Probably my favourite flash game of all time. A cult classic. Naturally it can't hold up against actual Nintendo games in graphics or polish. But it's got SO MUCH CHARM! The mismatched artstyles, all the different mechanics, the little typos here and there, the charmingly overdramatic storyline, the wonderful little toad jokes and outdated internet references, the secret rooms and pathways in the castle, oh my god... This game has so much passion in it. I feel like I can't express how much I love it enough. Of course the level design and mechanics have their shortcomings as well. Mario feels really floaty, which wouldn't be a problem, but too many stages rely on small-platform-platforming. Some of the secret stages REALLY lack polish as well. Nevertheless, I will always cherish this game with all my heart.
Completely agree. I’m gonna go play it right now honestly because I’ve heard it’s not gonna be here at the end of the year since Flash will go obsolete 😭

This games getting a sequel called super Mario 127 and even though it's basically a glorified level editor for now the creator is going to add a story mode and I couldn't be happier
Looked at the thumbnail and died and went to hevean! My favourite flash game! Shout outs to Runouw! 😍 Cause I've played it so much, weird to not see you diving everywhere, and that random celing jump, there was a hole to the left of it, but you kinda broke it and found an extended hit box for the transition lol. Plus many toads give hints or illusions to the placements of secret levels. A toad in that room refrences a really hidden one, as in the one in that celing. Did not know about the bush despising toad though, maybe I am the one who has to talk to more toads? Also according to the games pause menu, main levels with 5 shines 6 star coins, mini levels with 3 shines 3 star coins, secret courses with one shine and maybe a star coin, the bowser levels and the story levels are all distinct. Magical nerd is the best description of kamek I've ever seen! BBH is one of my favourites too along with SSL, LLL, and SL! I do really hate the fact red coin shines in bowser stages kick you out of the level, it's really stupid, and kinda deters you from collecting them, and really breaks up the moment. But love the final level and the troll fight and the escape and the story and everything! 😍! Hate how the 63 shine reward and the 64 star coin reward, the 'mush room' with like 100 1-ups, are so underwhelming in comparison. Great video Nathan! Always love the fight scenes, and this one was especially epic!!! Great work man!
From a Flash Game with a Turtle Using Ball to Summon Meteors, to a Random man Going to Every Nintendo Game ever to see bad CGI animation (srsly F-Zero was uncanny) and fight a UA-camr dressed as Dimond dude. *PERFECT* 🙂
This game looks awesome. Especially for a flash game you can see the creator spend A LOT of time on it. And then the bowser castle escape at the end.. simply genius. They must’ve had a lot of fun creating that.

*has party games, racing games, maker games, 2d games, 3d games, and open world 3d games*
Mario Franchise: *makes similar storylines for one genre*
Nathaniel Bandy:
*You gotta StRIvE fOR oRIgINaLItY*
imagine if someone were to create a game like this one nowadays, even if it looked the same they would make it need 4 years of development with a patreon.
What about super Mario power star frenzie?
icarus tbf games that look and play better can take longer to make look at kingdom hearts 3 compared to kingdom hearts 1 or 2
This games getting a sequel called super Mario 127 and even though it's basically a glorified level editor for now the creator is going to add a story mode and I couldn't be happier
Looked at the thumbnail and died and went to hevean! My favourite flash game! Shout outs to Runouw! 😍
Cause I've played it so much, weird to not see you diving everywhere, and that random celing jump, there was a hole to the left of it, but you kinda broke it and found an extended hit box for the transition lol.
NB: "I wonder what it's like to use a-"
*Random Sling Star just appears*
NB: "Wait, that's illegal...*
6:38. Nathaniel turn the camera to himself

The saddest part about this whole story is the fact that Super Mario 63 will be gone forever once Flash is ended at the end of this month...
You can download a webpage containing it and then convert it from SWF to EXE and preserve it. I did.
Download in the runnow site
At least we have super Mario 63 redux
"Not even facebook remembered" LMAO
this game is literally my childhood. had such a nostalgia rush while watching this video. thank you.
you forgot the level editor
I decided not to talk about it. I did record footage for it but it didn't really fit with the script at all.
Nathaniel Bandy thanks for the answer :)
Bandy: You have to keep switching water levels to get places in Wet Dry World.
People Who played OOT: *PTSD intensifies*
I FOUND THIS GAME IN 2014 MAN IT WAS GOOD FOR A FLASH GAME
Amazing video Nate, I used to Play this ALOT when i was 11, 12, and 15 Years old Especially with The Level editor.
Come on we need super Mario big house
From a Flash Game with a Turtle Using Ball to Summon Meteors, to a Random man Going to Every Nintendo Game ever to see bad CGI animation (srsly F-Zero was uncanny) and fight a UA-camr dressed as Dimond dude. *PERFECT* 🙂
Legend has it that he's still waiting for that cake.
d 101 lol true
Oh the nostalgia, I played this flash game so much when I was younger.
This game looks awesome. Especially for a flash game you can see the creator spend A LOT of time on it. And then the bowser castle escape at the end.. simply genius. They must’ve had a lot of fun creating that.
By the way, nice breaking bad shirt ;). And a cool view from your house you have.
6:13 yeah I'm gonna spend minutes looking at that just cracking my self up
I only liked this comment for the throbbing banger.
And legends say that he is still dancing to T H R O B I N G. B A N G E R
I remember playing this game when I was younger! Thanks for reliving my nostalgia Nathaniel Bandy!
1:53 love these high-budget special effects
oh god.
the creator of mario 63 is *genious.*
*he created the power orb before nathaniel's universe(series) becomes a thing*
I remember playing this game in Kindergarten! All of us thought it was cool, and we all thought that Super Mario 64 was the sequel to Super Mario 63...
jesus christ how old are you this game only came out like 10 years ago right
I won't say my direct age, but I can say that I'm between 13-18
1:45 I actually expected you to launch yourself through the sling star :P
I loved this game. I 100%ed this many times. Glad to see you attempt to do the same!
This game has:
The caps from mario 64
Fludd from sunshine
Spinning from mario galaxy
The spinning ability in this game is actually from sunshine and not galaxy
@@buewf2452 actually it is a mash of both. It has galaxy’s enemy damage and not the jump boost
@@ghostisbehere Yeah it's pretty debeatable i think it's more sunshine like, because if it was from galaxy, there would be stars around mario when he does a spin attack howewer here it doesn't happen for some reason
and if this was newer it would also have cappy from smo
I was just playing this game you just made me realise how much more there actually is.....WOW
0:16 HE SAID IT! HE SAID THE PHRASE!!!
Nintendo should listen to his phrase and just strive for originality. But now these days NB now strives for something, not originality
ua-cam.com/video/Iejq_rVJMR0/v-deo.html
Back when I was younger, this game was the shit! 😍😍😍

Bowser: I Has An Orb

(Ik I Spelled It Wrong It Was On Purpose)
Am I the only one that remembers Super Mario Sunshine 64. (Basically Super Mario Sunshine 64 was the game before Super Mario 63 and eventually lead to SM63 being created. Both games were made by the same person)
I remember it being a very glitchy game.
Ben Huang I think it was, but I remember it being more laggy than glitchy.
Yeah. When I was a kid I somehow only discovered sms64 and i didnt find sm63 until like 8 years later. definitely glitchy, but it was still my favorite flash game. Now its probably my second favorite :)
matt1870 I found SM63 first in 2008 when I was still getting into flash games and I played SMS64 in 2012. So it was basically the opposite for me and it took 4 years. XD
i remember it
I still come back to this game every so often and 100% it. Still fun everytime
Hell, even I did it because I got sudden nostalgia for it and enjoyed it.
