Camelia it should work, I think the glycerin is mainly what does that. I spray it on after I've already put the shadow on my brush and it works for me. Good luck 🙂.
I was taught as a kid to use hair spray to keep make-up in place all day this was before I even knew about setting powder or spray but I definitely prefer the idea of using the one you make here as it seems more natural 💜
love these dupe diys. Thank you so much for all these Diy's I am able to teach and pass down to my four young daughters. Especially now since they started becoming young ladies. It helps me so much to teach them that beauty products don't need to cost an arm and leg every time...
Just found this video! I don't have chamomile toner so I mixed fresh brewed chamomile tea with witch hazel and a few drops of lavender essential oil! Inlove!
How are you so under rated you've videos are so refreshing, different, useful and interesting from the typical video ideas every single over rated beauty guru makes
Hi. I saw your comment on Tati's video and so i came to your channel to watch this video 💜 couldn't have come at a better time. I am trying out the ELF mist and set so I cant wait to try this one and compare. Thank you!
I love that your mom's job worked so perfectly with this idea! You have a new subscriber. I haven't looked to see what other DIY videos you've done but I hope to find a foundation.
I just made it and I love it. I was wondering if a rose water would work for next time. Do you think it would work just as well? I bought the exact ingredients for this mix, but the chamomile toner was a bit spendy and I saw a nice rose water one much cheaper. Would love to know. Thanks so much for this vid. Saved me some money :)
Great video, I will have to give this a try. I would love to see a diy dupe of makeup brush cleaning spray! I feel like it's another beauty essential just like the mac fix that is costly
I know this is an older video but I love this. I love mac fix plus but I just don't want to keep paying the high price for it. I am going to try this as soon as I go out and get the ingredients. Thank you for this!
Thank you! I couldn't bring myself to buy makeup setting spray because of how expensive it is and I've been looking for a god diy recipe and I've finally found one! Loved the video and I subscribed. Keep making awesome beauty diys! 💖

I just ran out of setting spray and made this. I added a few drops of lavender essential oil to it and it works. My pwder looked a bt cakey and this spray worked. I didnt have toner but I used witch hazel. I used a therapuetic grade essential oil that way I was sure not to add anything that might harm my skin.
I LOVE diy's and dupe's, especially when you can save a ton of money on it! Please continue making things like this and informational videos! Also, you're so gorgeous ohmygawsh c:
Great idea. I have been reading about setting your makeup with setting spray but the products were expensive or full of crap. Thanks for sharing your natural way to make it for much less. Now I will use it.

I love this idea! For those with really delicate skin, another excellent alternative is hydrosol. They're the distilled water left over from essential oils. They naturally help to PH balance the skin, and has many healing properties :) just a fun thought to share xo
I love that you encourage us to use products that are natural like with your skincare line :) I wish you could make a video about beauty products that dont test on animals... Mac tests on animals :( I hope you may teach us to care for ourselves and care for the animals... I do love your videos and wish you could incorporate that, much love!!❤
could you add some essential oils? I use young living and have used a summer refresher with frankincense and was thinking about adding some to your finishing spray recipe. Thanks!! I love your vids!!

can you pleeeease do one for primers? Either for the whole face or eyeshadow. I'd be very interested in an eyeshadow one personally. Great video thanks so much
What are your thoughts about how this differs from the smash box primer water? I love them both but was wondering if they are similar since it seems like that have a lot of the same main ingredients. 💁🏻
Hey Brittany the link to your chamomile a toner on vasseurbeauty is broken. Says page not found. I figured you may want to fix that so people can get to your toner on the right page.
did you use the vasseur toner she used in the video? because if you didnt would you mind telling me what you used because it'd be cool to buy something a little cheaper
This was amazing!! thanks so much :) I'm not sure if it's possible, but it'd be great to know how to make a sunscreen, especially if it didn't smell like a traditional sunscreen
The last one I saw for Fix Plus had glycerin and distilled water but they said that Mac Fix Plus had rose water. So I've already bought rose water glycerin and I made my own distilled water but I haven't put it all together yet I was going to watch some videos to see the ratios and I was shocked when I heard what your said
Wow!! Thanks so much for this dyi, this is super helpful! Found you through Tati and subscribed and will for sure be checking out ALL you videos:) Amie

Hey Brittany the link to your chamomile a toner on vasseurbeauty is broken. Says page not found. I figured you may want to fix that so people can get to your toner on the right page.
Clever again i must say, is it possible to make a dupe to Mac lipstick or something like that ??
IT WORKS. You save my face. NO Cakey at ALL! No matter how much powder I put on my face LOL
did you use the vasseur toner she used in the video? because if you didnt would you mind telling me what you used because it'd be cool to buy something a little cheaper
+ItsAlexis Nelly When you put on the fix+ (or the dupe) does it make your makeup move around because it makes your makeup/face wet???
+Autumn Berlin no it soaks into your skin just apply it about 12 inches from your face sparingly
+Autumn Berlin no
love this concept! Would love to see more videos like this! :)
This was amazing!! thanks so much :) I'm not sure if it's possible, but it'd be great to know how to make a sunscreen, especially if it didn't smell like a traditional sunscreen
I will look into it, as I said my mother is a chemist so I will ask her :)
The last one I saw for Fix Plus had glycerin and distilled water but they said that Mac Fix Plus had rose water. So I've already bought rose water glycerin and I made my own distilled water but I haven't put it all together yet I was going to watch some videos to see the ratios and I was shocked when I heard what your said
Your DIYs are amazing
Can you try to recreate the benefit pore less?
I wonder if this could happen!!! I'd love it. Stuffs expensive.. 😔
Try the monistat chaffing powder gel. Super weird, but also super cheap and super good! Haha

thanks so much Ria ♡
Wow!! Thanks so much for this dyi, this is super helpful! Found you through Tati and subscribed and will for sure be checking out ALL you videos:)

Would I be able to add an essential oil if I do want it to smell nice? Maybe tea tree oil would add benefits?
Can you use any alcohol free toner? The ones from the body shop seems pretty good.
I still love this amazing video!!
Can I add chamomile essential oil to some witch hazel to make the chamomile toner that’s needed to make the Mac Fix Plus dupe? If I can how many drops of chamomile essential oil should I add to the witch hazel? Thanks so much!

Archana Potnis she has amazing diy recipe videos for bath bombs!!!! 💗☺❄😉🎊
I made this!!! IT WORKS!!
+Antonia Facuse When you put on the fix+ (or the dupe) does it make your makeup move around because it makes your makeup/face wet???
+Autumn Berlin no it wont move around actually it will fix your makeup all day, just close your eyes and spray your face, the bottle should be about 12 inches away from your face (this is important).
