      All these dangerous drivers and you point out the one cyclist that put no one at risk. This speaks volumes about your threat assessment on the roads.

      @@wonkyboy thats not the point - I do cycle (well when the weather is nice, I don't wear the lycra crap either), but nearly all cyclists mount pavements to avoid red lights, ride straight across pedestrian crossings, ignore zebra crossings with pedestrians waiting on them, avoid designated cycle routes, often clipping cars wing mirrors and pulling up in front of cars leaving them with little or no braking distance etc.... then there's the types that only ride on pavements where they do not have priority but expect pedestrians to move out of their way, there are a few that don't (including me) that do cycle considerately but that number is way less than 20% of all cyclists, so the point they make is totally valid, but you want to deflect because clearly you maybe fit into one of those categories I mention above? you want to gaslight about other folks "threat assessments" pathetic comment grow up. ever heard of the saying 2 wrongs don't make a right?

    Hi there LDC, not only am I a fellow Londoner, but also a Kia driver for the last 13 years, (only a Picanto at my age,😂). I found your channel only for my eldest son to say "Oh I watch him too". I love your clips of school "mums". My son lives near a school and loves, not, getting home to find an "entitled" mother sat across his drive refusing to move as "I'm waiting for my child." My son then politely yodels that either she moves or he will move her. We now live in Middle England so can sympathise with you.

    I noticed a comment about parking on the wrong side of the road or against the flow of traffic so thought I'd add my POV here...
    It is possible to turn around before parking at least then you park in the direction of traffic. The main reason for doing this is for your, and other road users, safety. Road use is about safety and not convenience regardless of your demographic. I suffer from mobility problems and still manage to park facing the right direction mainly to make it easier for myself to pull out of the space, I don't have to do a 5 point turn in traffic, I don't have to cross 2 live lanes with limited visibility and so I don't cause problems for other drivers!!👍👍👍👍

    Hi Tony, I saw my share of idiots today too, one of them would’ve put me in extreme danger had I not been paying attention. I was doing xmas shopping in Exeter high street in Devon today and a van just casually drove down the high street, company name all over it. Only buses, bikes and emergency services vehicles are allowed down Exeter high street, this is very clearly signposted at all junctions with it.
    Now for the dangerous one. I was walking up to a T junction with two residential roads, which I wanted to cross. A car then approached this junction on my right - they wanted this turning. They could clearly see me waiting (if they were even looking) BUT they did NOT indicate right at all. As it approached, I initially thought this car was going straight on. Good job I waited in anticipation of this i***ceil doing this!

    10:20 I can see moving to the left lane, and staying there, to exit the motorway ASAP if you think the surface street will get you to your destination faster. I've spent 3 hours waiting on a freeway for an accident to be cleared...sitting in the left lane and wishing I was in the right lane to get to an exit to find a restroom!! (Obviously, not in the UK!).

    We got Smart motorways all around us. The only smart thing is the exit off them. On 20mph, I have a Merc, but with a sporty front bumper etc. So over the bumps the council likes to use I have to slow down. Now most of the fast boys see my car and they think hes going to rush off. Not over this bumps, I have to be very careful or I have a ripped front end. So get VIN number watchers alot.

That person I understand did not get sacked it was moved to the HRMC department. (quite high, if not the highest) These people are NEVER held to account. Look at the railway fiasco re tendering. The person who wrote and then approved that spec. should be dissmissed as should the smart motorway persuader.

Church on Sunday has a row of 10-12 audis and any do in the village ends up with a car park full of the bloody things. They drive in the middle of the road on narrow country lanes at 50mph, forcing other drivers into the hedgerow and potholes, and then slow down to 38mph when they join the main road, they do 40 in the 20 and 20 in the 40 and park wherever is most inconvenient. @@thelondondashcamlook at the roundabout on google maps. There is a left exit down Fort Lane. They took the second exit not the first, and second exits are usually straight on. Third and fourth exits are usually classed as right turns. They probably got confused as to which lane to be in and were dithering as they didn't know if you were going to whizz round in their blind spot. Not your fault or theirs it is one of those many badly designed roundabouts.

    • @chrisl1797
      @chrisl1797 9 місяців тому

      @@thelondondashcam If you stop the video at 2:38 it clearly shows the A217 is available for both lanes, and the M25 is available to both lanes. Neither W or E on the M25 is specified at that point. Same at 2:44. At 3:06 the signs change to M25W A217 and M25E respectively (all very faded to the point of invisiblity).... but guess what, you are in their blind spot again. So they are now probably watching what you are doing, plus trying to decide if the lane they are in is actually for the direction they want on the M25 or not. I can't say what you would do, BUT if it was me going round that roundabout where you are going then I'd have been in the right hand lane behind the Peugoet, and thus when they realise that they are in the wrong lane I am behind them and not invisible in their blind spot. I would have then stayed in the right hand lane until I got onto the bridge over the M25 and THEN would have moved to the left lane to take my desired exit. In any event LEFT is still up Fort Lane.... :-)
