I have sewn together wedding ring quilts and am working on them now. I have found after scores of these wicked little devile, sewing from the center of the curve outward is the key. I believe I sew right off the first melon, attach the two end squares to the second and then do the otherside. When I attach melons to the curved center piece, I do the same thing. Yes, it takes longer but looks better, matches up better and saves time ripping when those little devils scootch around. I'd be glad to show you how and do a video. No, I do not own a GO! big electric. I have the baby, but you could make the arc, and the squares for baby and just provide a template for those that cannot afford a GO Big Cutter. It's the little squares that are the headache anyway. Cutting a few of the big pieces won't kill anyone and doesn't take a lot of time. From those scraps, then you would cut in the cutter to save fabric.

JoAnne Denison did you ever do a video making this quilt? I would love to see as I tried and gave up last year, now I have come back to try again.🙂

These are great tips! I have this die & fabric, but have been hesitant because I know how finicky this patter is. The pattern is beautiful & will be my quilt for 2021!

Where is the pattern for the quilt in the back ground? Why are the connections perfect squares, this make for a boxy circle.

Gutes Video. Bitte machen Sie sich doch einmal Gedanken, ob es nicht möglich ist einen deutschen Untertitel einzubauen. Danke

Well done! Even though I don't have the Big model (have GO!), I HAVE done this quilt & she knows what she is talking about. The other gal is just a waste of space in my opinion & just spouts party line, has shown no knowledge or initiative. I surely would be better off if I hadn't have given her the hrs I did.

Accuquilt video people need to take a lesson from Donna Jordan and her son James on how to make quilting videos that actually teach viewers. Accuquilt videos are terrible. Written instructions are terrible, the instructions online are messed up. You’d think with all the money they make on the products that have a huge make up for profit that they could afford better instructional videos. Psssstttttt….you may make even more money if your videos actually showed every step.
