Although he is no longer in the team, Xhaka also improved a lot from coaching by Arteta and team.

Yes but I think he is talking about if you was to point out top 5 players that juristically improved Leondro came in as an ok player where as other teams wanted him also. Kiwoir should’ve been on this list but those have improved more under teta than kiwoir improvement

Not to criticise, but would have thought Declan in his advanced(left 8) position, with his Bournemouth burst from the middle in the 90+ minute, OR his pirouette on the 18 yard box(can't remember who twas against), would be attractive to you especially his evolve from a 6 to the current present 8 with his prowess/power attacking the box late...... All this built on an astute defensive acumen(with him running towards his own box n putting in a tackle to break up an opposing teams attack, n have us racing back into the opposing half, in a dangerous move spurred on by his hard raw runs(seldom tires, n IF he does, he just seems to find the next gear) that seem to tear the ground with defenders scampering to get back into formation ..... N I could go on n on, his crosses, n headers to....
Adding to his goals n assists..

I’m gonna be honest, the only Arteta has improved in my opinion are Gabriel Magahlaes and Saka and I’ll state why.
When Arsenal signed Ben white the amount of teams that wanted him at the time were numerous (Man City, Chelsea, Man Utd, Liverpool, Leeds[Bielsa]) cause of time at Leeds. We already knew B.White could play multiple positions based on the way Bielsa played him. The only reason nobody wanted to buy him at the end was because of the price tag so I’d say he’s somewhat fulfilled his potential.
Kai Havertz has had a decent full season at Arsenal. He’s in red hot form now but he was signed as an no.8 not a CF just as a reminder. Asides for that for the amount of goals he’s meant to have scored, similar to Isak, he’s neither over or under performing so I wouldn’t necessarily say Arteta has improved him. He’s playing in a position he’s been playing in for years for a team that isn’t changing their managers and/or team almost every season.
Odegaard prior to coming to arsenal was already considered good that that was seen at his time at Sociedad. He would be at Madrid if Modric and Kroos weren’t still performing at a world class level despite their ages. Similar to B.White odegaard is fufilling his potential he has drastically improved like Haaland’s first season at Man City or Salah’s first season at Liverpool. I still feel Odegaard can a little more when it comes to improving his R foot, having a little more impacts to games, assisting goals with better passes, etc

So who would you credit the development(their growth to their current form) to then! As you consider(critic), please keep in mind that the players themselves credit their evolution and growth to the Manager too for the evident transformation.

Also note in Kai cases the numbers he's putting up at Arsenal weren't seen at Chelsea n were last seen at Leverkusen inches 18/19 Season!

Agree! Ødegaard was already considered a great prospect at Sociedad, and the reason why they refused to prolong the contract... which also meant he had to be pulled back. Then they put him on the bench. I believe there was a clause in the contract that would force them to put him on loan. I believe the Arsenal thing just had to happen. MØ liked the club, it was during the pandemic so it had forced Real to sell him. They needed money, and I would also assume that the lack of confidence from the club made it easy to leave. I believe quite a few norwegians are happy with his current position too.

@@andreaspedersen3952 thank you for further explanation. Arteta is good coach but he’s no Brian Clough. Next year if we don’t win snything we should try to get a Luis Enrique, Xabi Alonso, Inzaghi, or Deschamps (if he’s available)
