The guy is literally like "This cannot work on a round Earth, because the Earth is flat", like the one with the stars and parallaxes, he literally goes "This is bullshit because the Earth is flat" Well, in that case, we can disprove the flat Earth by just simply saying, that "Earth is not flat because it's round", and present no further evidence, it's a flawed logic only a total and utter idiot would use. If you think that this is bullshit, you gotta say why and not just wave your stupid and artificial model of the Earth in our faces, because that's not what serious grown-up people do in a discussion

Until I see a flat-earther calculating anything with fluid mechanics, I automatically reject all their attempts to talk about "water physics". The formulas of fluid mechanics are also used in gaseous environments and for calculating temperature distribution. The air does not escape into space in the blink of an eye, for the same reason that water from the oceans does not evaporate into the air in a few seconds. Pressure gradients are maintained in both centers. Gradually increasing water pressure is a huge obstacle in exploring the ocean floor.
I mean, if it weren't for gravity, there wouldn't be a pressure differential, so the atmosphere would literally be gone in a few seconds as the layer of air would just start rising immediatedly. Funnily enough, there is also no pressure difference or buoyancy without gravity, but they don't get that...
Midnight well that is why gravity is an integral component of the mathematical formulas for solid and fluid pressure. You know good old P=F/A well F can be substituted for the force formula (MA) and A can be substituted as g. But flerfs are brain dead and don’t understand basic maths.

@@2maddie184 I know this is old, but on top of that, when flat eather's say gravity isn't real. How the hell do they explain the formation of the Earth? Or any stars? Anything at all. It's mind boggling how trash their argument is.
A challenge for any flatearther: 1. Create your own version of NASA 2. Create a satellite and launch it 3. Film the Earth 4. Rethink your entire existence
They would never get this far because that requires actually researching not bullshit. Notice how their arguments for flat earth consist almost entirely of debunking and insulting globe-earthers, they haven't actually *proved* their own theory. To flat earthers. Spend a bit less time debunking everybody else and bit more time proving your own theory. Until then, don't even begin to claim your theory is true.
Whenever i hear someone say "its just a theory", i cant help but think they must have failed basic science in school, and dont know the difference between a hypothesis and a theory.
What MultiT0mt0m doesn't realize (or other flerfers for that matter) is that a SCIENTIFIC theory is very different from how the word "theory" is used in a non-scientific context.
"Water flows from an higher level to a lower level and seeks its own level" Explain the tides then! Water flowing *up* a beach twice each day and then flowing back before returning day after day.
Rides are caused by the moons gravity. The moon pulls the water very slightly and as an equal and opposite reaction also affects the water at the other side of the planet. Which is why we get a morning and evening tide.
@@sahhull I was addressing the question to the flatties. We normal people know the true explanation; they don't, and can't answer it with a sane causation.
well, technically you are kinda wrong. The water isnt coming and going. Its actually the rotation of the earth that causes the "bumps" of water to move in relation to any random location on earth. Considering the sun to be stationary (its actual movement has no relevance here so its easier this way) one of the "bumps" is always on the sun's side but since the earth is rotating the "bump" apears to be moviing when in reality its the earth doing it. ua-cam.com/video/dBwNadry-TU/v-deo.html
Also the language chosen, "hump," just goes to show the mental framework we're dealing with. In reality, oceans don't form a hump, they are perfectly flat since "flat" really means equidistant to the center of gravity. Flat earthers picture the spherical globe as if it was a ball sitting on a flat table, quizzically pondering how all the water and the people don't fall off, as if there was a force that pulls everything off the planet in a single direction. It still baffles me how anyone can honestly think like that and not see anything wrong with it.
In January I had a heart attack and thrombotic stroke, a blood clot in my brain. I lost people, places and things. I know what things are but can't speak it or conview it and it is very frustrating. Learning everything from day one like a child. It was a reboot. But you know, I can learn again. It makes me sad that some people never have that ability.
This video is basically him saying " i miserably failed at grade school physics, I don't understand how it's possible to measure something without touching it"
"zero evidence for the globe" means I don't understand the evidence because I'm stupid or I don't want to understand it because I prefer fantasy to reality.
Scott Lewis lol 😂 Another possibility...making real science videos would require me to understand real science and...well we all know that’s never gonna happen! 😀😅😂🤣
It's because they can't grasp the size of the Earth/Solar System/Galaxy/Universe. If the Earth is a flat disk and the center of the universe, they are special, they feel bigger. Once in a while a flat earther will let that slip.
Dear flat earthers: Imagibe going to an area in a country where they have no electricity or no technology. They have never seen the things we have seen today. Now imagine explaining a plane, or a TV or a smart bulb. You know it exists, because you've seen it and may even have them or been on a plane. But they may not, but just because they don't believe it, doesn't make it not true. They may have their own ideas of what the outside world has. And how it works. But if you show them proof, like a video or images, won't they believe it? It's the same thing here, there have been a number of people who have gone out to space and seen the ROUND Earth. But you still choose not to believe it. Even though they have given you proof. Thats your own stupidity.
But that's not how it works. Photos, videos or someone's words can't be definitive proofs when talking about physics. In science everything should be experimentally provable. And round Earth theory is true not because it has been visually observed by a few hundred people, but because it has something that flat Earth doesn't. A system of self-consistent and logical explanations that you can experimentally prove by yourself, given enough competence and dedication.
@@danhandley8692 how so? I'm just stating that round Earth is true not because we have photos (despite them being real), but because it makes sense and flat Earth doesn't. You can fake footage but you can't fake logic, math and laws of physics.
@@Forthro That's not the way proof works. Do you honestly think photos are proof? That is asinine in the extreme. Theories must be proven with experiments. Observation do not need to be experimented to be supported. The fact that BILLIONS of people see that the Earth is round is proof enough. Science requires repeatable RESULTS, not repeatable experiments. how you come to that result is not as import as the fact that the process resulted in the same conclusion for more than one person. Makes you wonder what they think would happen to water on a globe. Do they expect the water to form a perfectly flat disc balancing precariously on top of the earth, somehow unable to be pulled down by gravity?
Peter, the water in your examples isn't bending around a curve, it is shaped by the container it's in. Knight, they argue that the water sits in a container formed of the Earth's surface and a surrounding wall of ice. Water DOES conform to a 'curve' because of gravity.
These flat earthers don't understand the difference between a "theory" and a "scientific theory". Scientific theory involves observing and testing a hypothesis to see if it's right, and if it is it becomes a scientific theory. Science is based on facts. Flat earth is based on fantasy.
Funny thing. In the Netflix documental "beyond the curve" some flat earthers accidentally demonstrated that the earth rotates while trying to disprove it.
Rotation: We detect an 15 degree hourly shift. You get lighter at equator than at the poles because of centrifugal forces. And yes you have to calculate in the spin doing long range gunnery. This effect changes with latitude and the direction you are firing.
@@sue4245 yep. Due to a phenomenon called refraction. Earth's atmosphere is not equally dense all the way through. So light when comes from a star refracts before reaching our eyes. So the light that gets into our eyes if we project backwards again, then the star seems to be in slightly different location. Hence we see the twinkling stars. Another interesting fact. If we look into any star, we are actually looking into past. The light that just enters our eyes might have left the star billions of years ago.

@@midnight8341 But, but...ah, there's a firmament placed by god, so the air can't escape! Checkmate normal people!
Flavius funny thing is. If there was a firmament, but no gravity, then all the pressure in the atmosphere would be against the firmament.
Midnight well that is why gravity is an integral component of the mathematical formulas for solid and fluid pressure. You know good old P=F/A well F can be substituted for the force formula (MA) and A can be substituted as g. But flerfs are brain dead and don’t understand basic maths.

It's because they can't grasp the size of the Earth/Solar System/Galaxy/Universe. If the Earth is a flat disk and the center of the universe, they are special, they feel bigger. Once in a while a flat earther will let that slip.
Dear flat earthers:
Imagibe going to an area in a country where they have no electricity or no technology.

Water in a wet cloth forms around many curves

I didn't know stars twinkled because of our atmosphere! Really. I learn so much from SciManDan.

@@daveofbillog, they don't have jobs, because they are unemployable.
@Lawrence Rolls that was very much the insinuation
They should try shilling for NASA, I made 1 million flurbiwops in the last month!
They're worth a lot, because they are!
It goes: conjecture ->hypothesis -> theory. It's not that hard...
His second proof beautifully demonstrates how Flerfers do their research: "Hmm, Newton wrote a book about gravity. Should I read it? Nah, I'll just translate the title and then assume what the book is about. That'll do. See? I understand gravity now."
Reading is how the globists get you.
Also, the title wasn't "Gravitas," it was "Principia Mathematica"
@@bartonpaullevenson3427 ~ The only disagreements pertaining to Newton's book that I am aware of is whether the "c" in "Principia" is an "ss" or a hard "K" sound.
Otherwise, his descriptions and formulas for gravity are pretty spot on 4 centuries later.
This wonderkind has no clue.

MultiT0mt0m's argument boils down to the usual: "I don't understand it, so it can't be true."
"Yes, it's simple trigonometry"

Simple trigonometry is an oxymoron? LOL
@mangojulie123 - it’s not rocket science 😆

I remember Gravity. It was a dreadful film. Has anyone ever noticed these flerfers have very slow speech patterns? He's very rude as well
How very dare you! I like a good action flick, it was a very good action flick. 😉
@@andrewlee4527 As far as an action movie and the cinematography, it was an awesome film! But I (especially being a KSP fan) knew it was so dumb how thing traveled around and getting to the Chinese station and all that. I kept thing of Hohmann transfer orbits and adjusting for ecliptic etc.
It had better been called "Murphy's Law - The Movie". When she finally was back on earth I was expecting a shark killing her. That would have been an awesome ending.
"Dreadful" is a bit harsh. It was beautiful to look at, and everything else was pretty average, but I didn't think that it was dreadful.
This film?...

Dan,
Not sure if it’s just me, but every time I watch your videos.... I start to wonder about the scale of the universe and how beautiful everything is around us. Sometimes when you are reviewing flat-earth videos, I think about this; and the vast scattered elements we have barely even started to survey and figure out.
Thanks for your great content! 👍 🌟
It's funny how literally no one who has any notion of photoshop and CGI claims NASA pictures are cgi or fake
Am I the only one who's driven crazy by the pauses in this guy's talking? Seriously, his video could be half as long.
It could be but then those people can't earn a currency from a system they don't believe into. Similar how the earth can't be round because water would ignore gravity but gravity doesn't exist.
Flerfer brains are like cars with breaks but no motor.
Well, either this guy have a severe respiratory problem, like asthma, or he is medicated with something like Haldol in a mental institution.
Go easy on the guy, talking and thinking must be extremely difficult when you have 2 brain cells
Don’t be rude to the disabled!
If the apple is heavier than the air around it in all directions, how does it know which way is down?
Nice one
It just goes with all the other apples
it goes to the grass so that the bugs can reach it easier
If gravity is simply the apple "weighing more than the air around it" and "that's why it falls," then what keeps it from "falling" upwards? Or to the side? The air is the same, and the apple is the same, and their differences are the same all around it. So why down?
What is their explanation for that?
🤦♀️
hell, why would the apple fall down when air is less dense upwards? It should fall up.
That music when proving this loon wrong. Lmao. I love it.
Edit: Dan, you didn’t need to play this guy’s video at half speed. Normal speed would have been fine. :-D
That's the way flatards talk...slooooowly and with loooong pauses....because their brains are fried already and only the ganglium in the middle of the spine still works...
Ironic..they usually don't believe on Dinosaurs, but they are proof that Stegosaurus worked!
All I can say is buuurrrnnn!!

14:09 Ironically if you take a screenshot of the image in his video and flatten it using MicroSoft paint you can clearly see the curvature of the Earth. Come to think of it if you look closely you can see it without using MicroSoft paint.

"I'm gonna educate today"
...about the non existent proofs of the flat earth.
1) I sailed on research ships for 3 years. All our navigation utilized antennas that could not be seen because of the curvature. Yet they got us everywhere we needed to go. And the coasts "rise" out of the ocean. I've seen this. "Trust your senses", right?
2) Gravity. As a geophysicist, I have used to find ore bodies, faults, and oil deposits. Who are you to say that there is no gravity when you have no experience measuring it or using it successfully make discoveries. You know nothing about any of this.
3) Gravimeters must be corrected for the spin of the Earth in order to give accurate values. Their predictability demonstrates that this correction is accurate.
4) No curvature? Are you kidding? See #1. Please explain sunrise and sun set, and why the constellations are different south of the equator. And explain why the climactic zones are symetrical on either side of the equator.

Exactly. Relative density doesn’t mean shit without gravity.
Flat earther:"Water always finds its level"
What the hell do you think bubbles are you absolute specimen!
I just wanted to say that ‘you absolute specimen’ may be my new favorite insult.
One question I have always wanted to ask a flat earther is "how can a shadow rise on a flat earth?", because I live in Albuquerque, which is nestled up around the base of the Sandia mountain. You can watch the shadow of the earth rising up the mountain from base to tip at sunset.
"Water finds its level, and then settles"... while looking at the Ocean... that hasn't settled since the earth was formed... I know he's dumb, but he's looking right at it.
