Hello there! Hope you all are doing well and enjoying the weekend. 🌻 Oh, how I love this painting. Paul Rubens MeiLiang was the first watercolour set that I bought. I do own the same watercolour set. 🎨 🤩I am not an expert on watercolour paints. But I do think their colours are pretty and vibrant. I am really satisfied with the results on my pieces. 🤭

I loved this painting! I took the outline and reduced it down to make a card.. for a neighbour who gave me a bouquet of flowers from her garden that had loads of lovely daisies!.. thanks Liesl.. another wonderful tutorial.. with beautiful scenery,

Wow, Liesl! What beauty surrounds you! Those daisies are so beautiful and I love hearing the birds chirping in the background while you paint! My daughter and her two youngest came to visit for a week because school is restarting again soon. Your daisy painting is just amazing! I agree that they needed some leaves and it really improved the composition. They're just lovely!. Daisies have character all their own! I’ve always wanted to paint outside so maybe when thee temps begin to cool lower than the 100's is a good time to give it a try. By the way, what are those pinkish flowers towards the very end of the video? Thanks for yet another wonderful tutorial! So appreciate you! 😊💕

You know, daisies are actually one of my very favorite flowers, they are just a friendly and happy flower, don’t you think? 😊 And I agree about waiting for some cooler weather to give outdoor painting a try! Maybe autumn time…The little pink flowers at the end are actually just the flowers from little clover plants. There were actually quite a few different wild flowers out there, it was fun to be surrounded by them. (Of course, there were more bugs because of that though! 😉😉) I hope you enjoyed the time with your family! Family is so important. Thanks again for your continued support Laina.
@@lieslsartisticstudio Yes, I love them too; the daisies seem to be smiling, big and wide. 😊 Growing up in CT they grew wild along with the clover. We use to make garlands with the clover. Great memories! Yes, we sure enjoyed our time with our family! I😊💕 I meant to ask, do you happen to know how to mix a navy blue color?
What fun memories we can create and hold onto throughout life….I love that you used to make garlands out of clover! ☺️ If I’m trying to mix a navy blue I usually use ultramarine blue and mix it with ivory black. (Cobalt blue might work too though.)

My printer broke; so I need to buy a new one and when I do, I have several prints I wish to buy. Like most people, I think daisies are pretty and fun to paint. Another lovely painting. The countryside where you are is stunning, are bears are danger there?
It is still winter here in Australia but the daffodils etc are starting to flower heralding the beginning of spring in a few weeks. Spring is a lovely time of the year, I love the colour.
I’m glad Spring is on its way for you! Sometimes I forget that other areas are in a different season than where I am! 😉
There are bears in those mountains, but in all the times I’ve gone there, (as well as the mountains I live at the base of) I have never seen one. But, it’s always a good idea to keep a look out! 😊 Thanks for watching today Peg, I appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment today.

It really was a special treat to paint out there. The only problem was that because I was literally sitting in the midst of flowers there were quite a few bugs buzzing around! 😅
