Whilst Partey's a great Gooner, he really is injury prone. Hence I'd opt for Amadou Onana of Everton.
That last game convinced me that it's time for him to leave. He looked leggy and laboured around the pitch. We need someone dynamic to replace him.
The academy players should be sent out on loan, they are not at the level to make a squad that is battling Man City for the title.
Onana in midfield would be a disaster for opponents, the season Everton beat us, Onana was everywhere and made it soo had for our midfielders. I was like that is who we need at the base of the midfield
Onana or Yusuf fofana should be a replacement for partey. With lewis skelly as the under study.

@@antonydil7244hes a great option, PL experience, can play 6 and 8, he's a dual monster, another big fella, and it means Rice doesn't have to play every game.
Also shouldn't be expensive as Bruno so leaves more money for a pacey wide forward.

Statistically, we have played better when rice is not playing number 6 and actually as an 8. So with that said. We need a really good CDM to replace Partey if it's true. Jorginho is staying but he is great for helping rotation of the number 1 CDM. We need someone who can play the ball forward instead of moving the ball more sidewards, which Declan Rice does a lot of (no wonder his passing accuracy is high) 😅
Adam Wharton would be an excellent replacement. Press resistant, line breaking passes, great long passes, defensively astute, and young.
Adam Wharton looks good but you don't want to negotiate with Crystal Palace. Wan Bisaka went for 54 million when he was actually like a 25-30m player. Zaha was overpriced at 80m until he aged, so Adam Wharton can stay at Palace for now... how about Ederson, the Atalanta midfielder, he looked decent in the Europa league final.
Would be lucky to get wharton at 60m. Palace would sell only for big money.
@@Best_game59 Ederson definitely looks good, but he’s more of an engine, rather than a deep-lying playmaker (regista). It’s so rare to have someone who can control the game from deep while also be defensively good, especially at Wharton’s age. Left footed as well so even more rare. I wouldn’t complain if Arsenal spent a large amount on him, as long as they can still get other targets.
Amadou Onana from Everton would be my choice. Big. Strong. Box to box player and he's not daft and he's also just 22 and has more Premier League Experience than Wharton's has.
@@thezanzibarbarian5729 Depends on what you want tbf. Id take Onana too, but only as a Box to Box. But If I’m seeking a Partey replacement, someone who can sit deep and control the tempo from deep, then I’m going with Wharton. He’s shown he can do it consistently against all types of teams in the prem, in the little time he has played.
Totally agree the 6/8 debate ia super pointless and boring. Imagine Sesko on the left with Davies/Hernandez providing width down the wing and Onana helping boss the middle. We would grow another level on corners + crosses to the back post from Saka/Odegaard. So many possibilities. Can't wait to see what Arteta decides to go with. Great vids!
Completely agree.
Partey has done his part for the club and has to be proud of his achievement but right now we need new blood cause he's injuries have really done him wrong..

Bruno Guimarães is far to hot headed for my liking. We need midfielders who are going to stay on the pitch during a big game and not be sat in the changing room after being red carded.
This would be my preference.
Amadou Onana. He's younger, just 22, bigger, more powerful than Bruno is and he was playing well for Everton. So imagine how good he'd be playing in the Arsenal team.

Onana is not on the technical level of Partey.
We lost the league because Rice played as a 6 while Havertz played as an 8 when we lost against Villa, West Ham etc. Rice doesn’t have the passing range to split defenses open. So Rice is better as an 8 and we need a solid 6. For a winger we need to go get Nicho Williams, and in Defense we need to get Deyhomande at Sporting Lisbon as a back up.

If it's me ,I would sell partey,jesus,zinchenko cs they are on huge wages and injured too much. Guimares would likely to be sold,cs NUFC would loan ruben neves or sign him permanently on 3-5 years payment.
Partey needs to go; he is quality but not reliable and always injured. We need a younger player

We keep TP for another term then gets a season long injury like JT but in this case TP is old and has exceeded his prime,..

Partey has to go for a number of reasons: ,(1) if he is kept for another year he will be leaving on a free so no money for Arsenal. It's much wiser to sell him now and get money to put towards a replacement. (2) His salary is close to £300,000 per week, we can get a good replacement for half that in salary. (3) Partey no longer has the legs, as shown in the last game he is a liability. (4) We need someone younger and more dynamic. And then there's his injury proneness. Arsenal has outgrown Partey just as it has outgrown Nketiah, Nelson, Zinchenko, Elneny, Ramsdale, and Cedric Saurez,. But don't worry, no Premier League club is going to buy him.
Partey should stay as a squad player. Like the role elneny has been playing. Called upon once in a while.
