Thanks for the wonderful video. Job done and dishwasher working all for the price of a new heater and two jubilee clips. Fantastic

Thanks. Really useful video. I found from watching this that I had some dodgy wiring and didn't have to replace the heating element.

Hello, I do not know your language. My machine is L60t3c. Something like jamming occurs in the engine during washing. The fountains stop. Sometimes it saves itself from this jam. The engine of my machine is the same model. When I open and close the door of the machine, the washing starts. Then it makes a sound like 'yyyy' sound again. But I can see the rotor turning through its propeller, but the sprinklers stop. The engine gets very hot. The interesting thing is that when I supply 220 V from outside, it continues fine without any interruption or jamming. But when I connect its own card, the jamming continues. I checked the motor fan. There is no foreign object. Is this caused by the turbine of the engine? There is no problem with mofsets and zeners. I tested the card. Could you please reply regarding this turbine? Is the problem with the engine? Is it the engine turbine?

thanks, just phoned hotpoint, its £120 fixed price with 90 days guarantee, or £14.99 per month for 12 months, and 12 months guarantee, and give you new dishwasher if they can't fix problem. I'm debating whether to pay hundred pounds or so extra and get something more reliable like a Bosch.

Thanks for the video, I'm experiencing a problem with a leak after fitting a new flow-through heater any suggestions in reconnecting the hoses with a jubilee clip. I've done it exactly as you have done should I use some sort of sealer? Thanks

Do I need an electrician or an appliance repair man to look at the dishwasher if it might be tripping the consumer unit? Tenant initially thought was the oven, and an electrician attended and said not the oven and to keep an eye on other appliances plugged in. Then she said was occurring when the dishwasher was in use part way through the cycle. Electrician said to get an appliance repair person in. I'm not sure why he didnt check all the things plugged in and unplug/plug them in one by one to see what tripped the unit. 🙄 What if I send out a repair person and it's not the dishwasher either? It could be anything plugged in presumably. So I don't know if to send a different electrician to investigate the tripping problem who will look at everything plugged in, arrange PAT testing of just my appliances or an appliance person to just look at the dishwasher. Or just to order a new dishwasher as the current one was bought in 2009. Agent's electrician only looked at the oven, which was not the issue, rather than investigating the tripping problem as a whole which i don't understand. I've already had 2 visits by him for the tripping problem and he didnt solve it and only the tenant saying she thought it was the oven and now the dishwasher. Any advice please?

thanks, it wasn't working before we put it in the garage. The freezer initially stopped freezing, then the fridge gradually stopped becoming cold as well, even though we increased the temperature on the thermostat. Is there any testing I could do, I have a multimeter I could use. Not sure how to test the compressor. Many thanks.

thanks, I've just checked one of your other videos, and can see where the thermistor connector is, on the top right hand corner of the soap holder (with the door panel removed), what do I need to check here specifically to ensure that the thermistor is making good contact with the door lining?

Hi, Thanks for the responses, how would I check whether the thermistor is making good contact with the door lining?

Hi, workman1100, do you have any videos on repairing fridge freezers? I have a Hotpoint FFA60, and the freezer seems to have stopped freezing or being cold. Some people I've spoke to think it may need re-gassing. What are your thoughts? It's now in the garage not doing much, but would be good to bring it back to life.

thanks for the video, the problem with my fdw60 is the delicate light is flashing, I followed the video and checked the heater with a multimeter as on your video and it appears to be ok. Is the delicate light (light 7) flashing caused by a problem with the thermistor? And do you have a video of where I can test the thermistor with a multimeter, and replace. Many thanks,

Think thats all right, just tested mine & its 33ohms , tested the voltage going into the heater & its zero volts ⚡️ possible circuit error or a temperature sensor failure

There is a thermistor inside the door compartment which rests next to the soap dispenser and should be touching the inner door panel, this thermistor is connected to the module and it comes as a one piece unit.
