Exactly ... We don't need a backstory on the hook, the yarn, scissors, how their grandmother's cousin's friend's sister's best friend's daughter taught them to crochet ...
Right? We need more videos like this: not ones that have a back story on everything for 3 hours before getting to how they learned to crochet by their best friend's daughter's classmate's great aunt's adopted dog's original owner's husband's grandmother taught them to crochet.
WoW! So striking in stripes 🤗. I think this pattern would make an awesome "watchman's" cap/beanie. Great stitch pattern for charity beanies...and...a good stash buster. Thanks for sharing. 🤗
Donna, your instructions and visuals are always so clear and easy to understand, as well as time efficient. THANK YOU! PS- a while back, I sent your short video of the crochet strawberry stitch to my best friend (a burly man who does not crochet) and he replied "that's really COOL!" 😅
So pretty! My daughter wants a blanket for her new daughter, where she wants a specific border, but doesn't care what I do for the center of the blanket. This would be perfect! Thank you ❤
Hi there, new here, I heard star gave us your crafting channel. I seen.you.are in PA. I was born and raised there in EASTON, my family still lives there ❤
I love this and I love the colors that you used. 😻 How many rows did you make for each stripe? Three? Thank you so much for sharing this tutorial! ✌🏻😻🧶
Hello there. I know you used worsted weight yarn. I love the vibrant colors so I was wondering if you can tell me what brand this is. I just love these colors and you seem to use them frequently. I am dying to find the same yarn. Any info is appreciated. Have a great day. ✌🏻
Thanks! Back before 2019 I got a ton of this yarn at AC Moore. It was the mill ends, bargain bin, feels like a cotton and acrylic blend. Haven't really seen anything like it before.
Hello!😃 When you started the third row, you said start at the 1st stitch, but the video shows you starting at the 2nd stitch like the other 2 rows. Am I correct?
That is not correct. I started row 3 by crocheting in the first "stitch." The turning chain-1 does not count as a "stitch" as shown at 02:19. Row 2 is made the same way as Row 3 by starting in the first actual "stitch" and skipping the turning chain as shown at 01:36.
I have a full tutorial on taking stitch patterns like this one, and converting them to blanket patterns, plus the calculations needed and other things to consider: ua-cam.com/video/JUbRd3lmzww/v-deo.html
This is what I love about this channel. The tutorials are direct, no beating around the bush, and you can clearly see where the hook goes. Thank you!

Could you do this working in a round?
I'm assuming you can't do graph work with it
How many stitches?
Any number, which means you can do any size you may like.
