"They only call me that because I'm the District Attorney." I am not lying when I say that I think about this sketch every 1.5 days. I love it so, so, SO much, even all these years later.
I love these courtroom sketches. - Dave admits to being an "inexperienced cannibal" after eating all of his fellow passengers onboard a flight delayed by 35 minutes (Prosecutor: Kevin, Judge: Scott) - Bruce faces a jury consisting entirely of his ex-girlfriends (Defense attorney: Kevin, Judge: Scott) - Dave represents himself on a murder charge (Prosecutor: Bruce, Judge: Kevin, Accomplice: Scott, Witness: Mark) - Kevin is a man accused of sexually harassing himself
Empirically Proven Reality: *we have hard, scientific proof this is all happening* Those in Power: *we just have a feeling thats just not true and STOP KICKING THE BENCH YOU BIG BABIES*
The next time someone accuses you of being cynical, say, “Thank you.” It’s nothing to be ashamed of, after all. When you’re a cynic, you’re always either right, or pleasantly surprised.
You must believe in Santa Claus too because it’s obvious a mic being held by someone. I can’t help but wonder if you’re making some joke because it’s just too obviously a microphone. This was 8 years ago. What am a doing with my life
I wonder if it's only visible because we're watching it on a flat screen. I had an old copy of Spaceballs on VHS that showed some errors that weren't on the 16:9 version because of the way the VHS was formatted. As a kid, I had always thought, "how could they leave in these obvious mistakes??"
2:29 for the best look given by an actor ever

Just because your name is Mr. District Attorney, doesn't mean this is the only job you can hold.
I like the 'disco ball' and chain, on Buddy the Killer Cole.

And Kevin interrupting his lawyer (Dave's) eloquent closing statement by admitting he did it.
It seemed silly 25 years ago. Today, it's a valid criticism of the Canadian justice system.
This is one of my favorites.
This is awesome. KITH are always just ahead of the game. This sketch foreshadows the farce that was the OJ Simpson trial!
Now it’s basically every city
@@MW-fr7bx oh? What is?

that happens in a lot of their sketches.

@KenQing
Figuratively, yes.
My murder weapon! These guys.
The OJ trial in three minutes. LOL!
I believe that's a light fixture.

@@nebulousisgod What have you been doing with your life for the past 4 years?
haha, Bruce rocks xD
at 0:22 you can see the mic on the top right corner lol
Hail to the boom mic guy. Photo bombing/scene stealing since the 1920s

Just like America today.
Well maybe I'm just not as cynical as you are...
It's the exact opposite of the American system? lol
If you want to find an innocent man, go to prison. Everybody there claims that they were falsely accused.
