So glad I stumbled on your channel, love the art theory for AI... I've been looking for channels that help understand how to turn visions/ideas into art with AI, and this is the best channel yet on the creative side. This is an "all notifications" channel!
Thanks for the video. I'm just starting to get into ai art and after watching this, it has given me more ideas that I didn't think of before. Thank you. 😊
I AM SOOO HAPPY!! I had forgotten you're channels name in the mix of my thousands of channels that I'm subbed to.....but you just came up on my suggestions! LOVE your work! You are now an official direct web app installed on my desktop and start menu! :-)
I use bing as I can't afford Midjourney. I like to use prompts that are very open to interpretation. Today it was a phrase from Loudermilk, "As she dances in the bandwidth of her redolent frown." When I added meander to the phrase it really changed the images I was getting.
Excuse me for asking are you DOTI who use to run CSP tutorials? You sound pretty much identical ;) BTW this video is incredibly helpful thank you, I'm just starting out with AI
Unfortunately young ai developers haven’t bothered to consult with actual art historians and other experts, so the names of the ai styles have little in common with the art styles that educated artists are familiar with.
I think you have a misunderstanding about how the AI is trained. Developers are not feeding the labels into the training. The AI is seeing a bunch of art deco images and developing an understanding about what this means. As the AI improves, details about what makes art deco look like this style improve. Midjourney is just about to undertake a big "captioning" project. Where users will label images. This, to get better language to describe images.
@@jaade77 the problem is that there are and have always been tens of thousands of amateur artists who mislabel their work. So in this case AI needs help to straighten out extreme mis-labeling. If I wanted to use the style "abstract expressionism" I would have to create my own model, and rename it something like "real abstract expressionism". I would have to do that for every art movement in the last two hundred years.
Correction: NONE of these prompts are utilized in the hands of an "artist". Your 5 year old nephew can do this. No art skills needed. Let's keep that clear. Have fun with word prompts.
Probably the best video from magic prompts play list, you explained it so well here, that it becomes easy to remember all the styles now
Thank you, ArtstiicAreeb! That means a lot!

Artists often use word prompts. Shakespeare and Hitchcock for example
