She always looked old, regardless of what year it was. The cane seemed to always be present.
Well she was around 66 here so I guess she was old by contemporary standards. Queen Mary always looked very stately indeed but in her youth she was quite handsome and feminine.
Is that Queen Mary's voice heard starting at 0:45? If so, then this is the second known recording of her voice.

Yes, It was her voice. I noticed it too!
There was a documentary about Britain Going to war, and it had Queen Mary giving out a speech on radio, it was brief, but very clear, "The Time has come, for every woman in the country to respond". She sounded like Julia, This was in the 1910's so she hasn't really aged yet.
I believe Queen Victoria voice a bit like queen Mary
