Catherine is a wonderful person and we need more journalists like her. Even the schools of journalism at this point is corrupt. These schools need to be revamped and the instructors thrown out of their positions. I am so saddened by what Catherine has been through in this nation!!! And note that Democrats are FOR THIS, because they'll just hack what they want anyway, like the Clinton campaign hacked into Trump's harddrives.

It is crazy they can inflict that much personal financial damage on a reporter, not just the company she worked for. Yet, we have people in office blowing our money, forcing everyone to pay higher inflation, doing illegal things, lawfare, etc. but they are never held personally accountable. We need to demand they are held personally accountable as well! Whoever brought this case against this reporter for exercising her rights needs to be put in the same financial bind they put her in.

The First Amendment protects the journalists. There should be no need for a "law". This "law" will "give" protection (which can be repealed) to journalist when the First Amendment already provides that protection and it is irrevocable.

The way I look at it, from my 60 years watching this slow train wreck, is that there was a slow infiltration into all institutions and they started coming out of their cells during Obama. It looked dismal then but slowly I saw that as actions occurred, people began to see their realities and more and more people are coming around.
