Out of all the girls I think that was more Piper's home than anyone's.. she was always the mother of the family after Grams and Patty. Prue is the protector but it was Piper that the mother figure. The house and the memories meant more to her then the others. And she never wanted to be a witch she just wanted to be herself, a sister, a wife and mother. And her talents were in the kitchen and what better way to start that than at home.

Just the consistent fact that she was always keeping the family together, always trying to make a life outside of being a witch, when she was the one to make peace, when she got married her marriage came first (despite the difficulties with the elders and budget cuts), when she became a mother the kids came first, then her sisters then herself. And despite being a witch being her "higher calling' she balanced both with Grace and love. Which again all starts in the home. When Leo and Piper got married Prue gave up her room so that they would have a bigger room. She also said she doesn't plan on staying at the Manor her whole life. Phoebe was rather flighty with everything she didn't care whether she stayed or went. And even though Paige lived there for a Time it was never her actual home.

Prue was more of a father energy.. she was tough, very straight forward, protective, she had the business career, didn’t really show emotion..Piper was more the heart .. the nurturing mother.
Surreal that Prue was the 1st sister to pass away and Shannon was the 1st of the 4 leads to pass away. Season 4 is going to be a very different viewing from now on.
We need the clip where Prue summons the Angel of Death for the first time and he says to her about "the bigger picture". We need this clip especially after Shannens death 🙏🙏🙏
“But it feels good that forever isn’t today…” One of my biggest fears came to be when I lost my grandma almost a year ago, now I sometimes can’t even breathe at night and start to hyperventilate when I think about losing my parents as well. But that line just gave me so much peace… I know there will come a day where I won’t have them around and I dread that day with a heated passion, but at least I know it’s not today. ❤
the more i watch this show the more i understand why whitelighters and witches weren't allowed to be together. if leo wasn't emotionally attached to piper he would never have been okay with her moving out. and would probably be the one urging the power of three to stick together the most.
In this scene: Prue gave her Master Bedroom to Piper & Leo Prue was moved her stuffs into the former Piper's Bedroom (in Season 4, Paige was moved her stuffs & slept the vacant Bedroom). And Phoebe was moved her stuffs to former Piper's bathroom.
This was beautiful and this is how it should be and continue. Even after all these years, I'm heartbroken that they let Prue be killed just because of the jealousy Alyssa felt. May Shannen rest in peace.

Totally agree. After Shannen left, Charmed was never the same. The original Charmed Ones had such a strong bond and chemistry. ❤
