You know you’re a mom when… you get excited about LAUNDRY! What a great solution!! I am doing 3-5 loads a day right now in my sticks and bricks because dad’s bedding and many of his clothes have to be washed everyday. Plus whoever else’s I am trying to accomplish that day. Mt. Washmore never ends!
I'm embarrassed to say mine (the exact-same model) has sat in a corner for the past 18 months since moving into a rental house with no washer/dryer. I got jammed up (A) by the terrifying "warnings" within the manual but also the reviews on Amazon about the connection. I quickly came to the conclusion I didn't have the correct connection. The manual is extremely confusing . Anyhoo, I resolved I WOULD make this happen this weekend, and so glad yours is the video upon which I first fell. I got to "adapter included" and boy am I kicking myself!!! Sure enough, there it is, putting it through its maiden voyage as I write this. A few sprays on hookups, but so far smooth sailing ! Thank you!!! You're awesome.
I’ve tried several different models and have helped a couple of friends buy them and set them up, and they were great for what they are but I’m going to say now that you have WAY too many clothes in that load in your demo to effectively clean them. They are barely moving around in the tub and should be “swishing” freely to be effectively clean.
Yessss! I spend a ton of money a month washing and drying. I never thought about a portable washer. Well I just ordered the Giantex washer. I can't wait to try it out in our RV. Thanks for the info.
Yay! I’m so glad we can give you a tip for your budget and your RV life!! Please let us know what you think and if it worked for you ☺️ I hope you continue to journey with us along the road 🧡
Its frustrating with out washing machine !!! I am small living space just got 8 kg defy ! These washers are great for small spaces and the air dry function helps a lot ! If you a aparment or Rv home the best choice .. You wont regret buying one and going to launder matt and using dirty used washer s ! 🎉🎉🎉
We are full time RVrs as well for over 5 years now; with a family of 3. I got the exact same washer and it is beyond amazing. I was able to cut out the shelving in our bunkhouse area to slide the washer into an area that was made for a TV and tap into our outdoor kitchens plumbing in order to have on demand water and drains right into the sink. Right next to it we also added a mini dryer (different brand) that has a slightly larger load capacity to dry the clothes with ease. It helps to switch out all towels to super fast drying microfiber material. Normal thick house towels take WAY too long to dry. No more going to the laundry mat! Best upgrade ever.
This is amazing!! Thank you so much for sharing how you tackle laundry in RV lifestyle 🧡 I love the fact that you were able to find a perfect spot for it along with a water source! That makes it so much easier and convenient. I would love to know what brand of dryer you have ☺️ And great tip about the towels too! We are so glad you took time to share this with us!!!
@@FindYourCrazy we got the Costway portable dryer. We just open the window and turn on a little fan when it's running. I wasn't about to cut a vent hole in the trailer. It works fine with the window open.
I use a metal screen that looks like a hat from Lowes to catch the lint. After about the second wash cycle, I use a toothbrush to clean it off. If the lint is not cleaned off, it can stop up the sink and cause a water mess. You'd be surprised at the amount of lint the screen catches. I hope this helps.
Great video... Agree totally, we love our portable washing machine and have used it for years. There are only two of us so I know you love it for your large family. Just found your channel so wishing you continued safe travels and looking forward to following along on your adventure.
We are so thankful you found us and hope you continue to journey along with us! I’m so glad that you continue to love your portable washing machine…ours is fairly new to us…so it’s encouraging to know your is still working well! Thanks for taking time to connect with us…it means so much ☺️
Tip: the reason you haven't been able to drain all the water out is because it drains using gravity. If you can put the washer in a place higher than the drain hose, it'll drain completely. Very nice video. People are just crazy about these portable washers, with good reason!
I ordered a washer in 2018 that is the same price as this one is according to your link. Yours is 8 lb capacity mine is 10. My lid is square not round and it is fully automatic with two rinses. As I take each article of clothing out I make sure it's right side out and I shake it to reduce wrinkling. Mine shipped from giantex doesn't say giantex on it it says comfortable home or something like that it's a beautiful machine I just carry it outdoors and fill it from the well use the water for the garden except in the winter hang the clothes outside and they are dry within the hour
Yay! We have loved that it is an all in one…throw in the laundry and walk away until it is finished🤩 Let us know what you think about it! I’d love to know your feedback!
I am so glad to be freed from the laundromat. I was such a slave to it. I am so happy now being able to do my laundry in my small apartment. These smaller machines really has allowed me to look at the condition of each article of my clothes. The bigger machines you just unload a glob of clothes. I love the small load machines
Me biggest concern is that it does not get everything clean as it does not spin as full motions like one some portable twin tub machines. Could you please advise if i am wrong?
Hi. Line your video. Hows your washer doing? I just bought one today meed to know what the shortest was cycle can i choose. I had a magic chef and it was about 20 minutes total. Thanks
Ah! I bet having a portable dryer is so nice too! What brand do you have and do you recommend it for others who are looking for a drying solution other than handing dry?
I can't say for sure as we have never tried that. However in theory I would guess it would work, you would just have to be ready with the next bucket each time it tried to fill. I would say to double check your faucet though. If you have a traditional fixed faucet it should have the connection for the threads. But you have to screw off a piece that is already on there first, then the unit comes with an adaptor that screws back in place of that one and provides the threads for the washer. If you have a faucet with a movable wand, then you wouldn't have the possibility of threads. But in that case you could purchase a T connection to install under the sink where the lines connect.
I was able to find a nipple and an adapter to fit my particular washer and used the shower hose instead of the sink. I also made an external drain pipe (with feet) from PVC and sat it in the shower. This system worked well for us since 2016. We just got a new to us RV and now our washer won't fit in the bathroom.
Omg, that’s such a big change from the double tub I’m using. If you saw the jimmy rigged stand I have now to raise my washer up, you’d say, “ uh… that’s precarious”, lol. Love your video btw, very detailed
Hi there! We have now transitioned into a sticks and bricks house, but the washer absolutely still works and we keep it in the RV when we travel☺️ If you get it, let us know what you think!
I've had this washer for over 3 yrs. Its still working great. My only complaint is that it can be a little noisy. I'm upgrading to a newer quieter portable washer that has a larger load capacity.
Water should comfortably cover whatever amount of clothing you have in there it should be loose to allow the water to freely circulate through the clothing don't push things down just toss them in there lightly don't even push them down the way she does in the video it just makes it work harder. I've had my haier for 13 years and my giantex for 5 years. Both are in brand new condition. Use each of them DAILY both at home and in countryside
So wait... it doesn't have the clasic wash cycle? Which is.. Fill. Wash.. Drain And then Spin.. Then.. Fill to rinse (which is really a short wash) Drain.. And then Spin??? So it's semi-automatic then huh?.. Because if its not spinning after the first wash and before the rinse.. That will leave a lot of soap left in the clothes.. And to achive that missumg wash drain spin.. You would have to manually set it to wash.. Then Manually set it to drain and spin.. Then for the softener rinse cycle... You would have to.. Manually set it to the cycle of Rinse drain spin??? And if you want an extra rinse?? Then repeat the.. Manually set it to rinse drain spin cycle again???? Umm... And i didn't know any of this and i just ordered one.. I actually thought this washer was a fully automatic washing machine... Ahhhh... Sigh... Oh well... I hear they wash good though... I guess I'll keep it anyway..
It is fully automatic. We must not have given a good explanation in the video. Sorry. I think it will be clear when you get your own in and have a chance to use it. We have loved ours.
Hi, Yesterday I bought this washing machine second hand and it did not come with the user manual. I searched the internet, but found nothing. Please, could you send me the manual of your washing machine by email? 🥺🙏

Thanks so much for your review!
Total game changer for saving time and money!! I will have to remember this for when we finally get an RV.
Yes indeed! It was a learning curve for us…making it work for our life. But, now that we have made plenty of mistakes…we love it ☺️

Just bought ordered one. Was using the double tub /wash/spin kind. I’m excited about this model

I have one and I 💕 it l have the portable dryer also.

I have a sentern portable dryer .
Yes I recommend it it is a good dryer I love it
Thank you!!
Will I be able to fill it with a bucket? my faucet doesn't have threads and not sure how else to fill it

Yes you can fill it manually
Hi Frances from another Frances. Did you know Frances means free? Thank you for helping us be free of the laundrymat ;p
Amen!
Great explanation so far. Can you use fabric softener!
Yes you can!
I have this and it worked well but then the screw in the middle keeps coming out has anyone experience this?
Do yo have to raise it up to avoid standing water? You notice if the after stands or pumps out?
This model is pump-driven so we didn’t have to raise it up at all. It pumps everything out itself. Hope it works out for you☺️ Thanks for stopping by!
Omg, that’s such a big change from the double tub I’m using. If you saw the jimmy rigged stand I have now to raise my washer up, you’d say, “ uh… that’s precarious”, lol. Love your video btw, very detailed
Hi, and does this washing machine still work for you? I'm about to buy one.

Don't pull a cord out from your outlet by the cord itself. I can't believe I saw an adult do that grasp it by the plug yikes
What about a dryer
mine just stopped spinning has annyone had this issue
Oh no! I’m so sorry yours isn’t working! Ours hasn’t had that issue yet…how old is your machine?
It means it’s done washing
So wait... it doesn't have the clasic wash cycle?

Hi,
Yesterday I bought this washing machine second hand and it did not come with the user manual.
I searched the internet, but found nothing. Please, could you send me the manual of your washing machine by email? 🥺🙏
We bought ours used as well. I can't find the manual either. Sorry.
Why would you play music over the sound of the machine? All I want to know is how it sounds and you have music over it...smh
Get to the point already
😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Please be careful with Giantex.
Noted.
Why
Sounds like you are explaining this to children. Way too much word salad imo
