    I love how beautiful these came out. I just started making bist butters. I've been making candles for 2.5 years, and I create abstract art. I don't know if you're doing this already, but I would strongly suggest wearing a ventilated mask and goggles when dealing with mica because the mica particles are so small and lightweight that they float in the air. They can get into your lungs and cause issues, so be careful & protect yourself.

      Thank you love! Based on my channel, I see that more people find it easier to go by cups or ounces so that is why our recipe are like this. But you can take our recipe and try to import it into a converter.

      I think the emojis is because she didn't like the answer. For safety reasons, though, fragrance oils need to be measured so that you're not using too much to avoid skin irritation and prevent it from becoming toxic. All professional companies that sell fragrance oils provide the suggested percentage to use depending on what you're creating. Just follow the manufacturer's guide. Hope this helps newbies that are just getting started 😊 @JessieSimilien

    I thought I was supposed to add arrow root during the whipping portion of crafting the body butter. After it’s been cooled?

    • @JessieSimilien
      @JessieSimilien  9 місяців тому +1

      I find it preference. I used to add it during the melting process once the oil stars to cool down a bit but I now add it during the whipping process 🤍

    • @briissoawesome
      @briissoawesome 9 місяців тому

      @@JessieSimilien if it works both ways I may try it out too thanks for the tip also your body butter always looks so nicely whipped like actual whipped cream. I can’t get mine like that I’m going to watch your other videos as well. Thanks so much for sharing with us!💕

    • @JessieSimilien
      @JessieSimilien  9 місяців тому +1

      @@briissoawesome the key to having a whipped cream consistency is when you put your body butter in the freezer only let the top part solidify to the point where you touch it, it makes a slight dent. Then you whip it in intervals. 5min on low/stir speed, 5min on medium speed and add fragrance, vitamin e, optiphen, arrowroot powder, and lastly mix on high speed for 10min

    how do you keep it from melting during shipping.

    • @JessieSimilien
      @JessieSimilien  Рік тому +4

      There’s always a possibility of it melting during transit whether or not I put ice packs. So what I do is that I never ship body butter on the weekends. Most post office closes on Sunday’s which means they sit in a hot warehouse so I ship throughout the week and encourage my customers to chose 1-2 day shipping at checkout.

Is there a way to make the sound the same volume thru the whole video? I think that is what she meant. I was either jammin or leaning into my speaker to hear ya. We must always try and bring each other up to top level! Be blessed.
