This is an introductory song for Dimash Kudaibergen (he is simply well known by just Dimash). Back then he was 22 years old and every year since then we follow his perfection after perfection. After this, you can pick any performances by him and be surprised by how different each of them is. He is a unique singer with absolutely perfect vocal, unprecedented vocal range especially for male, singing in almost every genres existed on earth, in 15 languages and play multiple instruments. If you think that’s already crazy, he also has 2 degrees in classical and contemporary, a master in composition and on the way to doctorate in musicology. The Singer , it was a Chinese show for highly respected singers to compete, Dimash was the only non Chinese singer invited because the producer saw him perform for the Chinese and Kazakh presidents and was very impressed. He is from Kazakhstan and was the youngest ever competitor in 2017 at only 22 years old. This was his first performance on the show and the audience went wild for him. When the show was broadcast on tv he had to have bodyguards for the first time in his life as he had become a superstar overnight in China. He is now a world class artist, still just turned 27 on the 24th of May but touring the world to sell out arenas with his solo concerts, (on hold due to covid-19) he also performs in concerts with the famous Russian composer Igor Krutoy, is constantly collecting awards, attends many prestigious red carpet events, film festivals and even models for lots of high end fashion houses. He is university trained in Classical opera vocals to degree level, also holds a degree in contemporary pop music and jazz with a major in vocals, and now has finished his master degree in music composition. He is about to start his doctorate in Musicology.He has been having singing lessons from the age of 5 when his teacher noticed he had perfect pitch . He was offered a place at the Astana Opera in Kazakhstan but respectfully turned it down to pursue his own more contemporary musical career. He is a multi instrumentalist, more than 8 instruments and also sings in 12 different languages and has a range of over 6 octaves from a low bass A2 to a high soprano, plus a whistle register with his highest note so far being a 5 second D8 with vibrato. He is widely recognized as the best vocalist in the world. He speaks fluent Kazakh and Russian, is studying English and Mandarin and has conversational skills in both but not quite fluent yet. He is kind, humble, generous and modest, very elegant and very tall, Dimash is 6ft 3, 1/4. His Dears, as Dimash calls his fans because we are so dear to him and very loyal, number over 70 fan clubs in 120 countries globally and number in the millions, probably you will soon be one of us Dears. You just witnessed the greatest vocalist alive. He’s from Kazakhstan, sings in 15 different languages, plays multiple musical instruments and is currently working on his PhD in music. He’s been training since the age of 5, has a 6-8 octave range (depending on who you ask) has absolute pitch, and is an amazingly humble man. He sings every genre (even raps) He has many recent performances, but I would highly recommend "Sinful Passion “ 2018 and then "Stranger" 2021, "Ikanaide" 2021, "Adagio" 2017, "Daybreak" at Bastau 2017. Each performance will leave you stunned.

Dimash at the time of this performance had 6 Octaves plus 2 semi notes. He is always working to improve his voice & now has 7 plus Octaves. He has redone SOS it is labeled SOS 2021 you can hear different notes are lower & a few are higher. My suggestions for other Dimash songs are Sinful Passion with English subtitles, Opera 2, All by Myself, Hello by Lionel Richie, also you might like to check Gloria Wu website for the back story on songs Daybreak, & Autumn Strong. He IS THE WORLDS BEST. Tell me one artist who could even come close. He is 27 and has been in formal voice training for 22 yrs! Yup, since it was discovered he had perfect pitch at age 5. And he still trains 3 hrs every day. He sings 7 octaves in 15 languages and plays 8 instruments. He can do things with his voice no other can due to endless hard work. He was set to win THE WORLDS BEST competition but two young people were in competition as well so he stepped down. Thats the kind of man he is. He played a sold out concert in NY right before covid hit and fans came from 68 countries to see him. He calls is fans his "Dears" as he says we are as dear as his family and an extension of his soul. Youve only just begun. Enjoy the ride!
From this song musically Dimash was never told the word “No”. It was always yes and with direction. His grandparents who raised him as is custom by the eldest child released a video with baby Dimash sitting on the floor with one of khazakstan’s ancient instruments a dombra with his little fingers playing with the strings. If you go to wikipedia for dimashs bio the say his career started at age 2. His grandmother heard his voice had perfect pitch and put him in the music academy at the university at 5. At 5 also he won his first piano contest and started singing on stage. His mom an opera singer and his father was a pop singer and producer. As a child at one of their concerts at the end they bowed to the audience. Dimash climbed on stage and bowed too. Dimash was a prodigy not just in musisicality but in everything he touched. He has a red belt in taekwando and is a high fashion model who has also appeared on mens health magazine. He trains vocally for 3 hours a day, plays 8 instruments and according to wikipedia sings in 15 languages. So who told him no you can’t do this. This very song should have stopped him. He must’ve changed genres at least 5 times, he must’ve have used 10 major techniques throughout the song. Who told him to use hand movements and body movements thru the song. He took a masterclass in broadway production. Having two masters in classical and contemporary music and at 22 years old here he’s in his doctorate so everything you saw through your screen he either told them to do it, wrote the sheet music for the vocals and instruments or used a system to tell them by ear what to do. His story telling was evident too. So he did all of that or collabed with the other players. This contest all the singers were professionals with their own fans. This song sos was dimashs introduction to the Chinese world where 6,000,000 waltched him perform. The next morning when he stepped out there were 2 big men at his door. He was scared until they told him they were there to protect him from his fans. This all happened 5 years ago. Greetings from Russia! I will add some details to the comments. The contest "I am a singer" has been held in China for several years, but in 2017 a singer from another country was invited for the first time. Dimash Kudaibergen was already famous in his homeland, Kazakhstan, and received the Grand Prix at the Slavianski Bazaar competition in Vitebsk (Belarus). At the Chinese competition, as elsewhere, a draw was held before each stage for the order of appearance on stage. In the first stage (and the video shows the first stage of the competition), Dimash got the worst one - the first number. In fact, Dimash opened the contest! And he did not let his fellow countrymen down. Dimash performed and "raised the bar" so high that one of the contestants (he was shown at the end of the video) said: "It's even scary to go out now!".
This video is a video of a young man from Kazakhstan, singing in French at a Chinese singoff. This was the first time the Chinese had heard him, and they were shocked and stunned. He is the greatest singer in the world, as he has a 7 octave 2 note range. He has given his entire life to improving his voice. Beginning at age 5, he began is classical vocal training along with Instrument training. He later began training in contemporary vocals as well.
Dimas IS the best singer in the world! He’s from Kazakhstan and this is in 2017 when he was 23. His voice has matured and he’s even better now. Both parents are well known singers in his country and he’s been classically trained since the age of 5. He turned down a position with an opera company to do his own thing. He sings all genres of music from opera to rap and combines them in songs which is truly unique. This performance was his first in a long competition in China “I am Singer” for established singers. He was an unknown last minute wild card entry and the only foreign competitor. After this performance he became famous in China overnight. He’s also very well known in Eastern Europe. The rest of the world is slow to catch up. He isn’t tied to a record company. He sings in 14 different languages and is a multi instrumentalist. He’s educated and is due to receive his PhD in musical competition. On top of this he’s humble, kind and funny. Choose any song, he will never disappoint. ❤️

This Chinese competition of "Singer" was aired in 2017, and I highly encourage you to follow this through to the end. This is where Dimash's career really took off. This performance dates back to 2017, when Dimash was 22 years old. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. All his songs are perfection at one stage or another of his development. You can choose any song on his YT channel, they will always surprise you again and again. He has a voice rating of more than 7 octaves, but he prefers to focus on how he sings the song and what he can achieve with it. Each of his performances and songs is a work of art. It’s hard to sort him anywhere. If not yet, he will certainly be a legend soon that cannot be compared to anyone before.

Yes. Gold medal Olympic level vocal athlete. Been training his voice - daily - since age 5 in every genre. So, over 20 years now. Dimash also swims as much as he can to keep expanding / maintain his lung capacity to support his extraordinary breath control. But it is not just about vocal acrobatics. Dimash is an amazing and totally engaging artist who uses his voice as only one element in his storytelling during each performance.

Love 💕 DIMASH from VIETNAM 🇻🇳. He sings in French. He can sing in 13 languages. He is fantastic and phenomenal. His vocal range is vast. Great reaction. 100 likes.
He is definitely the best vocal artist that has ever existed. As you said some singers can do some of the thing he does. But no one can do “all” the things he can do, perfectly, effortlessly, consistently, every range, pop, rap, rock, vocalise, classic crossover, pop opera, full opera, can change tones, dynamics, colors multiple times in one son, one verse even, composes plays multiple instruments, sings in 13 or more languages (lost count) does ale music arrangements with his friend Erlan, has a totally unique connection his fans, people whose heart and soul are on same wave length as his. Totally “owns” the stage. Has the ability to interpret a song even without knowing the language, exactly as should be. I have always been very interested in music my whole life and loved lot of great artist but never in my 67 years have I found someone that affects me like Dimash. I have listened to almost no one else in the 8 month since I discovered him. I can listen to some other artists for one or two songs but then I just have to come back to Dimash. Perfection spoils you for anything else. Even if you don’t react to the all, watch him in order so you can see how he has taken perfection and continually to higher and higher levels. Many of his “dears” will follow you on your journey. If you do the Singer performances use Gloria Wu’s channel as she has the backstories to sings based on real events, has English subtitles and has tweaked something so you don’t get blocked

They can only like what is “popular” whether it is even real singing or not. If you get time, please watch some Dimash interviews and documentaries and find out what an awesome person he is, it’s that “special” person he is that comes out in his music

Oh yes, he's the BEST! I've been following him for almost four years and can't go a day without his voice. He was 22 here and will be 28 in May. He's also 6'3" and very athletic. Started music school at 5 and comes from a musical family. Besides all that he's so charming, charismatic, humble, kind, generous, deeply respectful of the elderly, has a real soft spot for children, etc. I just can't say enough good things about him! Too many wonderful performances to recommend so I'll leave that to others. You'll get plenty of recommendations!

Welcome to Dimash. He always gives you all he has. You have no idea the journey you will take with Dimash. I found him in 2017 and while I still enjoy a few other artist, no one compares to Dimash. All I think when I see other artist now... Yeah, they are good but they are not Dimash. He is my addiction and I will not be seeking a cure. It is rare to find an artist that you absolutely do not care what language he is singing in. It never matters if I know what he is singing or not. He sings in many languages, including English, French, Italian, Mandarin, Japanese, Russian, Ukrainian and of course his native Kazakh. He has also sang in Turkish and I am sure there are others I have left out. He is fluent in Kazakh, and Russian but his English is pretty good and getting better all the time. I suggest Sinful Passion. It is in Russian but has subtitles.

Although it seems impossible he's only got better since those early days. He mostly either composes for himself or works with a composer called Igor Krutoy and their joint work Olimpico is stunning. He has a full 7 octave range but says it doesn't matter about his range, it's about how his voice serves the song. So he does have songs which also stick to that beautiful silky smooth mid range. Whatever he does is flawless, even the one time we've ever seen him mess up a note he actually ended up with something that blew everyone's minds. He plays 7 instruments and sings in 13 different languages. If you pull songs directly from his UA-cam channel then you will find all of them have subtitles in various languages.

He is amazing, he has produced a music video "The Story of One Sky" and he also sings it live at his concert, off the charts. Check out Adagio, Love is like a Dream, The Show Must Go On, there is so much to discover, he is an amazing human being also.

If I may suggest, check your volumes... when you spoke was very low and soft and your introduction and Dimash's singing were blasting my ears.... I had to keep decreasing an increasing the volumen as I was listening with ear pods.... Other than that, loved your reaction/review...

Welcome to Dimash world! You haven’t seen anything jet!!! This is about 1/3 or so what he can do! This is from the singing competion "Singer" from China in 2017!!! More about that down the text here. Please react to the same songs but from different places and times because he changes them a bit every time please also watch the hole videos through because something might happen just that time…(Like Dimash hitting a D8!!! Yepp higher then the piano can go!!!) It's so fun for us "Dears" (that’s what Dimash calls his fans because he loves us as a dear family) to see how people react to him. Some info about Dimash. He is born in May 24 1994. He is from Kazakhstan and has been music schooled sense 5 years old and told the teacher that the piano was out of tune! He sings about 7 octaves or so! No one knows he is still learning. He sings higher than the piano can go! He also writs and compose own songs, plays bunch of instruments including Dombra there own Kazakh instrument that has a sound you can’t believe and onley 2 strings! He also sings in about 13 languages and speaks 3 so far (Kazakh,Russian and English). Dimash has an excellent education: he graduated from the College of Music with a degree in Opera Singing, university of arts in the specialty "Estrada and jazz vocals", and on June 18, 2020, he completed a master's degree in Composition. He graduated with a degree in opera from the music school at the University of Aktobe (2014), a degree in pop/jazz from the National Arts University in Nur Sultan (2018), just completed his Master's degree in composition (June 2020) and have started his PhD. He have done some contests in his life but the one I think got the worlds intension is "The Singer" (Allso called "I am a singer" or "Singer") from China in 2017. The Singer is a program for established Chinese singers to face off against each other invites only in a competition where votes were cast by an audience of 500. Dimash Qudaibergen was a last-minute inclusion (a 'dark horse'). But his performance of 'SOS D'un Terrien En Detresse' electrified the audience, his fellow competitors and the viewers who numbered in the billions (this program was one of the most-watched in China and outside). They also got him the nickname "Imported little brother" the day after the show. They also had to get bodyguard for Dimash do to the famous over night both in China and also the world. Dimash wasn’t really prepared for that. He had come to China at 22 years young man by him self and didn’t know the language. They hade contracted him for 2 shows because they didn’t think he cold go further than that. He didn’t think they would like him. So he was nervous this performers that he had also to start the show with. But they hade to change that do to his famous over night. Dimash got many new friends from this show and he said at some point he learned a lot from it to. Here are the You Tube videos of Dimash's performances in The Singer 2017 and also The Singer 2018 he was invited to perform at the gala show they did. Also from 2019 there "The Super Vocal boys" invited him to sing with them! This you did here!!! Episode 1 : 'SOS D'un Terrien En Detresse' (A Soul's Plea For Help) In French. P.s The guyes told us that he looked a bit like "Terry Lin" a well known Chinese singer that got the "Alien" word long before Dimash did. Looking close at the other contestants they where so worried about him. He lost his voice again after. Also in this show another contestant "Terry Lin" that was about 51 years young here he considered Dimash a dear friend at this point. But Dimash started telling them al he was his father around episode 9 I think!! That is a big respect and love from his part of the world to call him! Terry was gladly accepting it. They are still that close and also invites each other to there concerts and sometimes singing this song in duet to. They sang it in Jackie Chang movie festival in 2019 and Jackie was choked in how good they were. Great Introduction to Dimash - Please continue your journey! He will never disappoint!! This was the first performance of the first night of the Chinese competition show - The Singer - in 2017. Generally only accomplished Chinese singers could participate. But Dimash had won several contests in Kazakhstan, and was invited to compete as a wild card. No one had any idea who he was, and as it was his first performance, the audience was advised in advance by the producers to applaud and give him a warm welcome to the stage. By the end of the song, they were applauding and cheering for real. He took first place for that night's competition. The next day, he had 600 million hits on Weibo (China’s Instagram)... and the rest, as they say, is history.

Hi from Australia 🇦🇺. Welcome to the world of Dimash, right now he is the not so secret hidden gem of the world. This is an introductory song for Dimash Kudaibergen (he is simply well known by just Dimash). Back then he was 22 years old and every year since then we follow his perfection after perfection. After this, you can pick any performances by him and be surprised by how different each of them is. He is a unique singer with absolutely perfect vocal, unprecedented vocal range especially for male, singing in almost every genres existed on earth, in 15 languages and play multiple instruments. If you think that’s already crazy, he also has 2 degrees in classical and contemporary, a master in composition and on the way to doctorate in musicology. For the next reaction I personally would suggest War and Peace by Dimash, performed in Kiev Ukraine at 2020 not long before the war comes itself to the country.

The Singer , it was a Chinese show for highly respected singers to compete, Dimash was the only non Chinese singer invited because the producer saw him perform for the Chinese and Kazakh presidents and was very impressed. He is from Kazakhstan and was the youngest ever competitor in 2017 at only 22 years old. This was his first performance on the show and the audience went wild for him. When the show was broadcast on tv he had to have bodyguards for the first time in his life as he had become a superstar overnight in China. He is now a world class artist, still just turned 27 on the 24th of May but touring the world to sell out arenas with his solo concerts, (on hold due to covid-19) he also performs in concerts with the famous Russian composer Igor Krutoy, is constantly collecting awards, attends many prestigious red carpet events, film festivals and even models for lots of high end fashion houses. He is university trained in Classical opera vocals to degree level, also holds a degree in contemporary pop music and jazz with a major in vocals, and now has finished his master degree in music composition. He is about to start his doctorate in Musicology.He has been having singing lessons from the age of 5 when his teacher noticed he had perfect pitch . He was offered a place at the Astana Opera in Kazakhstan but respectfully turned it down to pursue his own more contemporary musical career. He is a multi instrumentalist, more than 8 instruments and also sings in 12 different languages and has a range of over 6 octaves from a low bass A2 to a high soprano, plus a whistle register with his highest note so far being a 5 second D8 with vibrato. He is widely recognized as the best vocalist in the world. He speaks fluent Kazakh and Russian, is studying English and Mandarin and has conversational skills in both but not quite fluent yet. He is kind, humble, generous and modest, very elegant and very tall, Dimash is 6ft 3, 1/4.
His Dears, as Dimash calls his fans because we are so dear to him and very loyal, number over 70 fan clubs in 120 countries globally and number in the millions, probably you will soon be one of us Dears.

You just witnessed the greatest vocalist alive. He’s from Kazakhstan, sings in 15 different languages, plays multiple musical instruments and is currently working on his PhD in music. He’s been training since the age of 5, has a 6-8 octave range (depending on who you ask) has absolute pitch, and is an amazingly humble man. He sings every genre (even raps) He has many recent performances, but I would highly recommend "Sinful Passion “ 2018 and then "Stranger" 2021, "Ikanaide" 2021, "Adagio" 2017, "Daybreak" at Bastau 2017. Each performance will leave you stunned.

Dimash at the time of this performance had 6 Octaves plus 2 semi notes. He is always working to improve his voice & now has 7 plus Octaves. He has redone SOS it is labeled SOS 2021 you can hear different notes are lower & a few are higher. My suggestions for other Dimash songs are Sinful Passion with English subtitles, Opera 2, All by Myself, Hello by Lionel Richie, also you might like to check Gloria Wu website for the back story on songs Daybreak, & Autumn Strong. He IS THE WORLDS BEST. Tell me one artist who could even come close. He is 27 and has been in formal voice training for 22 yrs! Yup, since it was discovered he had perfect pitch at age 5. And he still trains 3 hrs every day. He sings 7 octaves in 15 languages and plays 8 instruments. He can do things with his voice no other can due to endless hard work. He was set to win THE WORLDS BEST competition but two young people were in competition as well so he stepped down. Thats the kind of man he is. He played a sold out concert in NY right before covid hit and fans came from 68 countries to see him. He calls is fans his "Dears" as he says we are as dear as his family and an extension of his soul. Youve only just begun. Enjoy the ride!

From this song musically Dimash was never told the word “No”. It was always yes and with direction. His grandparents who raised him as is custom by the eldest child released a video with baby Dimash sitting on the floor with one of khazakstan’s ancient instruments a dombra with his little fingers playing with the strings. If you go to wikipedia for dimashs bio the say his career started at age 2. His grandmother heard his voice had perfect pitch and put him in the music academy at the university at 5. At 5 also he won his first piano contest and started singing on stage. His mom an opera singer and his father was a pop singer and producer. As a child at one of their concerts at the end they bowed to the audience. Dimash climbed on stage and bowed too. Dimash was a prodigy not just in musisicality but in everything he touched. He has a red belt in taekwando and is a high fashion model who has also appeared on mens health magazine. He trains vocally for 3 hours a day, plays 8 instruments and according to wikipedia sings in 15 languages. So who told him no you can’t do this. This very song should have stopped him. He must’ve changed genres at least 5 times, he must’ve have used 10 major techniques throughout the song. Who told him to use hand movements and body movements thru the song. He took a masterclass in broadway production. Having two masters in classical and contemporary music and at 22 years old here he’s in his doctorate so everything you saw through your screen he either told them to do it, wrote the sheet music for the vocals and instruments or used a system to tell them by ear what to do. His story telling was evident too. So he did all of that or collabed with the other players. This contest all the singers were professionals with their own fans. This song sos was dimashs introduction to the Chinese world where 6,000,000 waltched him perform. The next morning when he stepped out there were 2 big men at his door. He was scared until they told him they were there to protect him from his fans. This all happened 5 years ago. Greetings from Russia! I will add some details to the comments. The contest "I am a singer" has been held in China for several years, but in 2017 a singer from another country was invited for the first time. Dimash Kudaibergen was already famous in his homeland, Kazakhstan, and received the Grand Prix at the Slavianski Bazaar competition in Vitebsk (Belarus). At the Chinese competition, as elsewhere, a draw was held before each stage for the order of appearance on stage. In the first stage (and the video shows the first stage of the competition), Dimash got the worst one - the first number. In fact, Dimash opened the contest! And he did not let his fellow countrymen down. Dimash performed and "raised the bar" so high that one of the contestants (he was shown at the end of the video) said: "It's even scary to go out now!".

This was the first time the Chinese had heard him, and they were shocked and stunned.
He is the greatest singer in the world, as he has a 7 octave 2 note range. He has given his entire life to
improving his voice. Beginning at age 5, he began is classical vocal training along with Instrument training.
He later began training in contemporary vocals as well.

Dimas IS the best singer in the world! He’s from Kazakhstan and this is in 2017 when he was 23. His voice has matured and he’s even better now. Both parents are well known singers in his country and he’s been classically trained since the age of 5. He turned down a position with an opera company to do his own thing. He sings all genres of music from opera to rap and combines them in songs which is truly unique. This performance was his first in a long competition in China “I am Singer” for established singers. He was an unknown last minute wild card entry and the only foreign competitor. After this performance he became famous in China overnight. He’s also very well known in Eastern Europe. The rest of the world is slow to catch up. He isn’t tied to a record company. He sings in 14 different languages and is a multi instrumentalist. He’s educated and is due to receive his PhD in musical competition. On top of this he’s humble, kind and funny. Choose any song, he will never disappoint. ❤️

He sang 15 songs and got second place given his status as a foreigner. I understand that now this situation has changed and he could already win first place as a foreigner.

You can choose any song on his YT channel, they will always surprise you again and again. He has a voice rating of more than 7 octaves, but he prefers to focus on how he sings the song and what he can achieve with it. Each of his performances and songs is a work of art. Yes. Gold medal Olympic level vocal athlete. Been training his voice - daily - since age 5 in every genre. So, over 20 years now. Dimash also swims as much as he can to keep expanding / maintain his lung capacity to support his extraordinary breath control. But it is not just about vocal acrobatics. Dimash is an amazing and totally engaging artist who uses his voice as only one element in his storytelling during each performance.

Love 💕 DIMASH from VIETNAM 🇻🇳. He sings in French. He can sing in 13 languages. He is fantastic and phenomenal. His vocal range is vast. Great reaction. 100 likes.
He is definitely the best vocal artist that has ever existed. As you said some singers can do some of the thing he does. But no one can do “all” the things he can do, perfectly, effortlessly, consistently, every range, pop, rap, rock, vocalise, classic crossover, pop opera, full opera, can change tones, dynamics, colors multiple times in one son, one verse even, composes plays multiple instruments, sings in 13 or more languages (lost count) does ale music arrangements with his friend Erlan, has a totally unique connection his fans, people whose heart and soul are on same wave length as his. Totally “owns” the stage. Has the ability to interpret a song even without knowing the language, exactly as should be. I have always been very interested in music my whole life and loved lot of great artist but never in my 67 years have I found someone that affects me like Dimash. I have listened to almost no one else in the 8 month since I discovered him. I can listen to some other artists for one or two songs but then I just have to come back to Dimash. Perfection spoils you for anything else.
Even if you don’t react to the all, watch him in order so you can see how he has taken perfection and continually to higher and higher levels. Many of his “dears” will follow you on your journey. If you do the Singer performances use Gloria Wu’s channel as she has the backstories to sings based on real events, has English subtitles and has tweaked something so you don’t get blocked

They can only like what is “popular” whether it is even real singing or not. Oh yes, he's the BEST! I've been following him for almost four years and can't go a day without his voice. He was 22 here and will be 28 in May. He's also 6'3" and very athletic. Started music school at 5 and comes from a musical family. Besides all that he's so charming, charismatic, humble, kind, generous, deeply respectful of the elderly, has a real soft spot for children, etc. I just can't say enough good things about him! Too many wonderful performances to recommend so I'll leave that to others. You'll get plenty of recommendations!

Welcome to Dimash. He always gives you all he has. You have no idea the journey you will take with Dimash. I found him in 2017 and while I still enjoy a few other artist, no one compares to Dimash. All I think when I see other artist now... Yeah, they are good but they are not Dimash. He is my addiction and I will not be seeking a cure. It is rare to find an artist that you absolutely do not care what language he is singing in. It never matters if I know what he is singing or not. He sings in many languages, including English, French, Italian, Mandarin, Japanese, Russian, Ukrainian and of course his native Kazakh. He has also sang in Turkish and I am sure there are others I have left out. He is fluent in Kazakh, and Russian but his English is pretty good and getting better all the time. I suggest Sinful Passion. It is in Russian but has subtitles.

I've done that already, but his fancam view of this song (which he sings a little bit differently is just amazing!).
Although it seems impossible he's only got better since those early days.
He mostly either composes for himself or works with a composer called Igor Krutoy and their joint work Olimpico is stunning.
He has a full 7 octave range but says it doesn't matter about his range, it's about how his voice serves the song. So he does have songs which also stick to that beautiful silky smooth mid range.
Whatever he does is flawless, even the one time we've ever seen him mess up a note he actually ended up with something that blew everyone's minds.
He plays 7 instruments and sings in 13 different languages. If you pull songs directly from his UA-cam channel then you will find all of them have subtitles in various languages.

THANKS for your reactions to Dimash!!!!……..SOS is a French song, cover at Daniel Balavoine at Chine 2017. His performance begin B2 lowest note and chest voice. Hi Eddie, excellent reaction, hope to see more coming... If I may suggest, check your volumes... when you spoke was very low and soft and your introduction and Dimash's singing were blasting my ears.... I had to keep decreasing an increasing the volumen as I was listening with ear pods.... Other than that, loved your reaction/review...

It's so fun for us "Dears" (that’s what Dimash calls his fans because he loves us as a dear family) to see how people react to him.
Some info about Dimash. He is born in May 24 1994. He is from Kazakhstan and has been music schooled sense 5 years old and told the teacher that the piano was out of tune! He sings about 7 octaves or so! No one knows he is still learning. He sings higher than the piano can go! He also writs and compose own songs, plays bunch of instruments including Dombra there own Kazakh instrument that has a sound you can’t believe and onley 2 strings! He also sings in about 13 languages and speaks 3 so far (Kazakh,Russian and English).
Dimash has an excellent education: he graduated from the College of Music with a degree in Opera Singing, university of arts in the specialty "Estrada and jazz vocals", and on June 18, 2020, he completed a master's degree in Composition. He graduated with a degree in opera from the music school at the University of Aktobe (2014), a degree in pop/jazz from the National Arts University in Nur Sultan (2018), just completed his Master's degree in composition (June 2020) and have started his PhD.
He have done some contests in his life but the one I think got the worlds intension is "The Singer" (Allso called "I am a singer" or "Singer") from China in 2017. The Singer is a program for established Chinese singers to face off against each other invites only in a competition where votes were cast by an audience of 500.
Dimash Qudaibergen was a last-minute inclusion (a 'dark horse'). But his performance of 'SOS D'un Terrien En Detresse' electrified the audience, his fellow competitors and the viewers who numbered in the billions (this program was one of the most-watched in China and outside).
They also got him the nickname "Imported little brother" the day after the show. They also had to get bodyguard for Dimash do to the famous over night both in China and also the world. Dimash wasn’t really prepared for that. He had come to China at 22 years young man by him self and didn’t know the language. They hade contracted him for 2 shows because they didn’t think he cold go further than that. He didn’t think they would like him. So he was nervous this performers that he had also to start the show with. But they hade to change that do to his famous over night.
Dimash got many new friends from this show and he said at some point he learned a lot from it to.

Episode 2 :'Opera 2' in Russian!
The best moment in this show was just after Dimash started thanking everyone and saw his father there. He didn’t know he was there. Just after they got out of that room Dimash turns to his father and asks if he did good! When Dimash was gonna go in to the other contestants he again turned to his father and asked him if he done good! That’s the kind of man he is humble, loving and respectful.

Gloria Wu's channel has the back-story about the song that is so sad and from a life story about a boy losing his parents in an awful way. Also you get to hear how Dimash sounds like then loosing his voice the day of the show!!! When he went on he didn’t know if he could sing. Looking close at the other contestants they where so worried about him. He lost his voice again after. Li Jian another contestant bought him a very very expensive Chinese medication for him so he could get better soon!

Episode 10 : 'Unforgettable Day' In Kazakh and I think some translation in Chinese to. If I remember correct he wrote the music to this one when he was 19 years old and lyrics by Oral-kosai Baisengir, who was a poet/lyricist father of a friend of Dimash. Also in this show another contestant "Terry Lin" that was about 51 years young here he considered Dimash a dear friend at this point. But Dimash started telling them al he was his father around episode 9 I think!! That is a big respect and love from his part of the world to call him! Terry was gladly accepting it. They are still that close and also invites each other to there concerts and sometimes singing this song in duet to. They sang it in Jackie Chang movie festival in 2019 and Jackie was choked in how good they were. Terry was known as an alien before Dimash and they have similar vocals to.

He didn’t win the competion they say its because he wasn’t Chinese. But I don’t know if that’s right or not! They change the rules next year. But he got the most out of it and was most known after this. Got lots of awards and other things to. So he won the audience and the Chinese people.

The sybyzgy is a Kazakh sideblown flute traditionally played by shepherds and horse herders, made from apricot wood or the wood of mountain bushes. Length 600-650 mm. Great Introduction to Dimash - Please continue your journey! He will never disappoint!! This was the first performance of the first night of the Chinese competition show - The Singer - in 2017. Generally only accomplished Chinese singers could participate. But Dimash had won several contests in Kazakhstan, and was invited to compete as a wild card. No one had any idea who he was, and as it was his first performance, the audience was advised in advance by the producers to applaud and give him a warm welcome to the stage. By the end of the song, they were applauding and cheering for real. He took first place for that night's competition. The next day, he had 600 million hits on Weibo (China’s Instagram)... and the rest, as they say, is history.
