      thanks, seems to be working for me pretty well. doesn't make for a very good video, but me by myself I like to crowd everything close together and eliminate as much walk time as possible. Thanks for watching and God bless

    Good stuff. Looks a lot like work! I think you are set up about as good as you could be for a one man operation. Another person or 2 could really speed things up if you could get all those extractors going. Maybe you could sell the smaller extractors and get another Hillco. I have tried to eliminate as many deep honey frames as able. Trying to get to all mediums for honey. I am too much of a wimp to use deeps fr honey. Looks like a vey nice harvest. Well done!

      hello again Bruce.Feels like I've got a celebrity watching me.Ive not figured out any other way to get away from extracting the deeps.I run double deeps thru the winter. I don't like wintering in singles. I think that a deep and a medium is plenty of space, but i don't like the thought of having 2 different sizes of brood frames.So I guess my picky butt is gonna suck it up and keep packing those deeps for now.Love the setup you and rusty has going on.Most definitely got another ultramax on my radar.Not gonna complain about the smaller vivo extractors,the've got me by for five years,but they can't handle the stress from the deep broodbox frames. Well it's great to hear from ya and want to say I really loved the video you made about setting up your camera. Would really like to know more about the setting on your wireless mics.I can't seem to get my breathing noise out of my audio.thanks for watching and I'm gonna tell everybody I've been chatting with Brucesbees, its an honor for me. God bless

    Hello Hello. I do not know if somehow I have been missing your video but I know we all have been really busy this time of year. Seeing you lift those deeps reminds me just why I changed my complete operation years ago to all medium supers . I still have some problems if I get a stack that gets up around six or seven supers hi . I keep a three step stool handy just for that reason. I think you an I got around the same amount of honey this year but the whole yard of bees I lost this year I got in a little off year last year I got around six hundred pounds last year from that yard an zero this season but things happens an I am happy with every drop my girls supply to me I am greatly great full . I am glad to see your season turned out well for you an hope your winter is not to bad . I am planning on getting that same Hillco extractor you have but I am glad I held off because John just came out with a upgraded new version of that one . Thanks for the update. Thanks

      hello again Kathy. Always a pleasure hearing from ya .Hope all is well in your neck of the Woods. Wish I would have started out with all medium hives from the beginning. Can't afford to replace all boxes now.Didnt know any better when I started out. Sure hate to pack those deeps but they sure make alot of honey. Not gonna complain about those little vivo extractors,but they cant handle the deep broodbox frames very well.They got me by for 5 years but I love the ultramax.Most definitely looking to get another one.Gonna call john at hillco and find out what all has changed from the Ultramax. I don't think I would benefit from the upgraded program control .I like turning it up and down myself that way I know there's nothing getting stupid.My last honey extraction video will be coming out soon so stay tuned and ill have a year end total on the next one. God bless and take care. Catch ya on the next one

      @@morninggloryapiary7001 I think the new extractor with a flip of a switch you can go from automatic or manual. Thanks

      Funny I was just watching a video on that. Its a cool feature and definitely has appeal, but don't think I would trust leaving it alone to do its own thing and if I'm going to be right there with it , I think for a 160 dollars, , don't think I really use that feature. Kinda like to be in control of the speed myself. Another thing I noticed, I didn't see any way to reverse spinning. I use the reverse spinning feature on my ultramax quite a bit. Especially when the honey is dry and thick. And I know this is picky and kind of stupid, but I really don't like the black color on the motor and control box . I also really don't like the honey comb shaped control box, but that's just me being picky, at the end of the day its the best extractor for the money on the market.i bought those 2 little extractors because all extractors in the 18 frame range was well over 2000 price range and shipping was a ordeal. searched and studied about every extractor out there for 5 years and when john came out with the ultramax for the price he did, and free shipping to my house, there was no shaking it off. had to buy one. And in the 5 years I looked at extractors, I never saw anything about any warranties.hillcos warranty is unheard of.what kind of extractor do you use?

    Nice video! Does the chain uncapped beat up the frames? Can you use it on plastic frames? Thank you.

    • @morninggloryapiary7001
      @morninggloryapiary7001  Місяць тому

      it was very rough on frames until I got it adjusted right.it doesn't even scratch them now. you can go back and watch last years extraction videos and see what all i did to make it better.thanks for watching and god bless

    • @morninggloryapiary7001
      @morninggloryapiary7001  Місяць тому

      Yes I run plastic frames thru it also.

    Do you try and put your pollen honey frames back on. Thats only way i know how to save foundation after exstraction if they have pollen left in them

    • @morninggloryapiary7001
      @morninggloryapiary7001  Місяць тому

      yes, I put all these frames right back on. I start feeding right away and try to get these boxes full before winter sets in. I try to get the frames that has pollen even as possible in these boxes because this is the pollen that gets them started in the spring. hope that answers your question and I'm grateful for your time watching and commenting on my video. any more questions, please feel free to ask. thanks and God bless

    Where you get the base on your uncapper? Could you show it more detailed?

    • @morninggloryapiary7001
      @morninggloryapiary7001  Місяць тому +1

      hello and thanks for watching. the base on the uncapper is four wheels welded on and cut a piece of plywood to in between the legs. not much to it, but definitely made a big difference. You can go back and watch last years extraction videos and see what modifications i made to the uncapper and the differences it made. I'll try to make a better video and show exactly what I did. god bless
