Another great episode Spencer! I really appreciate your unagitated and very straight way of narration. I own the same type of light meter but I am happy to own it due to the fact that is also very useful for studio flashlight. Best regards. Jakob

Jakob Olszewski Great to hear from you as always. I agree, it’s a great flash meter. I have used it for flash many times. Thanks for watching!

Spencer, great introductory video ! A lot to take away from and always great to see in detail how other photographers handle things and how they organize " chaos " 😉 Specially useful imho are these neat little cards for exposure details. Maybe a closeup of them ? ( So I don't have to invent the wheel a second time, haha ) Think I have to get over there, as your place must be a posh one since all lifeboats are made by Lacoste 😂 ! Thanks for sharing another great video , until next time !

Always like looking at photographers using large format cameras, but after watching a number of UA-cam video's on large format, I find it interesting that not many shoot them in the cities, but instead travel long ways to shoot landscape images. I think shooting urban images with large format, would really show the advantage of using these cameras. Just a thought.

Appreciate you watching! I totally agree with you. I love to shoot old buildings and Americana subjects. You may like my video on the Abandoned Gas Station if you have not seen it yet. I'm hoping to get out soon and photograph some cityscapes as well. Thanks!

I've watched all of your video, and I found your channel because I subscribe to Matt Day. I was inspired to try large format years ago after seeing Clyde Butchers work, but started shooting architecture when I saw the work of Ezra Stroller. After looking at your shoot at Old Car City, I hope to do a trip there in the future, an amazing place. I was wondering what is the cost for the red and orange filter, when I looked at B&H, I was blown away when the cost for the red was 500+, Is that what they cost? If so, is there a cheaper way to use a 29red filter on a lens that large. Thanks again. I'll be passing your channel on to my photographer friends, especially the ones that shoot digital. LOL

edward stewart Appreciate you watching! Hope there is some info that may help. I just returned tonight from watching Clyde’s only talk for 2018. Very interesting to see how his photo career evolved. The colored filters are expensive. My filter size is 95mm. That makes them an investment. I think I paid around $350 for my B+W filters. I think some folks screw the filter on the inside lens since they are smaller diameter. Thanks!
