Biologus is pretty much a must on just about any DG squad that wants to deal damage, so the competition between the second squad leader often comes down to personal choice, since the Biologus is so gosh darn effective on his own. Chaos Lord tends to be my personal favourite tho. Re-rolls 1 is huge when critically hitting with a 5+ lethal weapons, and an extra 5 heavy plague weapon attacks doesn't hurt either. You can pop 500 point knights in a single charge with this squad (and a little CP use), it's crazy.
Really liking these deep dives into individual units. Great work. One thing to maybe consider though is changing the music to something more Death Guard. A bell sound or something would be cool.
Don’t forget you can give him or another character in the unit Shamblerot, so with his pestilential fallout rule the enemy will get a whopping -4 to charge! Or, what I like to do, is have a unit of shooty plague marines with this guy in behind a big block of deathshroud, and have leader in the deathshroud with shamblerot. That way, my plaguemarines can shoot them to ribbons and then they get -4 to charge the deathshroud, so the deathshroud can get the charge off themselves next turn.
Oooh and You made a fine choice of having the better looking one on the miniature for the vid 😄 also from what I've seen the best way to use that beautiful dude is to have him separate and keep him in the rhino to keep spamming his hazardous profile and clear chaff off of objectives or to get him out to block movements and charges with his ability
Loving This! I run a "7 Psykers" list atm, and 2 of them are in there as well as the awesome Sorcerer on Palanquin from Legends (which hits like a freaking truck). Great to have this one highlighted!
I have three and have never put them on the table :-S it's hard to go past the Biologis/Blightspawn combo but I reckon I'll try running a second group of PM with a Biologis Putrifier and Plaguecaster. Good video!
New viewer here and really like your analysis vids on unites. Not sure how you pick unit topics but I love to see a vid or series of vids on legendary units for death guard. Came across a sorcerer on a nurgling palaguine
This was interesting, might try and pick up one of these guys. But I would like to note, the inter-section music was foul. In a decisively non-Death Guard sense of the word! Nice low, angry cello noise like at the start of the video is much closer to the grimdark atmosphere. For God's sake, get rid of the stupid handclaps.
I ran this guy is a Boarding Action game yesterday and he did really, really well.

Sometimes i wish the biop wasnt so good so we could experiment a bit more but hes such a no brainer
Pustus also came with the re-release of the DG heroes a few months back, I like his sculpt better than the zany Malignant Plaguecaster.

Then stack another 2 plaguecasters because your a monster and give them -8 to charge MWHAWHWHA
