Camera is lot better now after the update. You really need to know what to do with the camera there is so many modes. The lenses themselves from Sony are better than Samsung, Samsung uses the software more to make the photos good making them over exposed over sharpened pictures while One plus lean more on the hardware and that is what a real camera does. Seen so many comparisons now between s24 and one plus normal photos almost no difference at all only that One plus looks more real and not that fake. People like to hype up Samsung and iPhone and bash others for the smallest things lol like a damn cult

A very nice video. Although, the OnePlus 12 utilizes the Snapdragon 8 generation 3 chipset and not the generation 2. The generation 2 chipset is available on the 12R. Either way, they're both very capable devices. In fact, I've been enjoying the cameras on the 11 and 12. The hasselblad color science makes all the difference. My GF and I are serious ice hockey fans and she is always borrowing my 12 to photograph the players on the ice. She did the same thing when I was using my 11 as my primary. For whatever reason, the hasselblad color science does a far better job of filtering out the glare from the bright eyes surface. Unfortunately, she can't get the same result with her iPhone 15 promax. When comparing photo side by side there is a definite difference. Once more, the clarity of the three-time zoom is amazing. This is actually my third one plus flagship purchase. I've enjoyed using all of them but, the 12 is definitely an intuitive step forward. I'm just hoping they don't change the design language next year and move to the flat screen. The last thing the marketplace needs is another iPhone clone. I'll choose curved ergonomics anytime.

My GF has a photography background so, she knows how to make the most of the camera application. Obviously, no smartphone is going to be as good as professional equipment but, this is excellent.

Is this worth upgrading to from my s23 ultra? I never use the s-pen and miss the shape and size of my s21 ultra (this looks similar in shape and size to the s21 ultra)
From the S23 Ultra objectively no, the overall performance, camera, and hardware is going to be on par with the OnePlus 12 so I wont be an upgrade per se. But subjectively the feel in the hand is a lot more comfortable compared to the S23 Ultra. But I heard rumors the next galaxy series will have rounded corners, but thats just a rumor.
I really love my Oneplus 12. It's fast, UI is smooth as silk, absolutely no bloatware, works like a beast with all the multitasking I do on it, great display with good visibility outdoors, excellent RAM management, superb battery backup that lasts all day and has never let me down. Camera is decent too, works for my purpose. I own the Galaxy s23 ultra as well but use OP 12 as my primary phone as I absolutely love it!
There's lots of small differences that may be good or bad depending on what you like about your s22 Ultra. S-pen and one ui, vs Oxygen OS and no-spen. Battery Life and Performance far better for sure. Without being able to directly compare them, I'd say the Cameras are likely better overall compared to the s22 Ultra as well. So overall I'd say yes.
Checkout the Backdrops app for the wallpaper and I use the verticons icon pack for some shots and used the custom icons from default settings with adaptive colors.

There are a variety of new display color settings so I would go in and tweak them around and see if you can find the settings you like.

7 hours is very less for a battery of 5400 mah my s23 3900 mah gives me 6 to 7 hours of screen on time
That's screen on time but total overall battery is usually 20-28 hours which is very good in my opinion
