According to reports Soto wanted a suite and the Yankees said they would give him a discount on one but even Jeter and Judge paid for their own. Talk about greed the Yankees dodged a bullet on this primadonna. a.
Padres are not acting like they’re going to sign him, they have came to terms with many international free agents already. Dodgers haven’t even attempted to come to terms with a m top 50 international free agent. They are acting like they already have a handshake deal in place with Roki
If he’s a savage and wants a pitcher friendly ballpark and wants a statue when he retires he should sign with the sf giants and help us take out the doyersssss
Choice…. a team with great history but a long way to get back to greatness…SF A team that’s only been good a few years out of 50+ they’ve existed and will be eternally awful….SD Dodgers…..easy decision
Kershaw will be back with the Dodgers. He said he didn't go through all his shoulder rehab and toe surgery just to retire. He just proclaimed himself a Dodger for life at the parade a few weeks back. The dodgers already let it be known that Kersh always has a roster spot if he wants it so it's a done deal. They don't really need him till after the allstar break so an official signing right now is of no urgency.
He should have took the offer given to him not sure they’re giving more but they might offer less.. Kershaw is my favorite player but he’s had a HOF career!! The ride only lasts so long
The talk is to remove professional shame from the Dodgers!! It’s poor sportsmanship to tamper with players and the Dodgers have a squeaky clean image. Clearly, fellow countrymen Ohtani and Yamamoto recruited him and not the Dodgers front office
I don't believe for a second that the Giants are getting him I've said this before and it's no secret to anyone that Roki Sasaki said he wants to be a Dodger and play with Shohei Ohtani. The Giants need to focus on Corbin Burnes and another pitcher like a Sean Manaea tier.
The Giants are among the teams to prepare a package for Sasaki and Posey says he would be “over the moon” if SF signs him. “That would be a dream,” he says. The solid defense, the ballpark are potential good selling points. Per Susan
lol he can’t sign right before Christmas. The dead period is dec 15 - Jan 15th. He can technically sign before dec 15th but he wont, earliest he can sign with the dodgers is Jan 16th and the last is around the 24th.
Yah I noticed that you put the Dodgers in bold print and put the Giants last. But San Francisco has one of the best pitchers park in the majors were he could build his reputation and soak the the Giants or any other team for what they are worth
The Padres have two Japaneses players on their team, and their GM speaks Japanese. Yu Darvish is his mentor. The Dodgers have numerous Japanese players and Dave Roberts was born in Japan. The Giants have 0 Japanese players and does anyone in the front office, etc speak Japanese? But I think he could sign with the Mets. I would not count them out.
This is a easy decision best chance to win a world series Dodgers ✔️ ✅️ player development Dodgers ✔️ ✅️ Dodgers can offer the best 6 man rotation Dodgers check ✔️ ✅️ longterm succes Dodgers ✔️ ✅️ By the way Dodgers have Yamamoto & Ohtani Dodgers ✔️ ✅️ I can keep going 💙 💪 🙌 👏 👍 👌 💙
Tell Roki we will rename the Golden gate bridge after him tell him well even rename the San Francisco bay after him tell him we will erect great statues bigger than the statue of liberty to him
There’s a big advantage that the Dodgers could possibly have that most people haven’t talked about yet. They talked about Ohtani possibly taking away endorsement opportunities from Roki, but what they don’t talk about is the possibility that Ohtani is agreeing to endorsement deals based on it being a partnership with Roki if he comes to LA. Which would greatly enhance the amount of money that Roki would get with endorsements because it would come with Ohtani. This could be a big way how the Dodgers got a secret handshake deal done under the table. Most GM’s agree that a secret handshake happened because the Dodgers best academy players agents have been knocking on their doors looking for contracts because the Dodgers are telling them they don’t have any money available for 2025 (Roki would require all of it). But we never knew how that agreement was originally made. This isn’t something that Darvish or Senga could offer Roki because they don’t make nearly enough. So my guess is starting next year you’re going to see a lot of commercials with Roki Yamamoto and Ohtani all together in sort of like a Glavine Maddux and Smoltz “chicks dig the long ball” sort of way
There are two reasons why I’m convinced he’s going to the Dodgers 1. The argument can be made that the Padres and Giants would be worse off with Roki. He requires a six man rotation. Which means that you will have to find a number six starter to make 27 starts and your best pitchers will get six less stars per year. If Roki is an ace it will be worth it but if he struggles in year 1 it will be a disaster dealing with him, a #6 starter in your rotation and one less arm in the bullpen. Dodgers on the other hand already have the depth to go to a six man rotation and they are already doing it anyways because of Ohtani and Yamamoto. Dodgers also dont have to shorten their bullpen to go to a 6 man rotation because Ohtani is like 2 roster spots. 2. The Dodgers have not even attempted to come to terms with a top 50 international free agent. The Padres Mets Giants and Yankees have all come to terms with multiple top 50 international free agents. Obviously they would terminate those contracts if they got Roki. But the fact the Dodgers aren’t doing the same tells me they are not worried about losing out on him. Which tells me they already have a deal in place
Could you imagine him going to the Pirates with Skenes?
Them and Jared jones would be a nasty big 3
But probably not going there hahaha
According to reports Soto wanted a suite and the Yankees said they would give him a discount on one but even Jeter and Judge paid for their own. Talk about greed the Yankees dodged a bullet on this primadonna.

Really?
Definitely dodgers
Dan he’s going to be Dodger from what most people are saying here in LA. I would be shocked If he signed elsewhere
Actually, the Padres will probably sign him.

He probably already decided. He needs commercial endorsements to make up for revenue loss. Dodgers
If he’s a savage and wants a pitcher friendly ballpark and wants a statue when he retires he should sign with the sf giants and help us take out the doyersssss
Sasaki will not be a giant that’s all I know

He ain’t signing with the Giants lmfao
All the giants are doing is hoping to rise the price! They always do that when the dodgers are interested in a player.
@@newport682Sasaki isnt FA...

La dodgers duh

They do not have one Japanese players or staff member. They are a losing team. I don't think he will go to the Giants. And Slusser is a total homer.
It’s okay to have little hope would I bet on it no but hey it’s okay to hope
Giants should sign sasaki but they won’t

Why not the red sox?
If I was putting money on it, 100% to LA. As a giants fan I'm holding out hope tho.
Yah I noticed that you put the Dodgers in bold print and put the Giants last. But San Francisco has one of the best pitchers park in the majors were he could build his reputation and soak the the Giants or any other team for what they are worth
Exactly does he want to take the back seat to ohtani or grow his legacy else where idk

The giants can do a 6 man rotation.
Burnes, Webb, Ray , Roki, Harrison, birdsong and Hicks is there
Just imagine having to tolerate Machado and Tatis Jr.
The two most disliked players in the NL. 🤡👈🏼😂

I think and hear San Diego
I just want to do a little bit of a public service announcement: In San Diego, Los Angeles and Anaheim are considered NorCal, fyi.
It all depends on what he wants. Does he want to live down in la with his buddies or move out to SF or SD and write his own narrative.

Good comment
As a lifelong giants fan, I would wanna play with the dodgers hahaha
Great comment !
Then you’re not a real fan .
@@SFGiantsfan9797 joc Pederson was also a giants fan and played with the dodgers for over half of his career
Not the Giants for sure. May be Dodgers, Padres, Mets
YES, Dodgers
Stop lying to your people 😂😂😂 Giants are not in the running for him. Its between the Padres and Dodgers. LOL
