KOI: A Twilight Zone Analysis Show - Perchance to Dream #9

Edward Hall, from The Twilight Zone episode "Perchance to Dream," is in a bad way. He is sleep-deprived to the point of genuine danger. Why doesn't he want to go to sleep--one word: Maya. In short, if Edward goes to sleep, he believes that he will not wake up. Does this sound odd? Maybe. But, Edward has always been a bit odd. His imagination is a bit more active than most. He can make pictures on a wall move and come alive, which is why the threat of Maya, the cat woman from his dreams, more real. It's also one of the reasons why this episode is so interesting to analyze. In this episode of KOI, we're talking about a potential plot hole that irks me a bit about this episode; we’ll dive into whether or not we can actually be hurt by our dreams; and I'll reveal my moment of awe.
