- On Saturday it was announced by the Chicago Sky that Angel suffered a wrist injury saying “After undergoing further medical evaluation after the September 6 game against Los Angeles, Angel Reese has been ruled out for the rest of the 2024 season with a wrist injury, the team announced today. The team will provide medical updates later as needed.” There was a lot of speculation as to what exactly happened and how long Angel would be out for so in typical angel fashion she told us what exactly was happening including the fact that she has to now undergo surgery {angel video}
Now y’all angel has had a fantastic season she was drafted number 7 and is the only player for the Chicago Sky to start all 34 games this season she holds the WNBA record for consecutive double-doubles with 15 earlier, she also has the record for rebounds in a season ( with 446), surpassing former Sky star Sylvia Fowles (404). She set a rookie double-double record, finishing the season with 26, surpassing Tina Charles, who had 22 in 2010. And finished the season averaging a double double with 13.6 points and 13.1 rebounds, the highest rebounding average in WNBA history. Its safe to say that she has had a phenomenal rookie season and its all up from here in terms of her future success.

Having had a bilateral fracture of the scaphoid, which is a small bone in the wrist, and I broke both of them hence bilateral, I can tell you now that she probably won’t be back in six weeks. At the end of six weeks she’ll start rehab as she starts to regain all the mobility and her wrist. That could last up to another six weeks. Here’s wishing her the best and may she come to her surgery, safe and sound and healthy.
People are over the top weird when it comes to these kids.
Don’t want arthritis at any age let alone 22.

The most common types of wrist fractures (broken bones) that lead to wrist arthritis are distal radius and scaphoid fractures. Arthritis can develop after any break that goes into the joint, especially if the bone doesn't heal. Hoping the best for her.

Oh I had a sprained wrist no broken bone thank goodness. If its your dominant hand its an annoying injury. She blessed its only a hairline fracture shell feel better in about 4-6 weeks. Too bad she missed the last six game and I find it interesting that Kamilla missed the first 6 games of the season with Injury po rookies done had some hiccups starting their pro careers.

After Cam Brink had her surgery earlier this season, somebody (her family?) posted a very funny video of her comments as she came out of anesthesia. AR be on the lookout for folks wanting to do the same to you. As you'd expect, Cam said some pretty silly stuff (I think she talked about peanut shells a lot).

Because a lot of Dr's offer surgery. I had a serious knee injury and a torn hamstring the first Orthopedics suggested surgery and no other treatment. I decides to get a second opinion. I chose physical therapy I had 3.5 centimeter tear in hamstring. The other Orthopedics said surgery sometimes makes it worse. Don't take the first opinion you get. Mimiethalie apparently you don't know how to read between the lines obviously.
