He looked at Negan with no fear in his eyes, knowing it was his time to finally go to another realm, and he looked death in the eyes without any fear even while he was hit. He stood up to Negan with his last, powering words.

TheStag2013 The reason why it hurts so much when are favourite characters die is because we basically grew up with them Glenn was pretty much our brother because he was there at the start of the show and was with us till the end of he's journy.

Abraham reminded me of my father so I cried every time he got into a bad situation, even when Maggie pointed a gun at him, when his family left him, and when he started crying. Whenever he cried, I cried :(

This really shows that Abraham wanted to be the one that Negan chose to kill, like Sasha thought. He did all he could to provoke Negan in order to be the one to be killed. He did this so that the people that he loved could live. He went out like a warrior and got a much better death then in the comics. Negan even admitted that the eeny meeny miny moe was bull shit and he chose Abraham, beacuse he didn't want to kill Rick infront of his son.

I miss him so much. He was so cool and fun he would've made a cool dad. He deserves so much more, but all of it was cruelly taken away from him before it even started. He was a soldier till the end he gave his life to save the people he cared about, and he did it without flinching and without a speck of fear in his eyes. Rip Abraham, you were my favorite character.

Abraham will always remain my favorite TWD character...Badass to the end, he was like the good version of Negan lol with the crap he said and the ass he kicked.
I still to this day only mourn Abe. Glenn had too many close calls with death from risking his life to get Ricks guns back in Atlanta to being captured by the Vatos, getting out of the CDC before it blew up to becoming walker bait for the well at Hershel’s farm, nearly getting killed in a bar shootout, getting captured by the Governor, getting sick at the prison, to being saved from being hit with a bat and his throat slit at Terminus by Carol,to nearly being bit from behind in a cornfield to almost getting killed by Nicholas when they fought in season 5s finale, to the infamous dumpster save and then being saved by Abe and Sasha when he was pinned to the wall in no way out. I knew when Glenn saw the polaroids of Lucilles victims after he made his first ever human kills that he would be meeting the business end of Lucile very soon. Abe was only around for 3 seasons and his one liners cracked me up when I had a long or depressing weekend Abe would make me laugh and forget my troubles his kills were badass and his military expertise made him a valuable asset for Team Rick.
