaroon as well. 🤔

It is interesting how you comment on the people in the shops being nice. In the U.S, there is a stereotype that Parisians are rude but I never found that to be true. I think that if you just greet people properly and in French-even if you don't speak much other French, they are actually extremely helpful and friendly- even at very touristy places.

My son was in Paris for in exchange in a family. The mother bought 18(!!!) macaroons for me, when he got back home - from LADUREE 😍💕🤤 later we visited them again together an I realised how EXPENSIVE they were 🙈they taste so gorgous!!

Thank you for sharing your time in Paris. I would love to be there seeing the fashion as well as eating the wonderful French food! I have a question for you regarding the macaron. It’s my understanding that the correct pronunciation is macaron, ending with an “awn” sound. When I hear people in the US pronouncing it macaroon with the “oo” sound, I’m thinking they’re confusing it with a macaroon which is a chewy coconut cookie often available at a delicatessen. I’m now confused since you seem to be pronouncing it macaroon as well. 🤔
