Prim you are gonna blow up soon i just know it. These asmr vids r so dope, and its so refreshing to see someone with passion for the things they love. When reading the benefits of an old school record I could see you doing a roleplay of someone living back then.

I like Johnny Cash. He is one of my favorites. I like how you mention the songs and then reading about the albums advertised on the inner sleeve. I actually do like the sound of the way you handle the paper sleeve. The highlight is your super soothing voice. I feel so relaxed after watching your video. btw, I like your shirt which is very cool.

I decided to listen to the album on YT after your video and well, yes, quite nice, especially the songs with the backing vocals. It makes me wanna explore playing some country folk on the guitar as well so thank you for the idea.

Idk what it is but your microphone is interpreting the sounds soooo good in this video
The way it is interpreting the sticky finger sounds and your unintentional mouth sounds at the end of your words is soo nice! Hopefully you have more country/rock artists to come!

helps: the Johnny Cash song 'Daddy Sang Bass' is the vocal bass (like alto, tenor)
Robert Goulet's name is pronounced "Goolay"
    Tchaikovsky's name is pronounced "Chy-cauv-ski"
My favorite Johnny Cash song is I've Been Everywhere

When I noticed your big eyes, I remembered that when Disney is looking for character performers, they choose people who "look like cartoon characters" as they say, people with big eyes.
That made me think about which Disney princesses you look like, if you were to audition for a role in Disney as a character performer.
So, I think you really look like Snow White and Anna!

  • @Kwisatsoundman

Prim, believe me, forget about Little green apples or "Turn around and look at me" (especially the second one, lol!), but you just can't miss Tchaïkowski, the man who composed the music of ballets such as Nutcracker or Swan lake. I'm gona grab some excerpts and put them together in a playlist called "Tchaïkowsky" on my channel if you're interested, but these are truly music masterpeaces.
I love your voice, your tapping and all the great sounds you make in this video with the sleeve and the cover of this mythic Johnny Cash album. The recording album series starts really really well!! I'm just a little bit jealous of this so classy black t-shirt you wear. On the other hand, it looks far better on you than it would be on me... Thank you for this amazing video, princess Prim!

This was a very fun video, Prim! The tapping & rubbing sounds were nice and just listening to you talk about the album & it's contents was enjoyable, very well done! This was an excellent idea and it's clear that this new album series is gonna be great! 👍😃 Thank you as always. 😊 Also, I gotta mention that you being decked out in a black Johnny Cash t-shirt & black nail polish with a black backdrop is extremely apt to go along with making a video about an album by "The Man in Black". 😎
And now we have another Johnny Cash album to look forward to next week.... awesome. These may be your only two Johnny Cash albums, Prim, but if you're only gonna own two of Cash's albums then you sure picked two of his absolute classic & greatest albums to own. In general, "At Folsom Prison" & "At San Quentin" are two of the greatest live albums of all-time. 👍
By the way, you mentioned a couple of times wondering why the song "San Quentin" was listed twice on the album, it's because Johnny Cash performed it twice. I've read variously that the decision was made before the concert to perform "San Quentin" twice because it was considered the key new song of the set and also that Cash did so due to audience demand (which is the way it seems on the album). Either way, "San Quentin" was one of two songs on the album that Johnny Cash had never performed live on stage before, the other one being "A Boy Named Sue", which of course became a major hit for Cash and won him a Grammy award.

    Boy named sue
    I hung my head
    Hurt

Something tells me that -- based on your unique videos -- you should have passed at least the 20K mark already. I don't know, maybe you can tweak the video tags a bit? Maybe it's normal in the saturated ASMR community? ^^ Just some thoughts! You're doing great so far!

    • @Mrs.HoneyMagic
      @Mrs.HoneyMagic  6 років тому +3

Hey! Thank you! 🤩 That’s very cool of you to say! I’ve been trying to use tags that fit best with each video..but I am thrilled with the growth of my channel so far! 6 months ago when I started, I had no idea I’d come this far already! Super thankful for all of you that are here supporting me like this. 👍⭐️💛

    • @4ndy32
      @4ndy32 6 років тому

Hey, you're welcome :) I'm not questioning your 'tagtelligence' and happy with the numbers too (for what the quantity is worth), it's just my intuition based on my experience with approx. 100 - 150 ASMR channels -- I guess ;P You stay true to yourself; make for a better future and the future of your channel too of course ;-) You deserve a nice place on YT!
Keeping it a bit on-topic: any songs on your wishlist? I could gift you a song or two :) I'm on Beatport, Google Play Music & Bandcamp; via the latter I can share something with you by email, but you'd have to create an account...alternatively I can download the files and send them by email. Free offer!
-Music lover & audiophile......Most known with Johnny Cash's _Hurt_ btw = impressive!

This was a lot of fun! As always, I love the way you read to us, Prim! You know already that I like Johnny Cash, so I'd like to make some comments on other favorite record albums and songs advertised on the back of your record. Thanks for going through all of these with us by the way, I loved it:
    1. Tony Bennett's Greatest Hits - His version of "For Once in My Life" is one of my favorites.
    2. Andy Williams - "Happy Heart" is a really good hit by Andy. "Where's the Playground, Susie" has a great title that always appealed to me. I haven't heard it in a long time. It was a bigger hit for someone else, maybe Glen Campbell.
    3. Ray Conniff and His Singers - One of my grandfather's favorites. "I Love How You Love Me" is a great song. Originally by the Paris Sisters, it had become a hit again at the time for Bobby Vinton. "Those Were the Days" is one of my all-time favorite songs, and an enormous hit for Mary Hopkin.
    4. John Davidson - "Goodnight My Love" is a beautiful song. It was a hit at the time for Paul Anka. Written and originally recorded by Jesse Belvin. My favorite version of the song is by Ray Peterson, and I have it posted on my channel here.
    5. Percy Faith - You can tell what the most popular songs of the time were by the number of people who recorded them, and you are correct, "Those Were the Days" and "Little Green Apples" were huge hits and show up on a lot of the albums. Percy Faith had a fantastic orchestra by the way!
    6. Johnny Mathis - Absolutely love the song "Turn Around, Look at Me". My favorite versions are by the Vogues (the big hit), the Bachelors and Glen Campbell.
    7. Robert Goulet - I posted his version of "For Once in My Life" from that very album right here on this channel. It's got over 53 000 hits, so it's a popular one! I absolutely loved your recreation of Goulet's cover pose!
    8. Marty Robbins - Can't go wrong with Marty, one of the greatest country singers ever. Some really great songs on that album too.
    9. Jerry Vale - One of my favorite singers. That's a great album which I used to have. "Till", "Those Were the Days", "I Love How You Love Me", etc. all great songs.
10 Tchaikovsky - One of my favorite classical composers. He wrote many great works, including the score to ballets like "The Nutcracker" and "Swan Lake". The 1812 Overture is another masterpiece!
I think "For Once in My Life" might have shown up as much as "Little Green Apples" so if you'd like to hear that one, I have Jackie Wilson's version posted on this channel. I also recommend the Tony Bennett version.
Thanks for the great video, Primie Prim Prim!

Who influenced you to highlight the absolute greatest artists of all-time. Don’t tell me. You’re in the real rock-and-roll community and god bless you. Johnny Cash. If there’s one person in the history of music I would like to meet (R.I.P.), it’s him. Because he’s truth-meaning truth unto himself. He never hid from it. Johnny Cash-the person-precedes all rock and roll, even his own. He is the greatest ever because he embodied/s what it takes to write a great song in the first place. ...From the sublime to the ridiculous, exhume KISS DESTROYER.
