I was looking at my covid19 archieve. 4years of data collecting in categories. I saw your "shot in indy" thumbnail i saved, next to feeling awful thumbnail that came next. Hope all is well. Love the vanlifr content.
Great video - the first time you take off the bumper cover it takes forever, but after that it gets pretty quick. Having replaced a number of headlights (albeit not on my 2018 Pacifica) I've found that if you want OEM, the salvage yard (which are all online) is a great option. They will total any car really easily and the front end will be untouched. btw, just to make this experience a little more painful to think about - the headlight assembly on my Trailblazer SS (and Tahoes, Suburbans, etc of this era) are literally a tool less removal - they have 2 metal holders you pull up and the headlight assembly is released. It's insane how easy it is compared to some other cars.
Yes, actually I was thinking the same thing. If I ever have to do this again, it should be a piece of cake. Now that I know what to expect AND I have all the right tools. I think this job took 3 hours but I bet I can do it again in 30 minutes! About older cars... I definitley know what you mean. Through this entire project, I found myself remembering fondly the 2001 Grand Cherokee I used to have. Once you opened the hood, you're halfway done! Then it had one long screw and that was it!😁
Great video Curtis!!!
Thank you!😁
