how do i install or update my radeon 850 and chipset on the windows side of my 2017 imac 5k
Should be able to just download and install the drivers in Windows as normal
I dont have sound, u know how to fix it?
It’s normally a driver issue, is it from when you first installed or have you lost sound since? What Mac are you using?
I can install boot camp but when I switch back to Mac it runs very slow anyone know why?
Never experienced that - if you reach out to Apple Support I'm sure they can help
@@iCaveDave don’t worry I think it’s fine now I’m guessing it’s cause it was my first time switching back to Mac but every time I switch back now it’s fine!
So you have to reinstall Catalina? Well, great solution, what should I say? Before wasting that time I rather delete anything MacOS and make it a Windows only machine. At least I will have no problems again.
I did, but hang around, I have a project coming up where I'm going to be installing 4 different OSes on this - Probably Mojave, Ventura or maybe even Sonoma, Windows 10 and a linux version :)
Hey David, could you help? Every time I try this it says “disk could not be partitioned.” I have any storage space and I’ve tried a bunch of other fixes so I was wondering if you had any other fix for this? Thanks
What format is the drive in now? APFS?
Hi I’m having an issue with bootcamp, it closes right after i click continue on the first window do you hace any idea what I could try?
Best bet is Apple Support - too many variables to work it out here. They're really good with support.
All my games are running really slow after installing windows with boot camp for example valorant runs only 10 fps. How do I fix this?
Most likely driver issues, what system do you have?
@@iCaveDave I’m on windows 10 on an iMac. I used boot camp to install it. I also checked my drivers so I went to display manager, then display adapters and it said I have an intel(R) Iris(TM) Pro Graphics 6200.
@@vtx_partyxp4547 your issue may be that you don't have a dedicated GPU you only have the Intel built on Graphics witch are not really powerful enough to game on.
I had the "BootCamp could not make a partition" error and what it solved it was reducing the space assigned for Windows10 to 90GB. It's kinda low quantity but it's enough for what I needed to do with Windows...
Glad to hear you found a work around! :)
Hey man, I’ve been having this problem on windows where every time I restart, put to sleep or shut down the Mac goes into an infinite boot loop.
I’ve been told to do a factory reset but I’m wondering if it’ll remove boot camp so I won’t be able to switch back to Mac??
I don't imagine that would happen, but Apple support should be able to advise as they're great at supporting this kind of things.
hello , please I can't write on my BOOTCAMP drive because it's on ntfs format , how can I change this without erase my widows system which already on it , am using iMac Sierra , thanks
You wouldn’t be able to change the drive format without wiping it unfortunately
@@iCaveDave is there anyway to allow me to be able to write on it on Mac iOS ?
Only 6k subs? This guy is great he deservers as much as pewdiepie's trash.
Thanks! I think...
Hi
Hey hey! :)
Help me, i cant find bootcamp in my bootcamp windows 10, i restarted it and its not in my settings, hidden icons, can you tell me how to fix
I'm not quite understanding the issue - which parts are missing? Apple support are super worth reaching out to and really help with this stuff
It's in your files
Hey dave
Need help
When im installing the bootcamp is stuck on copying windows file. Pls help
Which file? Apple Support should be able to help, they were really useful when I did mine!
I need help cuz whenever i change to mac os it loads the apple logo then switches right back to windows….
Pls help
That's strange - Apple Support should be able to help, but first I'd restart holding Option R as it sounds like you may have an issue with the MacOS install.
