Crowning Moments of Awesome - Badass Action Movie Scenes

- I was inspired to put this together by a friend and by the upcoming release of The Expendables. Just a collection of bad-asses doing bad ass things. Might do more of these.
The Clips belong to their respective owners.
I enjoyed both pixels of this compilation. Thank you.
Haha
Personally I thought a third pixel would have helped.
Haha- VHS capture oatmeal vision
@Fvck Off Don't sell yourself short. You can complain about whatever you want.
@Fvck Off Not a millennial for sure. But, obviously, you didn't watch it.
Great scenes. Just wished it wasn't filmed through an empty vaseline jar.
Tom Perkins 😆😆
Tom Perkins 😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
You sure it was empty?
Goes to prove, if you want a villain, cast a Brit, if you want a supervillain, cast Alan Rickman.
Too Funny!
“Go ahead .. I don’t shop here”. 😂😂👍🏼. I miss this time . I loved all these movies growing up .
U just watched Cobra 🐍 last night.
I enjoyed this compilation thrown together from old VHS tapes played in a dirty VCR. 👍🏻
This was when action movies was fucking awesome. Bone crunching action with killer one liners and a indestructible action hero
Yo...thank you for adding The Punisher scene with Dolph. Underrated movie.
The 80s were truly the high point in American cinema
LMAO! Yah, weren't they though?
don't forget the 90's
Seeing these scenes, really makes me miss the 1980s. These were some true manly scenes! Back then, people had a lot of guts. Now, we have to (at least, to a significant degree), put up with CGI.
Where, oh, where, did the true superheroes go?
"My mistake, 4 coffins" is badly missing from this compilation.
That, and Blaine's "I ain't got time to bleed", and from They Live "I am here to kick ass and chew bubble gum, and I am all out of gum", Grand Torino's "Get off my lawn" & "you know how every once in a while you mess with someone you shouldn't've?", Riddick's "this is my tea cup", Jet Li's martial arts in Lethal Weapon 4, oh, and lest we forget, Lt Col Kilgore complaining that the updraft from the napalm strike was ruining the surfing waves.
As a lifelong Eastwood fan, I approve this message.
"Hahahaha you think this is the real quade? IT IS!"
Lmao it was so clever too!
Like reliving the greatest hits of my childhood!
The Running Man was at the cutting edge of 80s action. It took real balls to create that scene. One Arnold fan said at the premiere "It was the best film I ever saw".
Interestingly enough, it's actually a Stephen King book. He wrote it under the pen name Richard Bachman to see if the quality of his writing was selling books or his name.
@@NinjaRunningWild To say the movie was based on the book is like comparing PeeWee's Big Adventure the movie to the fake spy movie they show at the end. The book and the movie are almost nothing alike. The book was a real 70's style downer, and this is one of the exceptions I pull out when people say the book is always better than the movie. In this case, I like the movie much, much better.
Stihl the best.....
The Kurt Russell draw and Bruce Willis cigarette scene were solid SAVAGE.
Riggs popping the sniper. EPIC! Reason I bought 92.
Which movie is this from?
@@deanrobinson210 The first Lethal Weapon. There were apparently a couple school shootings while the movie was in post-production, so this scene was shelved and only made it to the light of day as a DVD extra 20 years later.
@ jr Marshall thanks bud I'm gonna have to buy the DVD to see it, love these movies
I only like the first two lethal weapon movies, part 3 on they became nothing but Anti Gun movies.
Next time throw in a little Jeff Speakman. Good stuff.
The Perfect Weapon is amazing.
Arnold, Mel, and Sylvester highlights. Best of the best.
Oh my god, I'm buying a copy of Cobra immediately!
@5:12
Fun fact; Stallone was originally supposed to star in Beverly Hills Cop, but he rewrote the script, removing much of the comedy and adding a lot more action. The studio couldn't pay for most of the action sequences Stallone wanted, so he left and Eddie Murphy was brought in. Stallone decided to make "Cobra", which contains much of what he originally intended "Beverly Hills Cop" to be.
Glad the studio got their way. BHC was better than Cobra.
I liked both but BHC is the better movie.
That is a fun fact. I had always thought that Cobra and Beverly Hills cop had the same feel to them . Just one being funny and the other being a lot of 1 liners.
Nice job even the first punisher movie!
BUZZSAW loves his saw... so he can KEEP IT
*STARTS singing high pitch deathnoises*
"That's right, Matrix, you did!"
"I lied"
*schomp*
"Olalaaaa"
-- What happened to Sully?
-- I LET HIM GO
Ah yes, back when the bad guys graduated from the bad guy school of target practice. "For when you can hit the broadside of a barn, you're too good to be a bad guy."
Ah, the eighties, when all you needed to be a hero was a mullet, tight jeans, a cigarette and cheesy dialogue.
Very true
And violence. Lots and lots of violence
Dad jokes lol 👍
Yet half the films showed in this tribute were from the early 90's. Nice try though...
@@Saintbow Calm down there, lil fella. Just because youre bothered by something does not mean there was ill intent. Its astounding someone whose presumably old enough to type needs to be told that. Seriously, kid, Idk whose hurt you or in what absolute and permanently devastating way they did that makes it so immediately evident, but at some point in your life youre going to have to grow up and accept that youre not "misunderstood", and that the reasons no one likes you is that youre an inbred, rude, little douchebag hick and that that is no ones fault but your own. Good luck.
This is action movies. Not the sorry excuse they call action movies nowadays
When the compilation video just isn't long enough. Lots of good memories.
Best quality I’ve ever seen
Thanks for filtering classic video clips through a prize camera that came with a McDonalds Happy Meal.
"You're a disease. And I'm the cure."
Riggs also killed the bad guys from the other three movies with his left over rounds after he killed the sniper.
Commando was the pinnacle of 80s action... Jacked up bad-ass, cheesy one liners and over the top explosions
Before Taken there was Commando
Bad guys should not kidnap daughters
Will they ever learn.
Total lack of deep relationships and meaningful plots...just the way I like 'em.
Yeah, the acting's sh*t, the plot's bollox, the script sucks and it's punctuated by ridiculous and unnecessary violence. Yay, this is why the 80s and 90s people enjoyed the best nights in ever!!!
👁 👁
👄
The plot and justification was: “They were all bad.”
Awesome job getting all those great scenes together
Woah! Such blistering badass scenes! And at a whopping 13p as well!
Lol
These were great! You're missing 2 though that would be awesome. In "I come in Peace", in the end when Dolph Lundren is in the final fight with the main alien enemy, the alien says "I come in peace" in the end. And Dolph says "And you go in pieces asshole" and blows him up with that super alien gun, LOL! And in the end of "Commando" when Arnold says "Hey Bennet, why don't you let off some steam" and launches a huge pipe through his stomach and steam comes out, haha!
Today, cobra would have been charged with drinking on the job
I still laugh at Buzz Saws voice going up an octave as his bits are sawn off...
He becomes a Castratio(GOOGLE IT)😂😂😂
The 80's and 90's, the Golden age of Action flicks.
4:29 "They're hitting artillery on us"
LMAO
What an underrated line.
I miss the old days when they actually made movies.
Love All these classics and grew up in Era. Favorite is Willis Scene. Touch me again..i kill ye!😂 Best line ever if anyone remembers,"I came to chew bubble gum and whip Ass..and i am all outta gum! Rowdy Piper.
May Roddy Piper rest peacefully! "They Live"...
Jim Wynne Awesome movie!
But he didn't kill him. He just hit him one time.
So many amazing scenes from amazing movies. They don’t make them like this anymore, never will either.
They don't make them like this anymore! Quality.
The Last Boy Scout was underrated as hell
My Favorite 80s film of All time is First Blood...
Proud to say I have seen every single one of these films
Got caught up, it was taking me back.... I had to pause to LIKE this! 👍Nice Job, nice choices 😃🎥🎬📼👌✌
Man the way they used to give payback to the villain was so satisfying
Wow! Dolph's Punisher, and as far as I know Stallone's only true martial arts kick ever filmed ala Rambo 3. You have an amazing vid. True showcase of what 80s action was. Awesome video!👍👍
My gosh Mel was good-looking and awesome action 🌟
Wow. Best resolution I’ve never seen
Gotta love it when the good guy unnecessarily empties an entire clip into the baddie.
What’s a clip?
They are known for that. Lol
You just uploaded my childhood. Liked! 👍🏽
All my early favorites, all in one place. Thanks for this!
Justin Edgar name of 2nd and 3rd please..
@@miyabigamerz8140 2. Last Boy Scout 3.Escape from NY or LA
loved it.
childhood memories
The lines were so cheesy you got to love it!
It’s a good thing the bad guys are such bad shots.
Pure 80's cheese.
The producer of 'Die Hard' did NOT inform the building owners that they were going to blow the glass out of three stories of it!
"I dont deal with Psychos. I put em away".
Your Highness your a Disease and im the cure
That phony cobra movie
And now none of you watching this will be able to unhear sally yelling 'ooh lala' as Arnold drops him off the cliff...lol.
Nice job adding the deleted scene from Lethal Weapon.
@john oboczky shooting at the school.
8:40 my favorite Rambo scene of all time!
Die Hard is a Christmas movie
You always just end up needing a shitload of plywood and screendoors...
William Stryker I the BEST Christmas movie!
William Stryker The sequel is as well.
So is lethal weapon
Riggs...literally crazy.
"It ain't over, 'til the fat lady sings.", never a truer word spoken.
Lol.... Smiled the entire way thru lol
Dolph Lundgren as 'The Punisher.'
I remember watching most of these movies when they came out.
Kim Coats was perfect for this part. 🇨🇦
2:50 I love the combination of jet fuel and C4. 😂😂😂
2010: Nope
2011: Nope
2012: Nope
2013: Nope
2014: Still Nope
2015: Nope
2016: Nope
2017: Nope
2018: Maybe
2019: Lets put this in your recommendations!
Loved all these films in the day.
Looking back now, they were pretty dire.
😂😂😂
The Bangkok Rules scene is one of my favorite scenes of all time.
Tig has been in movies for a minute. Damn.
Is it wrong that I've seen all of these movies, most of them multiple times?
You're not watching them now... what's wrong with you, go GO NOW!
Actually, after I typed that, I went and watched Tombstone...again. But your advice was spot-on!
Iwatch them all the time. They dont make them like this anymore.
There is a certain charm about these movies that's kinda lost in action movies nowadays.
Not saying current ones can't be good or better, but the style and charm is just lost.
Du er bare ikke vidende nok om alle de film der er værd at se, istedetfor genudsendelse.
How could you think that this quality of video is even acceptable?
Don't be such an elitist 😁 It's watchable, enjoy it
Being a Badass starter pack: Cigarettes, gun powder and killer one liners.
Hard target one of my favourite movies
The Last Boy Scout. 😂👍🏼
How many remember that the sniper scene from Leathal Weapon wasn't in the original cut of the movie?
Was thinking the same when I saw it.
Its at the very begining of the movie. Most of the time its removed because its about a school shooting. Political Correctness, even back then.....
I was thinking, I don't remember that scene...
Yep, both the clips from lethal weapon films are cut when shown on tv
That was cut from the movie period. I saw it when it came out, owned it on VHS, and watched it many, many times. It wasn't cut because of any modern school shootings. I think it was cut just because of someone shooting kids.
Snake from Metal Gear Solid - Kept you waiting, huh? You're pretty good!
love the over the top ughhh aghhhs
The mel Gibson lethal weapon is a director's cut
"Cant do that."
"WHY???"
😀
After Cobra shot the robber he should have said bag'em.
Awesome 👍
11:42 < One of the very few movies made where the glass in a car window actually looked like the correct type.
I love it when the bad guy explodes.
@bmovieking13. Great job on the picks for this movie clips ... should definitely do more of these for viewers. 💪🏾🙌🏾💪🏾🙌🏾🚨🚨🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The quality of this video is so bad I thought I was back in the '80s!!
Yes..the 1880s
1780s
Filmed with a potato.
Start paying attention to when it was posted. 10yrs. ago UA-cam wasn't a thing. Hell most people didn't even have internet that would handle the bandwidth.
@@Michael-mh4vr Hahahahahaha!
Nice grab on the Mel Gibson Lethal Weapon scene. That scene is only on the directors cut because they cut it out for the school incident.
As a 90's kid growing up with these movies, this needs a part 2, with clips from new stuff like:
*John Wick* (all of it, :P)
*Drive Angry* (William Fichtner's scenes)
*Wanted* (when James McAvoy bursts through the window head-shot-ing everyone even after he stabs someone in the eye with his gun barrel an keeps shooting through the same guys skull. HARDCORE) :)
Most entertainment in cinematography I’ve seen in years!!! Thank you 80-90s for hours and hours of raw lack of political correctness!!!
Thank you for the 240p upload...wouldn’t have it any other way!!!
And not a single cellphone to be seen anywhere !
That's funny you mentioned that. Actually Lethal Weapon (part one) has Danny Glover using one of the first cell phones I ever saw in a movie. It's the size of a old Vietnam War era radio talk transmitter. Although this video never actually shows him using it.
Was he using it to text someone or take a selfie? LOL
LOL
Those were better times. Now we're living in a narcissistic idiocracy.
Technology bad. I hate my wife.
5:11 why you cut out next line “l let him go!” ...epic arnold!
That's my generation.. I don't think many of today's kids know about this movies. Still, best movies ever. All of them
I miss being bad , IRL. LOL Would have eventually caught up with me.
The high pitched note in the Running Man chainsaw scene is classic.
The finale was a perfect pick.
The clip ftom Lethal Weapon was cut it was the opening scene but was cut by the director.
Were these are clips from your VHS collection?
