Love those working tractors! Hay is looking great also. Hope you survived last night. It was rough weather here in North Georgia all night and still continues today with another night to go. Stay safe!

I had both model David Browns that you have bought them both used at a very reasonable price. Loved those tractors, never had any problems with either and both very fuel efficient especially the 990

We’ve got a David brown 885 and 1210 2wd kicking around the farm, good for chores especially for getting into dairy barns

Thanks for sharing. I love the older tractors - they don't make them like that anymore. Ergonomically the new tractors are superior but the construction, weight, reliability and ability to work on the older tractors is superior. I would never part with your grandpa's tractor. I have my grandpa's tractor and I wouldn't part with it for anything! Excellent video.

You’re right on the gas tractors getting hot when worked hard. I pulled a round baler with an old Deere gas tractor for a couple years, and it would do it, but it didn’t like it much.

    Example of greatness.
Really its as simple as running equipment smoothly, and keeping it clean, and replacing minor broken parts and tires. It must be done this way, i explain to all of the "workers" on our ranch. They need good examples like this to keep them right in all of it.
