I love that you add your measurements at the beginning! This is so helpful and provides some very good context. I went to a Levi’s outlet a few months ago, and I was the only one in the dressing room with 3 employees and no music (awkward for sure).
This video is fantastic!!! From the filming, to the voice over, to the content, it just feels like a high quality review of the brand!!! Well done Rachel!!! I will say though, this video to me somehow feels less vlog style and more of a full production video, which is fantastic, just keeps the excitement building for the next weekly vlog!!! Love the channel and have loved watching it grow recently!!! You go, Glen Coco!!! 💕💜💖
Great video! Yes, please do American Eagle jeans and clothes. If possible, maybe you could try a couple midrise for those of us who might be interested in venturing that direction soon?
Now THIS is my kind of video as I'm literally wearing a Levis jumper, and use to work at a clothing store that sold variety of brands like Levis. I came to LOVE their styles, but felt called out when you didn't like the 721s😅 though given your style, I wasn't surprised when the 501s were your ideal jean; they're just a basic style comfy denim and it totally works with you. This has been my favorite inside the dressing room video of yours.. maybe becuase I'm bias towards the brand, but I think the voice over and the huggeeee selection and not JUST your style made the video cater to a lot more people!
Would love an American eagle jeans video but also for other clothes there too! Feel like they’ve become more accessible since I was in jr high/high school
Loved this video!!!! Voiceover was great, camera was stable, and I loved the like little boxes of dancing Rachels at the end!!! Love that you include your measurements, and are so vocal about using them in your online shopping, I think it is something a lot of us forget about doing when it comes to online shopping!! Can't wait for Halloween themed videos! Decorating, trying out costumes from different places, omg maybe you could cook or make some fun halloween treats or dishes in a video or on a live!!!
Yassss you finally got a nail appt by the looks of it 👀 looking forward to seeing that in a future vlog! I hate jean shopping, there is nothing worse so thank you for taking one for the team.
As a fellow pear-shaped girly, I really appreciate you trying on jeans! idk why but I struggle so much with finding pants that flatter my body shape (gapping agh!) 💖
this series makes me so happy because it's so relatable - I'm similar measurements, with similar style preferences and am just so grateful for these videos. Thanks Rachel! 💖
This was sooooooo good! Loved the voiceover, it felt so well produced. These just keep getting better and better. I only missed the trademark rambles. 😊
Levis were my go-tos for years as they were making jeans that fit curvier bodies before it was really a thing. I hate that I can no longer shop in store as I am plus sized, so have had to leave the Levis behind unfortunately. Just as an aside, I always find preference of inseam length such an interesting thing to look at . I am only 5'3 and a half, but take a 32" inseam because my legs are much longer compared to my torso (my ideal inseam is actually 31" but that is difficult to find with most brands). When you said you were 5"7, I was surprised that the 30" inseam was your preference, but visually, I can see that it hits you in a good place. Thanks for a fun video :)
Just what I was looking for 🙌🏻 I'm a size 10/12 and looking for a new pair of jeans but don't know which style would be most flattering. Looking forward to the video 💕
The video is great! Was a bit like 😮 at the length but it worked. You can definitely keep experimenting with making some a bit shorter videos and some longer! They’re both great!!
I'm completely free from nausea, hooray! Only kidding but appreciate the stability for real. Regular 501s are the best... I wish they'd make them with a zipper but I have come to hate the button fly less during my time wearing them. I think you just come to terms with it eventually lol.
I also hate button fly jeans! I bought a pair online from Lucky Brand recently and I didn’t know they had a button fly until they arrived but maybe they all do? I’m glad you did this though, because now I really want a pair of the 501 90’s 🤩 definitely looking forward to the American Eagle version of this video!
OMG this is wild. I've never thought I could fit 501's, (I tried once or twice and they just didn't work) but you and I have the same height, same shape, same size!! I have new hope.
as a plus sized woman the best place to get jeans is old navy! most of the time they have one of every size in the store at my locations but id not i do have to order them online (which i dont mind doing)
new subscriber here!! you came up on my suggested videos! i used to watch a creator that did these type of videos and i loved them and then she just kinda stopped and ive been trying to fill that void. i would love an AE one! or even Abercrombie i want to order some jeans online from them but cant figure out what style to order
You WILL get used to button fly. And the buttons hold you in nicer. And it gets so smooth to button once the fabric around the button gets a little wear.
@RachelRambles Fine. Just offering a view from outside. I felt the wider ankle balances your hips really nicely. I am a similar build to you and I find the non tapered ankle makes me look taller and a bit slimmer because the balance kind of fools the eye and makes the most of my figure.
Good point I should have brought this up! They are definitely expensive but the quality is there especially for the more rigid denim pairs. If you can afford it I’d say it’s worth it but there are cheaper alternatives.
Not the catmom in me noticing Beethoven in the background scratching on the floor like what did you do!? Did you vomit 😅😅😅 Also great video and it makes me almost want to check out Levi’s if the pair of jeans I ordered is not to my liking in this postpartum body
It's insane to me that these were the largest sizes (31/32) available in store! They are catering to such a small portion of the population by only supplying size 25-32.
Dude the I had 721 s with a boot cut and they were my favorite jeans ever…but post pandemic and post baby im no longer that size and not yet willing to shill that much on jeans.
I know you had to do the voice over and it was a great video - but just wanted to say it’s definitely funner to be in the dressing room with you while you’re talking in real time Aaaaaand wow that sounds creepy
We are identical height & measurements and I don't consider myself a 12! 😮 I've always thought a 33 to be 16 and 32 is 14 which are also my two sizes I fluctuate between. I haven't identified as a 12 in a few yrs after my weight gain... it is hard to accept each number that changes. I wish we didn't care and just went based on each individual brand or clothing item! I've noticed brand like Old Navy I can mostly fit into 12s though but it seems they often build in a ton of stretch. Thanks for the video 💕
Some stores I’m a 12 some I’m a 14 it’s truly not a universal thing! I just say a number for internet branding - it’s good for the success of the video I have found.
I have been loving this series on your channel but this one felt a little different to me! 1/3 of the video was just intro/leading up to the try on.. I wish there was more content/voiceover from the actual try-on. But none-the-less, love your content!! 🫶🏻
@@RachelRambles that's fair- you did the best you could giving the circumstances with the awkward Levi's dressing room situation! We just love to hear you ramble 🫶🏻🥰
Did you mention how tall you were?(oops wrote this before you said your height😅) Thank goodness I found this video bc I’m from overseas and I asked my aunt to buy me levis from the states specifically the ribcage ones bc we don’t have those here🥲 and we are actually the same size so thank you. This video really helped visualizing the jeans as I couldn’t try them on until I get them and there’s no returns.
Love the voiceover bc it was super clear audio, but it felt too quick 😭 I found myself missing your rambless from the non-voiceover vids 😂❤ love ya!🫶
It’s really all about how brave I’m feeling to talk to myself in the dressing room lol
Great voice over! Maybe Madewell inside the dressing room?

love these videos! just came to say i prefer in person reactions over voice over; however i understand your reasoning!
Okay not to be weird but I’m literally soo obsessed with your shape! It literally makes all clothes look soooo good on you
The baggy jeans looked so cute on you!!

Rachel, thank you so much for doing this. I appreciate you.
The glow up of the production in this video got me like 😍😍
Love the voice over idea
Yay. New vlog!! The jeans look great on you! Nice nails!!
I can’t get with the button fly!!
In the U.S., are jeans worn all year round?

i live for the voiceover🤌 more videos like that plz🙏
Thank you for those added intro details!
I've been wondering as a size xl if Levi's would work for me like I liked them when I was small.
9:52 love this!
I’m so happy every time I see your subscribers number go up ❤ good job girl I’m cheering you on 🎉

After watching the video, I think I'll order the wedgie straight and 501s and see which one looks best. Thanks for the video Rachel, as always 🥰
Love the voiceover so much!
Never owned a pair of Levi’s…might be looking at the 501s though because 🥵
Great video! Love Levi’s 🩷
Please try Madewell jeans!!
I’ve never felt so “influenced”. I DREAD Jean shopping but I love the look of jeans on other people (especially you!!) so now I want to go to Levi’s
As a person with a big belly, I'm curious to know how bottoms fit when sitting, especially these jeans. Are they tolerable/comfortable or not?
You should try Democracy jeans! Those things are amazing!!!
The video is great! Was a bit like 😮 at the length but it worked. You can definitely keep experimenting with making some a bit shorter videos and some longer! They’re both great!!
The voice over definitely makes the video short!

It’s just harder with long fingernails. The less buttons the better.
The 721 high rise skinny jeans are my favorite Levi’s. But I’m also a skinny Jean girl I always have been.
Too many high school memories lol.
The tapered ankle actually isn't your friend. The 501 90s looked great.
Ok! My opinion about my own style and body is different ☺️
