According to the comic, Morgan should be dead in the Season 6, actually his live is extended in the TV show, he could die in any moment, It's just a prediction, nothing confirmed at this time.

Isn't that what happened on the show? Maybe he didn't shoot his son, but other than that his son died because his mom's walker killed him. Sorry if I don't remember it 100% correctly.

Ben Abyss how? Lmao he deserved it and said he would die for the kingdom so he did, he also told the saviors that they understood what needs to be done for the saviors. Not that it matters anymore now that Negan saw the kingdom and the hilltop fight in Alexandria
he killed their best warrior to say "we get it" a few days before they start a war. It's stupid, Richard had done nothing but risk his life for the kingdom's sake and it was taken away for no real purpose or gain
Ben Abyss their best warrior come on now this dude was dumb all his plans back fired from him getting them to kill him to trying to get the saviors to kill carol. His death got Morgan into savage mode. Richard is no where near the Warrior Morgan is. Hell they even have carol on their side
he had two plans. One they didn't use so you can't say it didn't work and the other should've worked but that saviour kid went against the saviours own rules, which can't have been predicted.
