Now this is what I like to see. I am Dutch and rather see these restoration/upcycling videos than any new bike reviews. This is way more interesting and needed i.m.o. Inspirational! Also like your travel videos...your 4 day London-NL trip got recomm. by YT and is well made with good quality drone footage, overall image quality, camera positions, editing, I think. The resto(mod)/upcycling videos are the ones that made me subscribe.

Very nice! I have this type of front rack and zip-tied a basket to it. That's much better than hanging a basket from the handlebars. Deglaze the brakepads with sandpaper or a file and the noise is gone!
ah the feeling of relief when both seat post and stem come out of a rusty crusty neglected old bike...The one by with a thumbie is a great choice for a bullet proof drive train I love those canti racks, rode with one until it literally broke after about a decade of use
Nice build. Good to see someone doing this like I'm sure most of us do, without a whole wall full of Park Tools and an unlimited budget! Keep building 😊
Hi, looks like you have a great bike 👌👌🙏🙏We are sure if you give it a little love it will be a great bike for years💪💪👌👌🫡🫡We keep our fingers crossed for the project👌👌👌Have a great day 👋👋😉😉
Another one ready for the road again. I think you could have done a little more to make the paint pop again. Try regular paint cleaner from the auto parts store and afterwards a wax finish. This is so oddyl satisfying, you won't stop grinning. Plus, especially for steel frames, it's an investment into the future because of the rust protection you add to the frame.
Nice one and it turned out greate. It's cheaper parts around you then it is i Norway though. 😅🔥 Only question I have for this one is if the chain can stay on without chain guide or NarrowWide chainring. Cool anyway. 🤙
Thanks🙏it was hard to fit in £100 budget, this may be a problem, you're right, it would be best to buy narrow chainring but if you turn it over it should be ok. so far the bike is working great. @BARN2ROAD that kind of budget won't allow any expensive parts for sure, so I understand the part choices. And on some builds, the chain stays on anyway, so it makes sense to try it out. 😁🤙 Love the work either way. 😃🔥 Enjoy Amsterdam. Great 👍 thank you for your advice 👌👌👌sounds good 👍 good I will definitely try it 🙌🙌
Try cutting the inner tube so that you only have a single section of rubber. Looks cleaner.
Oh yeah 👌thank you for advice 🙌🙌👍👍
What is that for ? Was very curious the whole time
@@jacoblavinder3827Keeps the chain from rubbing on the frame.
Just because of the cool shed and the simple small homebuilt work bench, gets a Like/Subscribe/Bell

Why changing the derailer? I think the old one looked better than the one you installed on the bike. For the rest....nice work man.

5 speed shifter and 7 speed cassette - just using only 5 gears or switched to friction mode? (nice build btw)
