Hey Gary. Loving this series. I grew up in the 60's reading DC Comics, and Curt Swan became a major influence in my life as an artist. You're right, there wasn't a better artist at DC for the Man of Steel than Swan. I really connected with the Legion of Super-Heroes in Adventure in the Silver Age drawn by Swan. I hope you do an homage to that team soon!
Favorite Lois Lane was when she borrowed Jimmy Olsen's Elasticity serum. In fact, I like it for just one panel where Lois had to apply her Lipstick 👄💄 but had forgotten her pocket mirror. Not having the mirror, she elastically pulled out her lips and then turned the lips around so that the lips faced her, at which point she could easily apply the lipstick. In fact, if you really think about it, doing it that way is even easier than using a mirror.
Mort Weisinger-edited comic books ... so bad, they're good. The stories were wild, but I bought and collected both Jimmy Olsen and Lois Lane during the 1960s and 1970s. Loved the zaniestness.
Whenever any Go-Go Check comics are reprinted in Omnibus editions it would be nice if the horrible checks were removed and replaced with a block of colour to match each background,
😎🤔😱You bypassed two of the most "interesting" Lois Lane involvements : her temporary transformation into a Black Woman and her foster parenting of a Reservation Papoose ! 🤔The transformation issue brings up the category of question to the reader : Why does Superman have a racial identity changing machine? A question you would think a reporter like Lois would ponder further , aside from her being treated by it! The Silver Age Sidekick Stories gave us a glimpse into the not so secure and satisfying lives of super hero civilian confidants. Subtle Silver Age precautionary public announcement publications providing readers with examples of the effects that can occur if one associates with an "Alien" person. "Jimmy" as in open up and "Olsen" ( Old Saying) : A change comes over you when you get to close to foreign ways! "Lois" as in Lowest "Lane" - road a righteous woman can take by falling in love with "another kind". The wild and wonky behaviors that overtake those cavorting with contaimenated cultures is clearly communicated here!
Thanks for your comment. I'm aware of both of those issues and I decided to bypass them due to their controversial and dated aspects . And yes, they're both definitely "wonky," but also disturbing when viewed from today's point of view.

Thanks for the video. I’m going to watch more of your stuff.
So Good I watched it 3x
Binder, rhymes with tinder.
Yeah, I unfortunately learned that after I recorded this! Thanks.
Lois as half girl, half horse!
She always needs to be the Centaur of Attention.
HA!
Hey do the Virus X story line if you can. Superman from the late 60s.
Ask and ye shall receive ... stay tuned!

That would bug me ... it would destroy the history of the books. Yeah, they were dumb, but they're definitely part of the history.

Are you Sasha (Casually Comics) Wood’s husband? Your Batman impersonation sounds just like hers! And she loves talking about Jimmy and Lois!
Ha-ha ... no, but thanks for asking. And for the record, I'm actually NOT Batman. Not anymore, at least.
