I love watching this channel instead of writing my scientific papers for uni.
Haha what is your major?
@@TeddyBaldassarremajoring in procrastination, apparently.
@@TeddyBaldassarre Its social psychology :D
@@yeetgor7340 oh nice! Good luck on that paper !
Agree this is way more fun than putting mulch down and pulling weeds. That’s what I should be doing .
I finally met Teddy in his store today after watching ALL of his videos and buying some watches from him. He’s as humble and amazing in person as he is in his videos, and I hope more Clevelanders support his business!
When talking about 80s / 90s Tag, Teddy is the ultimate diplomat
I hated those so much!
New Teddy content on a Saturday brings back the Saturday morning cartoon feeling!
Agreed
Hahaha nice pull. Agreed.
😂 watch This Watch That Watch too. Saturday drops
HAHA! I’m 55 and you NAILED this comment!!!😆
This is exactly how it feels! Teddy content + my coffee 😊
1. Grand Seiko putting the spring driver power reserve on the back of the movement instead of the dial.
2. Longines shorter lugs on the Spirt (Something Nomos won’t do)
3. Gshock making a metal CasiOak
4. Patek changing their warranty period for 2 to 5 years.
5. Blancpain 42mm Fifty Fathoms
6. Every brand who has converted thier bracelet to quick exchange.
and I’m sure theres more.
+1 for GS power reserve. Although I did find one that was less offensive in the SBGE225. I’m sure there are a few more, but the ones that have the section carved into the dial are terrible.
You can get the Casioak as modified models in metal. It's around 200€
Imagine talking about watch warranty when you cant afford a patek to begin with
@@NCSheriff7
Some people rather like to buy a nice car for the same amount of money 🤷🏼♂️ And it's still weak from a brand that costs WAY more than e.g. Tudor, Breitling or Omega to have 3 years less of warranty
Grand Seiko - the bracelets. Real chance to break free if they can do a T Fit style bracelet.
The bracelet is the answer for a lot of my would-be favorite GADAs. BB58's fake rivets - check; BB39's lack of oyster option - check; Aqua Terra's polished centerlinks - check; ProPilotX's lack of microadjustment - check. I don't want to have to spend extra for a decent bracelet when I'm dropping north of $4k on a watch.
So glad you mentioned Tag. They have been listening! the glassbox is sweet! the new GMT is so striking in person! Never had a Tag on my list, but I see myself owning one at this rate
Teddy and Nico are the best. Recently got into luxury watches and have spent days catching up on all their content they've posted over the years.
Such a pleasure to watch and there's no one better then Teddy when it comes to talking about watches.
Keep up the amazing work and thank you for all you do for the community.
That titanium BREITLING looks cool
Too bad they're not iced out 😂😂
BBC!
Love the content and hope to visit the new store soon!
Thank you for making high quality videos!
Helpful and informative video Teddy❤
IWC Mark XX is my most worn watch. And the bracelet is perfect.
IWC does make a fantastic bracelet for the Mark brand !
Agree - just wore it for 10 days straight on my travels and it's a perfect watch to wear daily
I like steel spitfire more 😁
Great video Teddy - love all the brands you featured. Looking forward to the event next weekend!
Thank you for making high quality videos!Love amzwatch ’s watches
Teddy. Excellent photography and editing on your channel. Great information as well. My best to you. Be well. Cheers.
Nice job like you always do Teddy! Nicely done!
I would love to see a Tudor BB 58 on a jubilee two tone matching the gilt on the dial and bezel, or perhaps an all steel brushed to match the case.
Thank you for the videos Teddy. I really love them.
Thanks for all the great content lately Teddy!
It’s my pleasure. Thanks for watching.
@@TeddyBaldassarre?? Do you have a brick and mortar store in Cleveland or just do online. Thanks
Love watching your deep dives into brands. Appreciate you sharing the knowledge
For the BB58 GMT, I need 2 things to change. Change the gilt to white/silver/light grey and the option for a 5 link bracelet.
in love with watches after watching your content, thank you for making these videos
The Tag Heuer Glassbox is amazing. Bought it last year. Hadn't looked TH way in ages. Now i am eyeing the new Aquaracer just released June 1st dial and specs for price is very appealing for my next purchase.
Longines legend diver 40mm in red!
Excellent work, T-Bone. All great choices. I’m on a Tudor kick lately, but I’m going to look up that Tag.
Good video as usual Teddy. I am in the honeymoon phase of my BB58 Bronze, I could have got the 58 GMT, but the Charles Bronzon just seemed a bit more special. I loved it when it came out 2 years ago, but no boutiques in Switzerland until this year.
Love watching these videos!
A watch really represents to me, where I am in life, and to look back where I was at the time buying that watch.
At the moment I am rocking a Tissot Gentleman Powermatic 80 and a Certina DS-1 with blue leather strap.
For the milestones in my next 5 years I think of treating myself with the Longines Conquest blue dial, Tag Heuer Carrera blue dial and strap or maybe a Tudor black bay.
In 10 or 15 years I will certainly be at the big boy watches. Can't wait to achieve the next milestone in life, and start working to the next ones!
Great video.
That Conquest is really lovely, esp in person. It makes an impression.
Great video, good job. I've never really got IWC as a brand.
Great content! Would love to know how Baumé et Mercier is doing in the market as of late.
I love all you videos 👍🏻
Nice jacket and shirt combination Teddy. 👍 I believe your fashion style is one of the USP's of your channel.
Answering your question... definitely YES: Zenith Defy 38mm!!!!! Great video as usual!!
Panerai are nice collectors watches as well imo. They have a unique look and great on wrist presence. You can wear it casually and depending on model/colorway, you can even look great in a suit with one on your wrist.
The Glass Box is the winner!
Love seeing watch companies listen to what folks want! Crossing my fingers for a slimmer Metas BB Pro.
Hi Teddy, after binging about 200 of your videos, I just pulled the trigger on my first automatic watch: Seiko SSK015. Thanks for all the knowledge ⏱️
Teddy I recommend you check out the new Tag Heuer Aquaracer. It now has 42mm, an amazing wave dial and cosc certification. Great video as always, I just purchased a Longines Conquest 38mm because of you!
Omega aqua terra summer blue the 41mm designs in a 38mm model.
IWC’s Mark XX just showed up out of nowhere. One day I was looking at their website and all of a sudden there it was. Released without any fanfare. In those early days the XX was still sold alongside the XVIII in the online boutique
Love the Conquest. One of these days I hope to be able to afford one of those.
A Tudor black bay 54 with a date would be absolutely perfect for me. Just more date complications in general for the black bay line
What do you think of the silver black bay 58?
Excellent work Ted!
Loving what Longines are doing at the moment. I think the HydroConquest is a very underrated piece. Would love to see you do a deep dive on that one (pun intended).
Glad to hear Teddy included the IWC Mark XX in this video. It truly is a GADA watch, offering several improvements over the previous model. As for the Tudor BB 58 GMT "Coke" watch, I would've liked it better without the gilt, which would have allowed the red on the bezel to "pop" more.
Nice Video, Teddy! I would buy the Mark 20 (in blue) today if the watch had the same size proportions of the Mark 15.
IWC with the Big Pilot 43mm feels like it also meets this criteria, by delivering one of their most iconic cases in a more wearable size.
Any recommendations on women's watches at 34mm OD? Automatic preferred.
I'm happy to see Tissot release a 40mm Seastar 1000. I liked the design of that watch, but 42mm was too big. The smaller size is perfect for me.
One thing I would change about the Seamaster 300m that’s holding me back… I don’t need the helium escape valve, increases the bulk that I don’t need
Love the Tudor gmt just want it on the 5 link bracelet
You should do a video on Nivada. They’ve been killing it lately with the F77, Chronoking and the Antarctic line. Very underrated brand.
Use the same specs as the 90s GMT2 master and I’m in. In person the older coke seems so much smaller than what we see today. Thin is in.
Great content!
If the Omega Seamaster diver 300m in 39-41mm case will be perfect.
BTW, please make a review video on the Breitling Navitimer 41 GMT sometime. 🙏
Maybe you could do a video on movie watches one day. Aside from the Omega x Bond connection, Hamilton has amazingly been featured in many films. You showcased Interstellar but they’ve also collaborated with Men In Black, Tenet and, most recently, Indiana Jones 5
I would love to see Nomos Tangente in 41mm, definitely would buy that watch.
Hello Mr. Baldassarre, I enjoy your show over others. I am taking your advice about not spending my food money on watches; learning to collect versus accumulate! Zulu Time is a smart man's watch!
Tudor Black Bay 58 GMT probably my go-to for premium. Seiko Alpinist is the tried and true daily.
Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Duoface.
Put the GMT hour hand set on the dial that doesn't have the day/night indicator.
It makes no sense the day/night indicator on the local time. I know whether it's day or night where I am. I need to know if it's day or night on the home/reference time.
Mark XX on a bracelet is one of the best everyday watches you can get for the price - heavily discounted off retail of course!
Longines Conquest 38mm! ❤
I'd have to say Hamilton's revision of their Khaki Navy Scuba. The original was a sports watch with only 100 meters water resistance and 40 mm case. The latest version is 300 mm water resistance and a 43 mm case. A lot of collectors passed it by, but don't have to any longer.
Great take as always! I was able to get the new Tudor Monochrome and just love it. I’ll get the BB GMT also, but was wondering and hoping they may bring that out next year in the “Batman.” If they do, I will be first in line!
One other thing and it’s kind of petty, but not a big fan of brands releasing pieces and not really making it available to the Gen Pop. Would love to get a Pink Panda!
Finally pulled the pin on a Murph 38 since Uncle makes a nice bracelet for it.
I really want a Tudor but saving for speedy lol
I love the gilt bezels
Omega Seamaster 300: if they did away with the helium escape valve or at least made it flush with the case, this would be hands down my favorite diver.
Cartier Santos-Dumont: i would love to see a Santos-Dumont medium with a mechanical movement.
Nomos Orion: shorter lugs on the larger case sizes.
Can you do a video about some cool collabs of each brand?
My thing is everybody want to watch to go deeper. I am a certified scuba diver and I do not wear any of my watches to go diving. I use a diving computer also pass 100 feet is quite extremely deep for the average diver. Be safe. Keep the video.Coming
I agree with you. I don’t understand everyone’s fascination with their watch depth rating. 99% don’t dive and probably never will, but hey! Watch people are 100% irrational.
PADI states that diving below 30m (100 feet) is beyond "recreational" diving. Diving below 40m is for those few well trained professionals. Thus a watch depth rating has little to do with real diving but more so as a marketing tool for customers who are interested in prestige of a luxury brand.
Further, who in their right mind would take a multi-thousand dollar luxury watch diving below 15m? Modern computer diving watches for a few hundred dollars have many more functions that report safety features for a diver such as ascent rest stops, decompression time, complete dive history and more.
I’d love you see Tag Heuer have a legit field watch for outdoors type people. Their old solunar comes to mind. It would be awesome to have the Tide complication. It would appeal to hikers, surfers, anglers, birders and anyone out on the ocean. Plus it’s just a cool complication that’s rarely used.
Conquest champagne dial goes crazy
Great list! No argument on any of them. Weird seeing a list without seiko/grand seiko loo
Great video, Teddy! I would love to see a Seamaster 300m GMT in the same format as the Hydroconquest GMT with a dive bezel rather than a 24 hour bezel. I’d buy it and take it around the world 🌎
I would love if the Tudor Pelagos FXD had a date on it. I might have already pulled the trigger on that though…
Best of luck!
Excellent channel. I've learned a ton from it. And, my father's name is Teddy (on his birth certificate).
Ordering a lunar pilot this week!
Grand Seikos with a clasp with micro adjustment.
How about a 36-37 mm Tudor Ranger with applied markers and white lume?
Another fantastic video,
I really wish Tudor would update the bracelet on the M79830rb-0001 and M79830rb-0010 BB GMTs, they were released around the same time as the release of the quick micro adjustment, why didn't they just include it? Or even a jubilee bracelet? Such a shame for such an underrated watch.
I actually want to complete a 3 watch collection with a GMT, i was looking forward on adding the Tudor in the coke bezel. But i’ve been warned about the aluminum bezel, instead of a ceramic bezel like the one on the Longines zulu, is it really something to worry about? Could you, Teddy, make a video about real GMTs so i can make a decision on which to add to my collection, love your videos btw
I wish Tudor put a date window on the Pelagos 39 like they did with the 42mm Pelagos. The watch epitomizes function over form, so let's keep it functional.
Teddy, what about the Grand Seiko Quartz Snowflake, I flew from Guatemala to NY Soho Boutique to get one, I think you should do a video of this whatch, a big response from Grand Seiko to the market that was asking for this release
Tudor blackbay burgundy bezel without the gilt!
Got my eye on that Conquest 38mm.
My Hamilton Khaki Bronze is one of the two watches that get the most wrist time in my collection. 🎉 If it disappeared today, I’d have it replaced with another one before I went to bed tonight.
If Tudor made their blue BB58 with a T-fit clasp and gave it the METAS treatment I would buy it tomorrow
Would like to see Taper and Tool-less micro adjust clasp on Grand Seikos.
1. tudor pelagos with less text on lower part of the dial. 2. tissot visodate with smaller lugs. i would like visodate in blocks and not cursive. day date window more close to 3hour marker. a bit lume will also be appreciated.
I really feel like Longines has the most robust and impressive product line especially at the price range. All of those pieces mentioned toward the end were top tier in their space and you’d be hard pressed to find higher horological and technical value dollar for dollar against other brands in the market.
Few ideas: 1.) More open caseback GMTs please: i.e:
1. Tudor GMTs: lighter, thiner, more colorful watches and open casebacks please
2. Mido Ocean Star GMT open caseback
3. Baltic Aquascaphe open caseback
4. Zodiac GMT and Worldtimer open caseback
5. Lorca GMT open caseback
6. Longines Zulu Time and Hyrocoquest GMTs with open caseback
2.) Cheaper GMTs: i.e:
Oris Orca, Accutron, Bell&Ross, Norquain, Nomos GMTs under $2000 please
Teddy how come Breguet 3820 a 38 mm chronograph in titanium not in this list
I am just so confused, should I buy one Rolex GMT Master or for the same price, buy a Zenith Defy Skyline and a Cartier Santos both. It's just that the Rolex holds much more value whereas the other two depreciate immensely. Suggestions please?
I need Tudor to make the Black Bay 58 with a date complication, I'm tempted by the new 58 gmt but don't need that extra hand.
IWC & TAG for me . 😛
I absolutely love my 38mm Murph
I feel like I’m finally getting close to being able to step up and get something higher end…and instead I want to buy four Longines models. Feels dumb. But can’t look away from Spirit, Zulu time, Lefend Diver 39 (love the updates it has more than the size) and conquest…probably in 41
Tudor GMT. They nailed the proportions, but I don't love the gilt. Will wait to a new colour way.
As a Grand Seiko fanboy, I would love to see one thing change, please for the love of god give us a diver that comes in at 40 or 41mm! We are not all wrist gifted lol. I owned two GS and everything else is just amazing but a smaller diver would become an instant classic.
I kight be different about this but I wish the recently released Tudor GMT has a magnifier on the date
