Normally breaking up with someone on the phone and then immediately dating someone else is kinda shitty, but considering how much of a nightmare amberlynn was being, I can't be mad at destiny.
My ex broke up with me and immediately started dating a man half my age. Once said fellow dropped him, my ex then asked me out again. My answer cannot be repeated on UA-cam.
Destiny, however, suffered the opposite; the horror that is Amber. Destiny? You go, gorl.
Yea it kind of sounds like it was a spur of the moment thing out of frustration that they later talked about in person, not just have that be the only conversation.

I'm not Destiny's biggest fan, but we've seen how manipulative Amber gets during breakups. I don't blame her for dumping her over text and not going home for a while. Especially as she had seen Amber get physical

One thing that really bothers me about that is that nobody knows what the truth actually is. People hate Amberlynn enough to believe ANNNYTHING aside from her side. Is she a liar, yes....but does anyone actually know the truth there...no.

Respect of breaking things off face to face?? Uhm no. She could break up with Amber however she felt like it. It’s not like Amber ever showed her any respect. Hell she didn’t even have enough respect to let Destiny get home safely.
Destiny is no saint, but I trust destiny over hamby any day and honestly dont blame her ONE BIT with how she broke up over text, didn't come home for a while, ghosted hamby, and almost immediately got with another gorl.

I'm sorry, but I don't think Destiny was in the wrong for dumping Amber by text & avoiding personal contact because it's common knowledge that Amber is a quarter ton toddler that has no issues with getting physically abusive on top of her verbal & emotional abuse, something that clearly seems to run in Amber's family. We've seen how manipulative & emotionally abusive Amber has been with every partner she's had over the last 10 years, imagine how much worse she is OFF camera?! As far as Destiny moving so quickly with Dana, I see it as it maybe not being as quick as it appears & Destiny was likely DONE with Amber way prior to finally having the courage to dump her. Amber had progressively gotten more and more controlling, clingy & overall way more manipulative. She got so much worse when UA-cam started becoming very profitable for her & we've seen Amber use money to control & manipulate others. I'm not necessarily a fan of Destiny's, but when it comes to Amber I believe she handled Amber in the most logical way possible & it's why she unlike Beck, didn't need a shit ton of therapy after getting away from her.
Beck got it the worst then destiny did

The way Amber never takes accountability for her part or behavior. Shows how mentally immature she is.
I mean I totally get it that like destiny moved on so quickly and that’s so painful but what hamber did with Beck was WAY worse. Not only did she do the same thing but she RUBBED IT IN HER FACE and tried to guilt Beck literally every second of her existence. Amber was absolutely vile with Beck so yeah I think she deserves what Dusty did

Depends on the situation, i broke up with my ex via text, and we lived together. But i was mentally and verbally abused almost daily. Idk alr makes me think she was the same, so destiny doing it over the phone is okay
I agree 💯! I lived in an abusive relationship with a narcissist. We couldn't have a discussion. It was only his way. He was twice my size. He would pin me down on the bed until I would relent. I had to spend my breaks on the phone with him. He took my paycheck. He was cheating. I was so relieved when he left me even though he took everything. I spent years in therapy. Karma came for him in the form of heart disease and cancer. He had a miserable existence.
Agreed. Destiny could have mailed it in and I'd be fine. This one is also up for a good ghosting.
Yea, especially considering Amber was throwing Mountain Dew bottles at Destiny's car just for trying to leave the house to go see her mom. Could you imagine what she did inside behind closed doors?

I'd have to disagree with you on breaking up over the phone, Salty. Normally, yes. It would be crappy. But, this was after the Code Red incident and the constant fighting and controlling behavior. If Amber flipped out over Destiny going to her mom's house, what would happen if she tried breaking up with her face to face? Im not a Destiny fan, but after all of the stress and drama, especially after a long day at work, anyone is capable of losing it.
While I don’t doubt that she was distraught and crying about it off camera, why does it look like she’s fake crying in the video? She’s doing the face scrunching and whiny voice, but I can’t see any tears. It’s giving “my dog stepped on a bee” vibes.
She's never cried tears on camera, you would think she would get better at fake crying but no.

She was probably checked out from ALR for awhile and she was single, she wasn’t in a relationship anymore. Sure I bet it would sting but technically she did nothing wrong imo.
I normally side with you but Destiny was straight up being abused. Absolutely any way you can get yourself out of that situation is encouraged in my book. It’s a really really hard thing to do

I actually started to feel a slight tingle in my sympathy bone for Amberlynn. But then I remembered how she treats her partners and it went away immediately.

Not gonna judge anybody for escaping a relationship with a narcissist anyway that they are able! Maybe over the phone was the only way she could manage it without Amber arguing her way out of it.
The truth is Destiny is a coward. Shes cheated in almost every partnership she’s had and she could’ve easily left Amberlynn at any point but chose to cheat and drag the relationship on despite the misery. Destiny’s situation was nothing like Beck’s. Destiny had financial independence and a support network she could’ve turned to.
You can say the same thing about Amber. She cheated on every girlfriend. Destiny put up with a lot of her shit. She isn’t the best but she also went through a lot with Amber

With how abusive and controlling amberlynn was, how much of destiny’s body she exposed on camera, I think it was justified that after destiny had worked her shift and was probably getting screamed at and finally had enough. I probably would’ve done the same thing

I don’t want to defend Amber at all, but Destiny definitely did a lot of crappy things too. I don’t think I’m really on either of their sides at the end of the day.
Destiny will never not be “the one” to amber and now look destiny is thriving, married, moving on with their life and amber is ambering.
ETA: I’m not super pro destiny I know she wasn’t a class act, I’m not condoning other behaviors, it’s just kinda funny where things stand now and looking back at their break up and then the mess after always having her and Dana around herself and Beck
I hear you about breaking things off face to face.. but hear me out! Sometimes toxic relationships need to just end. Amber did not respect the fact that destiny was at work, she had people watching her, argued with her over the phone... while she was at work, that is not acceptable, at all. To me, breaking up over the phone was warranted, to me that means amber had pushed her so far over the phone that Destiny would rather break up with her at that moment then to continue to deal with that behavior.

It honestly irritates me to see so many haydurs defend Destiny's behaviour. "I can understand why she did it!!!" Really? Beacuse I can't. Even though Amberlynn was being super overbearing and controlling during the end of their relationship, it doesn't warrant cheating. Destiny could easily broken up with Amberlynn before actually dating someone new. If it were anyone else, we wouldn't be defending it.

Amber also made Charla spy on Destiny while at work and report everything Destiny did while there back to her. I think Destiny had tried to break up with Amber for a while but because of the way Amber is and the fact that when Becky tried to break up with her the first attempt Amber told Becky no. I think over the phone was the only way Destiny could dump her and not have her latching on to her crying and not letting go. I think Destiny wanted to break up with Amber for a long long time. They really didn't know each other when they moved in together and I think Destiny realised that pretty quickly after living with her for a few months but gave her a chance hoping she would change but eventually realising that Amber will never change.
Amberlynn didn't deserve any respect. It's abuse. If it was a man controling a woman's movements, we wouldn't insist she left him face to face.
I like that you represent the concept of not actually hating Amberlynn, and being aware of her injustices in life, but also being so incredibly annoyed by her lol. I think she is just everyone’s little sister that we can’t stand but also wish well.
I used to date someone like Amber, and I broke up with him over the phone. Like it’s the easier option because you know how they would act if you told them in person… so I don’t blame destiny for breaking up with her over the phone

Honestly I think destiny was smart for doing it over the phone. Given what we know about ALR it was probably the best option for her own safety.
I don’t think Destiny is compassionate, conscientious, or honorable, and I definitely don’t think she should ever own a pet or be around animals, but I don’t think she did a terrible thing by breaking up with Amber and then moving on so quickly.
By all accounts, Amber is a nightmare partner who is controlling, arrogant, and overly dramatic. She also has very few real interests beyond food, social media, and herself.
And why would you ever break up with a long time partner but continue to sleep with them? That’s bonkers behavior for both of them.

Ive been in abusive relationships before. I did the same thing and broke it off over the phone and then turned it off while i was at school. Sometimes its the safest option.

I don’t think destiny did something wrong by moving on instantly after the breakup. amber was abusive and destiny probably lost her feelings and moved on during the relationship. Maybe subconsciously. Either way I don’t know why this is a pity party video for Amber when we all know she’s abused all of her partners.

Ngl, I feel like breaking up over text is fine if breaking up face to face is going to put you in harm's way, and Destiny has a story of ALR throwing stuff at her and coming at her. I mean, I don't think ALR would do any damage - she's too weak for that - but I don't blame Destiny for just going: F that noise and sending the text.
As for the dating Dana just after breaking up part, I just have no sympathy for ALR considering she repeatedly starts flaunting new love interests in front of exes. She did it with Krystle, she did it with Becky, so who is she to whinge?

No, I’m sorry, but no! Amber got into relationships almost immediately, like she literally jumped from person to person so destiny had the right to do that if she wanted to as well. Also, she had probably been talking to someone else for a while, if she was amber deserved it. She did not get the decency to be broken up with in person. I don’t think that would’ve gone over well. destiny did the right thing.
