This podcast has to use the dictionary to settle arguments more than any other podcast I listen to.
I am sick of being stuck in the ambiguity, I accept my fate as a Comment Leaver. While I’m here, thanks for this show guys it’s honestly been the sole bright spot during some dark times for me recently so thanks.
Geoff mentioned some time ago that he had never heard of Google Podcasts. So if you listen to the podcast on a platform that they don't know about, are you even a regulation listener?

I changed from regulation listener to comment leaver because I felt like I had to comment on Eric’s mustache on the Geoff batting video. Well done Eric, well done.
I think we should do a poll somewhere on which of the 4 of of the regulation cast is the reason we changed from regulation listeners to comment leavers.
I would say that Gavin is the best at making Geoff laugh. Like one passing comment is more than enough to make Geoff break down laughing.
By Gavins own logic you cannot be comment leaver before being regulation listener and once you leave a comment you aren't regulation listener anymore. Now if conversation haver is next step then shouldn't you then be stuck as conversation haver and not be able to go back to being comment leaver? Also the way Geoff told it makes it so that by definition it was a question and not a comment if you want to get more nitty gritty.
If you are going up to someone who does a podcast and you tell them something about the podcast you are 1000% a comment leaver. Either way, Geoff literally documented it and by his standards he made the person a comment leaver
What if time traveling Andrew swallowed such a big piece of metal that they had to invent a new medical procedure to save him, and that same technology is used to make time travel possible, but it makes everything so bad that Andrew traveled back in time to prevent himself from eating the gummies so time travel couldn't be invented.
Clearly these guys have never had a krabby patty, otherwise they would know the value of 3 AM

I started listening after Regulation Listener and Comment Leaver were outlined, and made my first comment before knowing that the terms existed. As such, I embrace my role as a proud comment leaver.

I maintain that any comment leaver is not always a regulation listener, to me to be within regulation of listening you need to be listening to at least the most recent content, if not the entire series, otherwise you're just a listener, not a regulation listener. These aren't ranks, these are definitions, someone could have left a comment on the first episode and never listen or comment again, doesn't make them a regulation listener.

The solution for the bread bag: use one of those things that holds a drawstring bag closed, but a bigger version. You can hold down a button to open it and slide it on, and when you release, the spring clamps it shut.

If we're going to get all technical about it, Comment Leavers and Regulation Listeners are NOT mutually exclusive. I listen to the podcast regularly and by leaving a comment, I am not giving up listener status. The only people who are only Comment Leavers are people who come to the video and leave a comment without listening. And even then, they probably have a shirt.
