The Lebanon worships the Christ, the Jewish King, but at the same time , curses Israël. This is the result. Europe is facing the same problem, which is the poverty and violence by Islam.

This is a very new and exceptional phenomena in Lebanon...we are not a society where there has always been homeless/clochards as in France or the US...elderly were never abandoned that way
This is actually a really good reporting on the ground. It makes you feel sad compared to standard even though trutful reporting about general economic decline.
With so many videos about what is happening in Lebanon, what is missing is the video about the ruling administration. Where are they? What are their plans to get out of this mess that is happening in Lebanon? Make them accountable for what they have done. The people should be angry enough to kick them out of power and then confiscate their properties. They are the only one who became rich in Lebanon.
@@cecil123 fr I've lived in the US as a kid and currently live in leb, and trust me anyone living in the US complaining about life there should be deported, yes there may be some issues but lots of them are solvable, while in leb it's pure destruction.
The best we can do here in the west is to count our blessings firstly and secondly help people who are in need...stop wasting our money and energy on pointless materials and help humans in real need
Some of homeless people lives under bridges, like dawra and cola bridge. If you're a lebanese or you know a lebanese that you trust, you can go personally and help them. We've been touched by these people because we learned their stories but every poor person in lebanon has his own said story.
Chadi, the boy helping his whole family, got my heart. I understand his pain of having to work & work to provide (sacrifice for his family - ex: his phone, which is a treat young people are thrilled to have)…starting from youth. I cried yesterday talking with my partner how ‘lucky' we are in Germany meanwhile our brothers and sisters. Humans just like you and me at e suffering in Lebanon, Iraq (no electricity), Venezuela, Palestine, Yemen (I pray for them every day)...and many many more. How can we be happy when they suffer? It is not that simple, this privilege's of the first world is not found in Lebanon. No stable internet, not even stable electricity how can you run an online business. Shipping is not available you can't just go to your local post office and ship products. Too much corruption and high costs makes it impossible for simple people without connections to do anything
Paypal, etsy, redbubble and depop do not work over here, th currency is too weak and the banks do not let us withdraw over a certain amount so it's not worth it for these companies to put any sort of money in third world countries. Online retailing, as an independent creator is impossible, If as an exemple, i wanted to sell my art, i can't send it abroad, even the post office is unreliable. I would need to contact a private shipping company, which charges ridiculously for shipping outside of lebanon, and money would have to go through OMT, where it would be devalued. And since the average lebanese person doesnt have art or clothing in their priorities anymore, unless I settle for prices that won't even pay back the supplies i used, nobody's gonna buy it.

There are a number of initiatives on the ground. If you’re going to help try and donate to NGO’s or initiatives that don’t go through the government as corruption is very much alive. The issue isn’t a lack of help for Lebanon it’s how to get it directly to the most vulnerable and the only way to do that is to give to entities that have nothing to do with the government or corrupt elite. Kuwait sent plane loads of food and medicine. The food and medicine sent by Kuwait (which was clearly marked on the packaging and boxes) was later found in supermarkets and pharmacies. Turns out that the government cronies had trucks waiting on the tarmac at Beirut International Airport. You can’t make this up 😂😂😂 Hollywood quality!
As a Filipino I feel very sad for the people in Lebanon. Some Filipinos work there before as Nurses Caregivers Household workers and what not. But with the economic crisis that is going on there, Filipinos had left Lebanon and transfered to other Middle Eastern countries. @@naregterzian9211; the site seems basic because it’s a newly launched crowd funding website 100% owned and operated by Lebanese with no political affiliations. The issue isn’t a lack of help for Lebanon it’s how to get it directly to the most vulnerable and the only way to do that is to give to entities that have nothing to do with the government or corrupt elite.
Kuwait sent plane loads of food and medicine. The food and medicine sent by Kuwait (which was clearly marked on the packaging and boxes) was later found in supermarkets and pharmacies. Turns out that the government cronies had trucks waiting on the tarmac at Beirut International Airport. You can’t make this up 😂😂😂 Hollywood quality!

As a Filipino I feel very sad for the people in Lebanon. Some Filipinos work there before as Nurses Caregivers Household workers and what not. But with the economic crisis that is going on there, Filipinos had left Lebanon and transfered to other Middle Eastern countries. I just hope that Lebanon will rise again so that Lebanese people can live their normal lives again. Inshalla. 🙏🙏🙏
