Can I use adhesive base for new vitrified tiles on existing floor of cement tiles ? What is the life of this adhesive ?
My existing tiles have risen at the joints over an area of 14feet by 4 geet, can all these tiles be pressed into the floor and can new tiles be laid over these old tiles with adhesives?

It's better or safe, but not required if the quality of adhesive is good.

Depends on the quality of installation. If in doubt, remove and install nicely.

If the floor is firm and strongly intact you can install tiles over it. Another option is, if the marble is in reasonably good condition you can consider repolishing.

Marble Floor:
Pros: Strong Material
Cons: Selecting right marble is very difficult, because its actual color/lining (रेशा) appears after polishing, limited color choice, higher installation cost, longer installation time, marbles are porous in nature, so after some time some tiny pin holes may appear (if you get a low quality marble), re-polishing required after 8-10 years
Tiles Floor:
Pros: Strong (if you buy vitrified tiles), installation cost less, installation time less, higher sheen than marble, no polishing required, variety of color/designs available
Cons: durability less than marble (though it depends upon type of tiles you choose), once the gloss is gone (it may happen after 15-20 years depending upon footfall rate) nothing can be done, I mean you can't polish it like marble floor
Overall recommendation: Tiles floor are better than marble
Please give us how much chemical adhesive is required per sq-feet area and which one is best . please tell me Sir.thank you so much.

But problem is that in some portions of floor is damaged (air under floor) and some portions are cracked.. Is it possible to fix tiles after repairing that portion of floor (air under floor).
