Yeah It's really good if you can look pass all of the lewd stuff. I especially like how there are a lot of actual messages to the story, things like accepting people for who they are and how the imagination of a child is much greater than an adults and its not all pure entertainment like a lot of other anime shows seem to be. At it's core its simply a romance but it's also so much more and they do a good job of making typical/plain seeming characters more dynamic.

Ahh... This brings back wonderful memories. The 4th anime I've ever watched, and so far it's my 2nd favorite one, along with Assassination Classroom being my #1 fav anime. (it's #1 because it's the first EVER show/anime I've EVER ACTUALLY legitimately cried to) TBH... I couldn't cry when I finished the anime, as much as I wanted to, I just couldn't, just because I was so angry/sad/depressed with the final episode ending how it did. I wish they were still alive, happy and together. Ik they kinda are reunited by being reborn/reincarnated, but it doesn't feel the same as before. I'm also wishing for another season, but I think we all know that's not gonna happen any time soon. But alas, we can still have faith that they'll make a second season... We can only hope for such a miracle... 😢 But, great work man. You are very talented. Keep up the amazing work, and keep blessing my ears with your wonderful music. 😊👍
I totally relate to you! Assassination Classroom holds the #1 spot in my entire list, with DITF holding in a close #2 . Loved this anime to its entirety. I have watched it like, 3-4 times already and all the emotions just run up as original as they were in the first time.

Alright, I'm oficially broken now. Well done cruel world; I actually think our world, the real world is way crueler than *any* world out there. But my feelings aside, this is a masterpiece even on par with Vogel im Kafig.
The reason that ending isn't hurting me so much or making me totally depressed- is that Hiro and Zero Two Promised to the others that they will come back to earth, it doesn't matter how long it takes. And at the end of episode 24 Zero Two says "if we have souls I swear I'll meet you back at earth" before they both died by the explosion. Zero two and Hiro's souls come out while they're holding hands and became the Jian THAT BROKE MY HEART TO PIECES EVERYTIME I WATCH IT- and two orbs that might represent they're souls??? So after 1000 years passed by the orbs came to earth and they became the reincarnation of Zero Two and Hiro. And the scene of they're reincarnations meet and they holded hands thats the moment the fulfilled the promise of the 13th unit because Zero Two said (man I'm saying Zero two too much-) that they will come back to earth with her and HER DARLING. So what I think what the scene meant was how Zero Two and Hiro fulfilled the promise that the 13th unit wanted- *and just imagining season 2 in my head-* and thats why the ending doesn't hurt me that much anymore :') *I think-*

And at the end of episode 24 Zero Two says "if we have souls I swear I'll meet you back at earth" before they both died by the explosion. Zero two and Hiro's souls come out while they're holding hands and became the Jian THAT BROKE MY HEART TO PIECES EVERYTIME I WATCH IT- and two orbs that might represent they're souls??? So after 1000 years passed by the orbs came to earth and they became the reincarnation of Zero Two and Hiro. And the scene of they're reincarnations meet and they holded hands thats the moment the fulfilled the promise of the 13th unit because Zero Two said (man I'm saying Zero two too much-) that they will come back to earth with her and HER DARLING. So what I think what the scene meant was how Zero Two and Hiro fulfilled the promise that the 13th unit wanted- *and just imagining season 2 in my head-* and thats why the ending doesn't hurt me that much anymore :') *I think-*
