Do you have any special ways you like to get your children involved in sewing or creative projects? I'd love to hear so we can keep adopting ideas in our own family :)
I’ve never learned to sew much,, but when I found your channel last year, I started hand piecing a patchwork quilt. I was inspired start sewing creatively without expecting it to be perfect. I struggle with sticking with things consistently, so with my goofy rainbow colored quilt, I told myself I have to finish it, even if it’s hideous and it takes years to complete. It is made of 3 inch squares of whatever random cotton I could get my hands on. Little did I know I would be getting married the next year, and the quilt is about halfway pieced. now I’m dreaming of holding future kids in armfuls of that ugly patchwork quilt! Thank you Courtney. You do such important work! 💟
Wow, thank you so much for taking the time to share this with me. I LOVE that you've been committed to your quilt project, it sounds pretty special to me :)
We’re a military family and we made a welcome home sign that my sons painted and wrote themselves for when dad got home from a deployment. ❤ I love your videos and tutorials and started to tear up at the mention of you losing a child because I just lost one too ❤ but I was able to take my grief out and wrote a poetry book. I love that you channeled that emotion into something constructive to stay strong and still create something beautiful. Thank you for sharing this and I will be making one too!!
That is a great question - I don't have experience with this machine but you can definitely do the sewing the squares together, binding, and even top stitching if you are working with a smaller quilt :)

Hey! Love this idea:) we have a little boy and I was wondering if you would be able to make some baby boy clothes patterns? They’re so hard to find:(
Hey! This is definitely a hope for the future. Right now, the Rhodes is the boy pattern we have :)
This is so cute! Also, do you mind sharing where your water bottle is from? :)
Thank you! My water bottle is from Bink and I love it :)

Can you quilt on a Brother CS 5055?
