- If you have a Roku you or someone else may have set it up with a PIN number. PIN Numbers are used so that the account owner can control what kinds of apps are added to the device along with the ability to approve purchases. But if you forget your PIN it could mean that you can no longer add content to the Roku, free or not. In order to fix that you will need to know How To Reset A Roku PIN Number.

Not sure if this is something you cover, i used to have a Samsung tv, but now have a Roku tv, unfortunately, the power button and volume buttons no longer work on my sky/Cable remote with the Roku tv, whereas they did work with my old Samsung tv, do you have any idea why?

I rent rooms and someone left a roku device at my house going on almost 4 years now. I tried to set this device up for a new tennant but got hit with this pin. Needless to say its impossible to log into the roku account it's self..so am I just screwed here or is there a way?

When I sign in I don't get that screen. Can't find pin preference anywhere.
I listened this 3 times to catch the steps This was ridiculously long too much talking. Simply get the mobile app and just change it. It's not complicated like this guy

No, when you get to the toggle you lose me. You go straight to your email address but you don’t say or show how. You were good until that point. 🤦🏾♀️🤷🏽♀️
Toggle just means click on the control that moves it around :). Left right up down etc. I get so used to certain terminology because I'm in that world all the time I'm sorry.

I bought this Roku second hand. The roku is built in. Nothing to fix. You haven't answered this.

When I go to input the new pin, the "Save PIN" button stays grayed out. Even after I enter in a four digit pin. It's so frustrating!! 😫
I figured out the solution for this issue. When I went on my laptop computer and logged into my Roku account and then tried to change my Roku pin it worked, and I was able to change my Roku pin. For some strange reason it doesn't work when trying to do it from the Roku app or on a mobile device.

AirPlay can get hinky. Sometimes I've had to power cycle / reset my Roku and then start the process over again on an iOS device like my iPad and then it will give you the on-screen AirPlay code again Etc
