I would take this truck if I had the money. In my opinion I do think RAM does make the best western themed trucks then in other companies. Like their luxury is on the top due the the real wood trim and the colour of the interior, cause RAM does use a lot of wood trim and the colour definitely feels like a western themed truck. They even made some smart techniques like the tow mirror where you can move it upwards whenever you are towing, and storage on the back seats which is nice to have if you are gonna use it, if you do have the Mega Cap. RAM definitely makes the best western themed trucks for luxury. 👍 But I think I would rather use that money for a limited trim.
I ordered this exact spec a few weeks ago. I’m no western cowboy guy, matter fact I’m a city Seattle boy. Don’t really haul that many things but I guess if I do I’ll be good. I considered the Limited trim too because price is identical. In my opinion, black interiors feel and get dated much quicker. Aside from trucks I have sports cars and a few years back I realized that Full black interior are just plain boring and if your paying 6 figures for something might as well make it special. Recently got a G80 M4 in the Sao Paulo color as well as interior because it looks tremendous!!! Trust me if you get any vehicles in the future including a ram in this segment, go for the Longhorn, black Interior just gets boring🤷🏻♂️

I was behind a white one of these out near Odessa, TX a few weeks ago. Tailgate was smashed at the top and it was absolutely filthy; obviously it had been putting in work! Saw the two ranchers who were crewing that beast at a gas station, dressed to the nines. I doubt they were worried about the damage/dirt at all. Great looking rig and no doubt imminently capable!

I’m not rich, nor do it own a ranch but I have this same truck in a 2021 SRW model & I absolutely love it. Best looking truck out there IMO. Plus it’s extremely comfortable for a big guy, rides like a Cadillac on the interstate, but is a complete tow beast. I have made several 1,000 mile trips, constant driving, except for fuel, food & rr stops and get out feeling like I just drove down to the local store & back. I’ve driven a 2022 F350 KR. It is a great truck as well but not as nice on the inside and didn’t ride as smooth as my RAM. Also I just love the growl of the Cummins. Great great truck.

@@beemerguy2160 sorry no lies just the truth. Mine is a SRW with factory air. On the highway it rides as nice as my wife’s XT6 & as well as any of the Cadillacs I’ve driven over the years. Helps to carry several hundred pounds of weight in the bed. I use tubes of sand in canvass weight training bags. when you hit a huge bump you know it but highway driving is smooth. Of course your DRW will ride tougher than a SRW.

I have the 2020 Limited Mega Cab DRW. I love how it rides! No other brand makes a short bed DRW, and this one fits in my garage, which keeps me from leaving the $90K beast outside in the elements when not hauling a bunch down the road. I'm going to try the "Tow Haul" mode while empty this afternoon and see the difference. Normally, it takes a lot of pedal pressure to get it to really accelerate.

So a 100K truck. The truck is fine but this is for people who are pulling horses or have some serious farm acreage, and plenty of garage space to park such beast another words this is for millionaires who need something like this and likely get tax breaks for owning it. A 1000+ torgue is very impressive I have to say that. However, driving a dually , the size of this truck and it being powered by diesel is just too cumbersome and beyond impractical for just about anyone. Even as is based on the fit and finish and materials and technology used this truck is worth about 1/2 of it's selling price
I have an 18’ 3500 longhorn dually. I pulled maybe two loads with it in its entire life. Rest of the time, i use it as a grocery getter or back n forth to my big rigs. Being a millionaire is great I guess. 😊 u can buy a truck like this for no practical reason.
Actually, that Cummins diesel will typically get better mileage than the 5.7 Hemi in my Ram 1500. They've refined the engine quite a bit, and it's so powerful now it doesn't really have to work hard unless it's towing something, which is where the mileage typically drops off pretty quickly.
I have this exact truck without the megacab though (stupid option), so I have the 8' bad. Approximately $108,000 when I got it in early February this year.

I can't compare to the other brands, but the only time I feel "rough" in mine is going over speed bumps any faster than "crawl". The rear end literally pops up! Otherwise, smooth and quiet always!
Chevy/GMC trucks interiors are really plain. Even with the new dash they put in it’s still the same old cheap plastic on every other GM truck. Ford’s are up there with ram, just not the engine lol
Picked up my 3500 Mega Cab last March in Dallas and the window was $99,245.00 then added a 52 gallon fuel tank for 2000.00 from the dealer. And it's not a dually! Same truck now windows for $102,500.

I agree. The high output engine is 50 more horsepower and the interior is nicer. The 2023 Dodge Ram gets better. (LONGHORN ) .Ide rather than the GMC.

Dealers generally don’t put the floor mats in until after the vehicle is sold. At least that’s how we did it at my dealership
