Does this particular batting wash well? Our daycare sends her bedding home to wash every week and i want to make sure this batting will be able to stand to weekly washings. Thanks!
Came across your channel yesterday and I absolutely LOVE your content! This nap mat is adorable, is it machine washable? And can I put it inside the dryer machine?
Hey Elaine, I've been thinking about this and I thought of two things: You could attach the pillow with velcro or another idea is to sew the pillow in between the top and bottom layers. This would mean you need to sew across the width where the pillow would go (hand stitch may be easiest here) so the pillow doesn't move around. Hope this helps!
Hi Micaela, I don't remember how much I spent, I can calculate it. If you need to spend less, I recommend sourcing fabric from the thrift store. The fabrics will be larger if you find sheets/duvets and go much further.
So lovely🧡
Just made two of these for my boys' camping trip! They are soooooooo thrilled! Thanks for the wonderful pattern and the video!
What a great idea to make for a camping trip! So happy to hear they love them :)

Hi Anna! It works great for us - you may just want to double check the wash settings on the package when you get it :)
This is so cute I’m finding it so hard to find a good quality nap May for my toddler
Thank you so much!
Making 3 for great grandchildren.
how sweet, Linda! What a nice thing to make for your grandchildren!
Hey! I love this. I’m trying to purchase the pattern off your website but it disappeared
For care instructions, do you just throw it all in the washer and dryer?
I throw it in the washer but I air dry it!
I sewed seams down the middle 3 of them exactly just bc the fill inside will get bunched up when u wash n dry it.
@@ambergranger7486 great tip, Amber!

Thank you so much, Ana! That is encouraging :) For the nap mat, I recommend washing it and hanging it to dry to protect the velcro and fabric.
I put 3 seams down the middle to hold the filler in place otherwise it will bunch up when u wash n dry it.
Where are you getting the middle measurement from for the straps. I’m having an issue understanding. Can you help please
Hi Cheryl, are you talking about the measurement for the carrying handle or how far apart to place the straps?
Hi,
I’d like to try to attach the pillow to the mat,so it won’t get lost at school. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you 😊
Hey Elaine,

Aprox how much do you spend making it? I need to make 8 and unfortunately I have a budget of $15 for each mat 😞

how can i buy it?
hi! The pattern guide for this is linked in the description :)
i paid for the pattern and still did not get the download help please
I got it- thank you! Now to make one for my grandson for Christmas!
Oh I'm glad you got it! Enjoy your time sewing and gifting :)
I need the pdf pattern
Beautiful job
Sorry I try to put subtitles on the video but it doesn't allow me I don't speak English and the subtitles would help me a lot.
thanks for the tip! i'll have to see how to add subtitles.
@@RooneySewingPatterns gracias 😊
i ended up needing three yards of strapping instead of the two suggested to make two 40” straps and a 12” carrying strap
thank you for letting me know! I'll be changing this detail for clarity.
