- When Paige Matthews (Rose McGowan) tries on her grandmother’s boots, she suddenly finds herself time traveling to 1967! There, she meets a young version of her grandmother, Penny Halliwell (Kara Zediker). Meanwhile, in the present day, Piper (Holly Marie Combs) and Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) are left wondering what happened to Paige. Leo (Brian Krause) mentions that he might know where Paige has disappeared to. Watch Charmed on TNT.

Rose McGowan was just absolutely gorgeous ✨🌹 This episode proves it always loved the red hair and than the strawberry blonde that followed in season 6. Cudos to Rose for going for it and doing her thing ❤
Honestly, she still is gorgeous. Yes, I know she's changed her hair a lot the last 15 years, but I still find her attractive.

Such a fun episode! I love this one. It's so cool seeing Young Grams, and Paige looks great in that outfit!

The only issue I have with this episode is the timeline. Prue was born in 1970 so patty should have already been an adult by this time and grams would be older. 1967 is only 8 years removed from the time travel episode in season 1 not 20
Their mother should have been the hippie child. Not the grandmother.

@JohnRush1 apparently it was. According to the Fandom page it was supposed to be about Paige getting to know her mum, Patty. Unfortunately Finola Hughes wasn't available so they had to change things round, unfortunately it meant there was numerous inconsistencies
@@LightLife4 So then why didn't they just find an actress to play Patty's part?
@@mrbear1302 most likely because it would've upset/disappointed the viewers as Finola was already established in the role. They could've given reference to her age at the time unless she had Prue at an early age eg late teens/very early 20's. If anything, the episode should've had a thorough rewrite before filming it
Huh. They keep shoving "don't use magic for personal gain" down the sister's throats but here we see that gramps is using spells for quality of life.
I liked how the young Penny looks like Paige, it is great casting!
Yeah but Grams was already supposed to be old by the 60s… Prue was born in the early 70s. Patty was an adult in the 70s like we saw in Season 1 😭😭
Far out! Really. This is very nice episode :) I like it at the end when Penny kill a demon :D She suffered such a great trauma and tragedy. It changed her,changed everything. She became Grams we know

Kinda funny how Paige's keeping a magical secret from the only people who could actually help her and understand her :D
Also, it seems there's A LOT that the girls don't know about magic. I really wish Grams or Patty were around more to teach them because any time Grams showed up, she was like "surely you're doing this super important magical ritual, right?" and the sisters never knew what she was talking about... If only there was some way that this knowledge could have been passed down... Like a book or something... Hmmmm...

Yes, it's kind of a running gag in the episode that Piper is like...almost trying to piece that together, to no avail. Gross foundation, but I guess a good gag, if it worked back then. Didn't age well lol

So when Leo showed up to fix the sink, rules were that whitelighters were not supposed to interact with witches, nor witches were supposed to know their whitelighters, but back in the 60s, they all were having a blast with photokineses and soft substances...isn't it funny how Charmed writers used to like messing their own stuff up?

Rules keep changes,probably because how witches act. Like how it is forbidden for witches and whitelghter get married during Paige birth, but they lift it for piper and leo for greater good.
You know, things can change over 40 years
Oh, things were just a bit different back in the "wild" 60-70s 🤷 Plus, there was no rule that forbade witches to know their whitelighters, it's just Leo was careful in the beginning because they were "special"

It really bugs me that they can’t use their powers because they’re in the past.
You're talking about a person that hasn't had sex in years but taught a whole generation about how to be better at sex like a master with minimal practice, relatively.

The timing of this doesnt seem right. How can grams be in maybe her late 20s but Prue would be born 4 years later?
